It was very rare and not something one could ask --which was personal questions. Milo made it his objective to only ask when he was truly interested. Otherwise, privacy was respected. Caleb was the person who had changed everything for him, and so, showing this side of himself to a friend was rare. Milo could tell that he had caught caleb off guard. in fact, he even surprised himself.

Nodding his head in understanding at the mention of the murder. That was a tough subject, and though milo may have not reacted entirely with emotion, he knew enough to value that. Red flag at the mention of caleb seeing someone, the person that was keeping his friend company, he wondered if caleb was safe alone with such a person. "can they be trusted?" maybe that question was pushing it, but milo had to know. He chuckled "Me? no." no one captured his attention at the moment, if he wanted someone, he would get them. " The only thing people tend to do these days is annoy me. As if I'm one to be on bad terms with."

"Bourbon neat for the gentleman." Caleb replied with a playful grin as he prepared them both a drink. With Caleb, unless he had a reason to be pissed at you, he was probably one of the safest Brotherhood members to be around. So if Milo could relax in his house, that was something that'd make Caleb happy to know. He chuckled at Milo's response, obviously agreeing with him. After all, it was no secret within the Brotherhood that Caleb had been quite the memorable enforcer. The underboss was as surprised as Milo at the specification; not at all expecting it. "Personal, alright." He said, not trying to hide his surprise as he handed Milo his glass before lifting his own in a silent cheer.

"I might have made progress with my mom's murder." He knew the conversation wouldn't leave his bouse. "And I've been seeing someone. There's no label to whatever it is, but it makes me happy." Caleb said. The smile on his face was far more telling than the words themselves. "What about you? Anyone worth your attention these days?" Caleb didn't necessarily meant in a romantic or sexual way, but just someone that could've made Milo curious.

He waited for her to do as instructed, and when she tried to turn the ignition on and it didn't quite work. Milo took in a deep breath, he knew everything was connected properly. They could wait a few minutes to let the car charge. He looked at the battery, making sure it wasn't ruined or corrupted, electricity could flow easier when clean. "we'll give it a few more minutes." he nodded his head as he turned to look at her "Milo, considering you needed a helping hand, and I can jump-start a car. it's better than waiting for assistance." he gave a light shrug. He looked around, making sure the area was secure. He didn't trust the streets, especially at night. "aside from eating my dinner, nothing important." he gave a half smirk.

"Alright." She raises both her hands as she takes a step back from the car, watching him work for a moment. Even though she was watching the only thing she could think of is how worried the babysitter was probably getting, and she didn't need to hear all that when she went back home. "Sure thing." She was more than happy to do something that distracted her from her thoughts. When she gets in the car Veronica inserts her key into the ignition, attempting to turn it on, but it only makes a clicking noise and doesn't turn on. "Maybe she just needs a couple more minutes?" She sighed, stepping out of the car, "I'm Veronica, by the way, and I really appreciate your help. I'm sorry if I'm interrupting your night from something important."

The flirty little comments didn't go past milo, he recognized them yes. however, whether Sebastian was serious or not about it, it wasn't the kind of water that shouldn't be tested. most people could tolerate waves, well, Milo was a tsunami. "here I thought you could read a room, or were you just waiting for me to kindly say so?"

"Define acceptable? Cause I think it's better that than getting down on my knees in front of you... yes?!" He replied, Greek accent as present as ever. He sent a wink at the other enforcer. As much as he teased, Sebastian actually liked Milo. He sure as fuck needed to let loose, but he did a good job, so he had no reason to dislike him. Seb also had a fucked up logic. "You could also just tell me you're not interested and to stop flirting with you, Milo."

"Don't stand too close to the car," he stated as she looked at her before he began to work. Taking his jumper cables, he connected one end of the red jumper cable to the dead battery's positive terminal and the other end to the good battery's positive terminal. Then, connected one end of the black jumper cable to the good battery's negative terminal and the other end to an unpainted metal surface in the dead car's engine bay. All that was left was for her to start her car. "Can you turn on your engine?"

"Thanks. I'll pop this baby open and hope for the best." It was moments like these that she wishes she had paid more attention to her mechanic when he mentioned things wrong with her car, but she was always so focused doing ten other things that the words never stuck for long. She gets in her car momentarily to search for the little latch that opens the hood of her car, also to grab a scrunchie to put her hair up in a little messy bun. This time she wasn't going to zone out. "Alright, so.." Veronica begins, coming around the car, helping to unlock and open the hood so the guy had more room to work with," I hope it doesn't give you too much trouble. It's honestly not the best car, obviously, but..I'm attached. Let me know how else I can help make this easier."

