i just finished serious weakness after stretching it out over the course of a few months. i haven't been able to truly, effectively congeal all my thoughts into words yet but it pulled some not-new-kind-of-long-forgotten emotion out of me in a way no other art has as of yet.

somehow the little bit with insul and blake and the dog was the part that made me pause. i have always in a fucked up low empathy gory messy way felt for animals more than people and it was so so interesting to see this weird autistic faggot reflection of myself in insul. maybe because people deserve it or some other misanthropic shit like that.

in general the way power gets wielded and reversed/inversed/turned inside out felt so heavy and real and wonderful and horrible. thanks for writing it.

3/4 through serious weakness and its hooked me so deeply.... just wanted to say that the visceral discomfort i felt while reading trianon forcefem (of someone dragging out this thing that you try to keep so hidden for your survival, something you've denied yourself to be for so long) reminded me of a forced-crossdressing scene in Flowers of Evil that felt so deeply violating and personal to the author that I had to stop watching. serious weakness captures that gut churning wrongness of transfeminine violence and examines it so expansively, it's incredible. thanks for writing this sort of stuff i can feel it actively rewiring my brain
