Love this scene! As she’s sharpening her knife, I kept thinking ‘OMG, is she gonna kill him? or they just make her sharpens the knife dramatically to cut him loose?’
I find this very moment of her to be very attractive. Every bit of feelings and confusion are all shown on her face as she slowly recognized that she would be better off without Joe. Victoria did an amazing job acting this scene, it felt powerful. Love was such an adorable psycho/murderer in this scene that I just can’t not root for her.
Truthfully, going into Season 4 with her being the main antagonist would be an interesting change from Joe’s.
I love this hairstyle the most for her out of all the other ones this season. It just frames her beautifully and she just looks adorable.
I just wish that if they were gonna end her life/arc in season 3 that she would be more evil/crazy/psychotic than what we’ve seen. I was really hoping that she would be able to predict Joe like how Joe predicted Love and survive all that lethal injection/burning house, so that she can come back in Season 4 to hunt him down. I, personally, prefer that option.
If this show is gonna be chaotic, make it chaotic. A cat and mouse game would still give the audience a mystery/thriller feeling. Joe continue with his obsession in finding Marienne and Love watches him from afar to plan her next moves. Who wouldn’t want that?
I need want an Angelica Huston’s Morticia X Alcina Dimitrescu crossover. I remember someone posting a prompt saying the Dimitrescu’s ad Addams would make great friends but i want morticia and alcina treating each other like the queens they believe each other to be ! Imagine how loving and encouraging morticia would be of the girls! Especially when she sees dani running after her sister with a little knife and she stops her and says “ is that for your sisters, dear ? That just wont do” and hands her a new shiny sickle.
Her and alcina lounging drinking their favourite sanguis virginis because morticia woukd just fucking love that AND THEY DONT NEED TO WORRY ABOUT MUDDYING LIPSTICKS BECAUSE THEY WEAR THE SAME SHADE
As a writer, myself, not only do I like comments that shows how the readers are into it and how it makes them feel, I also like to interact with them. They tell me how they feel or what they think is going to happen, and I’ll reply with a thought of my own or just be trolly with my answers to throw them on a different route.
I’d also like any analysis that the readers made regarding certain characters or scenario. I love it if they treat me as a friend in their comments and talk to me like we’re both reading this fanfic. I like it if they are immersive or super confident that they were able to predict what has happened.
Regular comments are always welcome, but sometimes it doesn’t tell us writer if we’re actually hitting the story right, if that make sense.
What do you as a writer (and other writers if you know) like to see in comments? Like what do you like to see praised or something like that? I always want to comment of fic I read but I can never put my thoughts on it into words and I feel like knowing what authors might want to hear may help me
I feel like this may be a somewhat strange question so apologies if it is.
Honestly, anything is great, even if it's something as simple as "I love this!" or "Awesome!".
Something I personally like to see (and I try to do this when I comment too) is when someone quotes certain lines or parts they really liked and tell me why they liked it. That always makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. Same when someone details how the fic made them feel emotionally ("This was great! When Character A did XYZ, I felt my heart pounding in my chest." or something like that).
But truthfully, even the absolute smallest of comments will put a massive smile on my face, and most writers will say the same thing. We love if you want to leave a huge, long, rambling keysmash of a comment, and we love if you want to just leave heart emojis as a comment.
♥️ I promise, no matter what you decide to comment (unless it's hateful or unsolicited criticism) will make a writer smile.
