No thoughts. Just Clive being the only one up in the cloud house to hear Jason’s nightmare… Clive goes in, comforts Jason and ends up sleeping in the same bed as him so that he doesn’t have to face them alone.

Honestly, probably one of my favorite Karmic Doom headcanons/ scenarios/ AUs. Does anybody want to share theirs?

Omega Jason who knows absolutely none of the social etiquette surrounding secondary genders (because you only become an alpha or omega when you have essences). Alpha Clive who does but doesn’t really pay attention or care.

Clive casually scent marking Jason ALL. THE. TIME. Like “he is mine.” Even when he dates Cassandra. It’s strong, almost offensively so, but Clive does most of it subconsciously.

One time Cassandra brings it up and Jason gets really confused. She doesn’t quite explain the context behind it and Jason’s like “well, we’re friends and spend a lot of time together so isn’t it natural???”

Farrah comes SO CLOSE to it one day, but is stopped by Gary who has a bet with Rufus to see when Jason will figure out that something is wrong.

Theory that when Farrah says this (below) she is actually talking about Clive (not Zara)

The conversation beforehand, the only real interaction Zara and Jason have is flirting. Zara brushes her hand along Jason’s. Meanwhile, him and Clive are awkwardly sniping at each other the entire meeting.

In the first pic, Clive makes fun of how long Jason’s been away (a sore spot for him) and Jason is kind of vicious with the ‘Did your wife come up with it?’

Second picture, Jason kind of ignores what Clive says.

Third picture, Jason essentially dismisses what Clive says and brings back the “pushing against authorities” that Clive mentioned earlier.

Afterwards, Farrah continues to warn Jason to knock it off and that nothing good will come with pissing off Clive while flirting with the beautiful blue-haired Celestine. Of course, Jason doesn’t listen.

Reading my own fanfiction is basically just a rollercoaster of emotional whiplash.

20% of the time: “Hold on. I wrote this? This is fire. This is emotionally devastating in the best way. This scene is dripping with tension. I’m a literary perfectionist. Someone give me a book deal.”

80% of the time: “Straight to jail. Immediate prison. Why is everyone’s breath hitching?. I used the word ‘gaze’ three times in one paragraph like I was possessed. Did I think 'his eyes darkened' was profound? Why is everyone clenching their jaws? Why is someone whispering 'their name like a prayer' again?? No one talks like this. What is this dialogue. Why are there so many weird metaphors and em-dashes…”
