hello love :) I’ve been well, a bit stress and my anxiety is increasing, but I’m doing well. I’m finished with finals but I have a Model United Nations conference on Friday and Saturday so I’ll be busy preparing for that. On top of that I have a school concert coming up as well since I’m in piano orchestra. I’ll try to take better care of my health. Thank you for worrying love:)

“Take responsibility noona” Jungkook whined as Jisoo rolled her eyes.

“No. Do it your own self. It’s not like you’re sick, or not able, you’re literally just lazy” “That counts!” “No it doesn’t.”

“Fine. But if I can’t get the job of my dreams because I couldn’t finish a stupid require art course, I’m blaming you. You and only you” “Jungkook..” “Noona. You’re an art student. Come onn”

Jisoo had half a mind to just hang up on him but she couldn’t help but let out a sigh of defeat. He’s too cute to say no to anyways.

“Of course I’ll make time for you..what time should I come over?” “Really? You just saved me from working as a future janitor or something-” “Don’t exaggerate you big baby. Now where should I-” “Don’t worry about it. I’ll pick you up and treat you to a nice lunch because you’re the best noon ever” Jungkook said as Jisoo heard the twinkle of him picking up the keys to his truck (why a truck, she doesn’t quite know), and got off her bed to look for something nice to wear.

It’s not that she liked him of course.

He’s too complicated to like: he’s two years younger than her and he’s the brother of one of her closest guy friends.

Therefore, it’s been easier to just shut off her feelings completely..but he’s too hard to resist. Constantly trying to facetime her at night for no other reason than to “see her face” and his little quips that most people can’t see from his whole “cold” guy image, was something that she considered a privilege.

BUT HE WAS STILL TAEHYUNG’S YOUNGER BROTHER WHICH KIND OF SERVED AS A HUGE OBSTACLE-

Jisoo’s thoughts get interrupted as the small ping of an incoming text resounds within the room.

Come down.

As Jisoo straightened her hair one more time and quickly sprayed on Bath and Body Works Cherry Blossom perfume, she grabbed her wallet and ran down the stairs.

“Hello mom” Jungkook said with a bright smile as Jisoo entered the truck.

Oh right. He calls her mom. Something of an ongoing joke because she’s always taking care of him but..did that mean he only saw her as a family figure? It doesn’t matter anyways. Not like he ever liked me in the first place.. Jisoo thought dejectedly.

Shaking her head to get rid of such useless thoughts, she asked “Why are we eating out if you needed help with your art assignment?”

“Ummm because my pretty and deserving noona deserves to be spoiled once in a while?” “That’s not a real answer” Jisoo laughed as Jungkook let out a cheeky smile.

“Well let’s just say that I’m extremely hungry and I can’t think without food in my stomach okay?” --

Jisoo marveled at the entrance to the pretty cafe as Jungkook led her to an open table and picked up a menu for her.

“Ummm I guess I’ll have a salad with-” “Nope. She’ll be having the turkey sandwich with fries on the side and I’ll have a BLT, also with fries on the side” Jungkook answered bluntly as the waitress gawked at him.

Jisoo studied his face from across the table and agreed with the waitress; he really was handsome.

The curve of his cheeks to his jaw.. Those charismatic eyes.. His whole vibe was just so.. Appealing.

“Will that be it?” the waitress squeaked with flush cheeks.

“Yeah that’s all” Jungkook dismissed her.

“Why’d you order for me?” Jisoo asked as she gathered her thoughts together.

Jungkook rolled his eyes as he sipped his water and replied, “Because you’re trying to lose weight when you have no weight to lose. I know you’ve been wanting the sandwiches here because we talked about them like..a month ago?” Suddenly, Jungkook reached out and grabbed her wrist that was laying across the table. “If anything, I think you need to GAIN weight. Look at how tiny you are” he let out an infamous pout.

“Yah. Maybe I’m tiny because I’m short” Jisoo huffed as she gently threw her wrist back, the hand that he touched, still burning against her skin.

“Oh right. You’re literally a kid.” “I’m older than you. If anything you’re the baby in this relationship!” Jisoo exclaimed as Jungkook’s eyes widened.

“..relationship?” “Well...yeah. I mean..obviously between dongsang and noona-” she stuttered as she tried to cover up her tracks. “I like you”

Jisoo stayed mum as she looked at Jungkook over the table and saw his cheeks turning into a hue of red.

“I just. I-”

“Are you being serious?” Jisoo asked quietly.

“Well.. okay so. I have to confess something.” Is he going to say that this was just a joke. What else does he have to ‘confess’ Jisoo panicked.

“I already finished my art assignment.”

“Wait what?” Jisoo asked, extremely flustered.

Although he was still blushing, Jungkook let out a shy smile and leaned forward to flick her gently on the forehead.

“Don’t look so stressed or in shock; hear me out”

Jisoo nodded and allowed him to trace his fingers down her forehead, to her arms, and laid his hands over hers.

“I finished my art assignment already. I just asked you for help as an excuse to hang out. That and you seemed stressed from Art Center so I wanted you to have a break.”

“I-” “Let me finish before I lose the nerve please” he whined and that cute action in itself brought her to giggle, which helped ease the tension in that tiny booth.

“When I had that thought..I had to think about why I wanted to do that for you. And I realized that it was because..I genuinely care about you. And yes, I know what you’re going to say.” Jungkook interrupted as soon as a Jisoo opened her mouth.

“I know..this is going to be complicated because I’m younger, but honestly...look at me. I’m a man” he said as he flexed his right arm to which she let out an obvious, and probably unattractive snort.

“I.am. a. Man.” “Okayokay” Jisoo conceded.

“Well..I’m younger and I also met you first as Taehyung hyung’s friend, but honestly, if you guys were as close as he claims that you guys are, he’ll accept us” he said looking into her eyes which were gleaming with sincerity. As his thumb gently rubbed over the back of her hand, Jisoo couldn’t help but realize herself, just how happy he made him.

“So..can we take a chance” he asked tentatively.

Jisoo pulled out her hand and instead linked her fingers with his and let out a shy, hopeful smile.

I’ve been sitting in my chair for the past 6-7 hours writing my papers and I’m exhausted from the average amount of sleep being 45 mins for the past 3 days:/ Anyway Because I have my finals week next week, I won’t be able to post anything, but after finals week I will have a schedule of what is posted for each day for you guys:)
