Now that he was closer, he could see just how ill the young idol really was. "Don't you worry about it. We're gonna move nice and slow, alright?"

Scanning their surroundings, he deemed the best course of action to be helping the guy along to the hallway everyone else had disappeared down, then getting him settled in the first staff room they passed by. It probably wouldn't be the same room his members had gone into, but the guy didn't seem like he would stay standing long enough to make it to anything other than the closest room.

"Just take little baby steps…" He kept his hands on the unfortunate man's shoulders, letting him lean on Yamato as much as he needed to as he slowly shuffled along.

Had Souma been able to think clearly, he would have been immediately apologizing to the poor man for having to meet Souma like this. Unfortunately, as it stands, Souma has to put all his focus and energy into not losing consciousness entirely. Even though his head is swimming, body heavy like lead, he manages to not collapse on the floor entirely thanks to the other’s support.

He only barely manages to hear the person’s question, all sounds warped as if they’re underwater. God, he really isn’t feeling well.

“Y-Yes, please,” he manages to stutter out, lifting his head just enough to see what’s in front of him. “M’ so sorry… sir…”

Work that day had been rough, but not unbearable. Thankfully the director he'd had a meeting with today wasn't one of his father's acquaintances, though he still had to deal with their empty flattery as if impressing him would impress his father in turn. A bit annoying, but he was used to it by now. Still, he was thankful when the meeting drew to a close.

Some of the younger members still had work in the building though, so their manager wouldn't be driving Yamato home anytime soon. He could call a cab, but well, what kind of Onii-san would he be if he didn't congratulate his kids on a job well done after a hard day's work? So he stayed behind to watch over them, only mildly curious about the other idol group that was part of the interview.

When the interview finally wrapped up, he pushed off the wall he'd been watching over it from with the intention of following his members as they exited the set and headed back stage. That plan was waylaid however, when he noticed one of the other group's members lagging behind the rest of his group. Though he didn't consider himself one to meddle in the affairs of strangers, the poor guy looked like he was about to collapse… And collapse he did, right on Yamato when he approached him to ask if he needed anything.

"Uh-oh." He put his hands on the young man's shoulders to steady him. "Need some help getting somewhere to sit down?"

Trained to be a devoted samurai, Souma is someone who is not easily deterred— for better or worse, he is a stubborn person. Regardless of the task, he puts his whole heart and soul into it... even when he’s feeling a little under the weather. Unfortunately for him, his schedule today is too busy for him to even sit down to rest.

His head is already aching by the time he gets to his first job of the day, though he powers through the hours, even when the flashing camera lights only make things worse. By the time he’s at his last job of the day— a collaboration with idols from another company— Souma feels like he could drop dead any moment. Even so, he keeps his head up and back straight, smiling for the cameras and answering questions from an interviewer.

Only when the cameras are off does Souma allow himself to relax, shoulders sagging as the last bit of energy leaves his body. He still needs to make it back to the ES dorms, but it looks like he’s at his physical limit. Before he can even understand what’s happening, he vaguely feels himself tilting to the side until he’s slumped against someone else.