"Bourbon, neat." he stated as he looked over at his friend. This was one of the rare moments in which milo allowed himself to relax. perhaps caleb had a presence that could allow him to do so. onto the topic of disappearance, or MIA. If anything were to happen to caleb, milo would be the first to go looking for him. "No, not everyone is, and so, someone has to." milo was one about action rather than talk. a person could curse, swear, say all they needed to say, but milo would silence all of it. "Personal." he found himself saying, surprisingly so, however it did not register until now that milo had said it.

"Glass of?" He asked before laughing at being told that him staying inside would be a sign of madness. "That's encouraging, at least I know you'll be among the first ones to come running looking for me the day I go MIA." He grinned as he came back around with alcohol and a snake. "They never do. Not everyone is gifted at keep their mouth shut." Caleb was, he understood very well that talking would only bring death faster, but also cause so much more damages to other people. Also, not many people around him knew of how his own mother had initiated him. The brutality of that hazing was probably why he was so unforgiving now with betrayal. "You mean business or personal or business?" He asked back.

Milo rolled his eyes as the words echoed back to him. It wasn't entertainment when one thought he was the humor in the conversation. There wasn't a sign plastered on him that read, 'Laugh, because I'm funny.' Arching a brow, he remarked, "And you think it's acceptable to flirt with me?" He couldn't fathom the reasoning behind such behavior.

"I'm like this to everyone, not just you." Sebastian repeated, using the same word on Milo to respond to his comment about not being funny, though, he was grinning at him. When people thought you were an idiot, it always gave you an edge on them. "But really, I'm just flirting with you. Can't help myself... dark and moody, makes me weak in the knees." Was he really flirting? Probably. But he was also having so much fun. Milo always made it so easy to be like that with him.

---The longer he stood here, the more brain cells were of no use in a conversation with her. "I see the blame game because you telling me to replace what you dropped is not my problem." he tilted his head "Can't help it if you have slippery hands walking comedian." he paid no attention to the people who complained that they were standing in the way of the coffee shop. She then said dungeon master and he raised a brow. For one, he did not even want to know what that referenced to, the second was she acted as if he wanted to be where she was. When she mentioned stalking, he gave her a hard look and stepped forward. " don't ever put that word in a sentence with me because that would mean wasting time. I do not waste time, nor would I spend minutes to countless hours in knowing what you do." shaking his head "and speaking of time wasted, this conversation was one of them."

⏤ She snorts, and yet again. This grumpy ass. That's okay, she also was in a bad mood, her tea was spilled and she hadn't an opportunity to even drink. ❛ No shit Sherlock. ❜ She refers to nothing adorable. ❛ It is your fault, for being on my way, all you have to do is pay me a new tea. ❜ She complains, rolling her own eyes dramatically. For a moment Elizabeth swore she saw the back of her head. A few patrons complained to both of them for interrupting the way to get inside the coffee. ❛ Blah, blah, blah… Listen here, Dungeon Master if I didn't know you better I'd say you are stalking me. Not my fault if you happen to be present where I am too. ❜ She rested her hands on her thin waist. God, she is not as sleepy as she was anymore, not when she has Milo around. Then she chuckled at his words. ❛ I am not reading into things Smilo. You're the one making the wrong assumptions. ❜

In a way, he was glad he didn't respond immediately with fickle emotions. He had been watching where he was going, and he moved, yet someone still managed to bump into him. "Don't we all." he shook his head "some more urgent than others." he stated looking right back at her.

Bored out of her mind — a rarety, yet much like the rest of the fucks around, Saher also fell into shitty, little, black holes; quiet, too quiet. Always too quiet, right before the shitstorm. Her pager buzzed. An end to boredom, and a start to dealing with whatever carnage she was going to find in the emergency room.

She'd be a lot quicker, if everyone else kept out of her way. "Maybe watch where the fuck you're going." dark eyes drilled into the man. "You got somewhere to be, pretty boy?" Move.

She had stated her name and yet, nothing came to mind. He hadn't heard about her or was a fan of movies at all. Seeing that she had expected him to move out of the way because normally that is what others would do. not milo. if he was at fault, he'd own up to it.

