the funniest dynamc between my boyfriend and i is the chef/baker divide runs so deep. experimentally my boyfriend is a genius with figuring out what flavor profiles will not just taste good together but also will be enjoyed by the specific audience he is cooking for. a recipe is not a guidebook so much as a suggestion and he will frankenstein ideas together to get exactly what he wants to happen. he also didnt know that sugar will not work properly if you dont mix it with the wet ingredients in banana bread and when i asked 'why didnt you do it in the order of the recipe' he said 'i didnt really think it mattered'. autistically i exploded his head in my mind

Laugh my ass off when ever I remember that LJ originally was gonna be called "The Rake" and looked like a straight up off brand Ryuk form Death note but then was changed to Laughing Jack because There was already a creepy pasta called The Rake. Fuckin hilarious kills me every time.

Hello there. I’m so sorry to suddenly come into your inbox like this, but I respectfully ask you to please read the post here. It’s from one the Blessed Be The Wicked’s creators, explaining that what has recently transpired in the fandom was a big misunderstanding because of a mistake made in the OG post. They have been getting a lot of harassment and that is not okay. So if you could please read it and spread it around to help clear up some things it would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

As far as it goes. Yeah. Hate and harassment shouldn't be something he's getting regardless of what his intentions were. Even if he meant it to mean exactly what people interpreted it as, harassing them over it and sending hate is just too far. No if ands or buts about it.

I don't give a shit how garbage of a take it was and how pretentious and gatekeepy it came off as. If you're sending hate to a mf then get fucked.

At worst the guy made a bad take and at best it's what the explanation says he intended it to mean. Him calling out all the creepy weirdos and Pedos.

And I fully support people doing that.

That being said though on the explanation it's self? I'm personally still on the fence on whether I fully believe it was entirely a misunderstanding. Call me cynical (ya boy is untrusting af over here). I see a mf say some fuck shit get hella back lash and then give an explanation that doesn't fully clear up shit and I'm doubting.

Dont get me wrong the explanation given clears up quite a few things but there are still a few big points that Im just not sure I buy that they were misunderstood. It could just be chalked up to bad wording. Its possible that I'm just not getting what his thought process was while writing that shit, I dunno frankly though I don't care at this point because it's not that serious.

I'd ask him what exactly he meant about those parts I'm still not understanding but I can't because I'm like 99% sure I'm blocked. Not sure why? Never interacted with him in my life aside from rebloging that post. Doesn't matter at the end of the day.

I'll reblog it just so the few people following here who may not have seen the explanation see it can read it and form their own opinions.

Kinda long post bc it's an oc ramble so 90% of it is under the cut but,,, thinking abt Meatbag and Ella and how I DESPRATELY need to write a story about the two or show them through short comics because like...

The slow learning process that both of them go through while Meatbag thinks that Ella's the only one being helped. Ella's improvement at a surface level is being taught basic concepts and learning how to be human by being treated as such. However, living with Meatbag is also teaching her that not all physical contact is/needs to be violent. Not every outreached hand is going to grab her neck or slash her face and not every person she touches is food or a destructible toy, she's not only learning how to be 'human' in the "common sense and 'normal behavior" sense but how to be human to another living thing after a life of nothing but torture and agony. Meatbag is being helped by Ella because he's also learning how to be close and intimate with another person without seeing it as being something inherently extremely sexual. He had zero friends while he was human and was unknowingly isolated by his toxic relationship with Veronica to the point he still wanted to be 'with her' despite the extreme red flags making him bail from being in an actual relationship. He doesn't know how to touch someone's hand without leading it up with something more nor that someone would want to hold him without wanting a favour from him. basically Ella's learning how to care and Meatbag's learning how to receive care and I think that's sweet. Fucked up lil guys learning how to recover from the mental damage their abusers gave them
