This event will take the place of our beloved Cast the Dice event, and we can’t wait for you to join the fun! Ready to take the leap into the unknown and craft amazing Harry Potter crossovers? Here’s your chance!

📝 Event Details 🗓️ Event Duration: 24 weeks (13 rounds) 📅 New Draws: Every 2 weeks 📝 Final Works Due: November 9, 2025 📖 Goal: Write 13 unique Harry Potter crossover fics

🔮 How It Works: Every two weeks, you’ll receive 5 random "Portkeys" — writing prompts that will shape your story:

Fandom: A crossover fandom suggestion (but you can choose your own!)

Character + Dynamic: A specific HP character with a relationship dynamic — you choose their crossover partner!

Trope: A classic fanfic favorite (Enemies to Lovers, Found Family, etc.)

Genre: Fluff, Angst, Mystery, Humor — you decide how it plays out!

Wild Card: A bonus element (a setting, object, line of dialogue — anything goes!)

You’ll write one fic per round, using at least 3 of the 5 Portkeys. All works must be Harry Potter crossovers and posted to the Portkey Shuffle Ao3 collection.

⚡ Optional Challenge: Feeling daring? Opt into Portkey Perils for an extra twist — and the chance to earn even more accolades!