"so you find no fault in that it was you that ran into me." it wasn't a question, but she wasn't taking ownership. She motioned to step forward, but he held his ground. He was carefully observing her, he didn't get this close to others. "agree to disagree." he stated without hesitation.

"Kristen Parrish. Famous movie star." She said as her eyes drifted over him, briefly. She determined that she didn't know him and she wasn't even sure if she'd seen him before. "No, I don't find most people normal. I said people normally move out of the way for me. They apologize if they are in my way and tell me that it won't happen again. Offer a smile. Something that shows that they didn't mean to stand in front of me."

"You, on the other hand, did not do that." Kristen said. "Instead, you blamed me for almost running into you. Funny how that is." She hummed as she took a small step forward -- towards him. "Is this an instance where we agree to disagree, or will you step aside, smile, and apologize?" If she was being honest, she expected nothing from the stranger. She was just curious as to how he'd react to her words.

Why did he have to attend an event that required not only an audience but such close proximity? He wasn't one to be stuck in a crowd, it was like his senses were heightened. The only reason he was here was because he needed to interrogate someone. He wasn't leaving this place without doing so. if he had to endure the torture of mingling and socializing that was not the worst thing. That was until --what was her name again?-- whoever it was that claimed people would move out of their way for her.

He needed to dodge and avoid any kind of contact or interaction that did not pertain to the mission. Too late because he heard people speaking about dancing and she was now standing in front of him. milo bit his tongue, keeping his composure. Maybe she won't remember him, and it was like something kicked him into gear because he felt a shove, and they both were now at the center of the dance floor. "I did not---" he was on to say, but too late, if that was an indication that he had asked her to dance---very wrong. and why did he get the sense she took it as an invitation.

still.....all eyes on them, and he could very much pull the asshole card and walk away. play the part was what he was set on, and so, he took the lead. mentally cursing as he was not one to initiate contact. "after you."

--If it wasn't for the fact that he had business on this yacht, he would have never run into the blonde. yet, it seems where he goes, she's there. Like a cold lingering no matter the time that passes. She had warned him before yes, but he already knew the yacht was going to sink. He was prepared for all situations, he thought ahead, coming up with several scenarios, all that could go right or wrong. They needed to get off this ship.

He would have reprimanded her for touching him without permission, and he would have acted, but being as she arrived in the state she was. with seriousness. he let it go. "of course, I can swim." he said gruffly as he immediately began to look for the exit. having her follow behind, he managed to sneak past the group of people blocking the one door to the deck. "this way." he stated as if she wasn't that close behind, and he was rushing.

managing to get to an open area, they had to jump. However, at the same time they arrived, the boat tilted causing one side to lift, and well---they both fell over. landing in the water, he managed to get to the surface, when his eyes settled on her, she was a few feet from him. was she in pain?, she was grimacing, she was speaking, something about her leg---a leg cramp? and she went under.

why was this his life right now?

diving into the water, he managed to swim towards her, he wouldn't make contact with anyone if he didn't have to, but she was drowning, and it would get worse. once he grabbed a hold of her and rose to the surface once again. He then spoke with disappointment. "you can swim ay there walking comedian, you're a joke."

R : ROMANCE. is your muse a romantic or a cynic?

I would say he leans on romantic, though he does not know this himself. love or romance is not on his mind, nor does he think about it. It probably would take him a while for him to even realize it himself if it's not pointed out. If he is in a committed relationship, he would show acts of romance. His love language is acts of service + physical touch (which he will discover once he's in love).

SCREAMING - is milo a good kisser LSFJADKLFJASDA as his mun I want to say yes, but this is also milo we're talking about. someone who doesn't attach emotions. I would imagine that it would overwhelm him if he were to have feelings. To the point in which I don't think he would even know if a kiss would be able to express his feelings.

oh boy a date, he likes to go to places where there is not a lot of people. so it would have to be an intimate setting (i know the irony). He doesn't like to be interrupted or bothered, I imagine like a museum (he definitely rents it out so no one else goes). painting, some kind of activity. he can get bored easily.

Milo in bed? cough cough he likes to be the dominant one (surprise surprise). though if in a committed relationship, he'd let his partner have free reign, give and take. he's not completely selfish, but he'd want to please his partner.
