#21st Nov 2014 Since 2007âs one-two punch of There Will Be Blood and No Country For Old Men#avoiding Indians#bandits and lawmen whilst taking care of three loony ladies. So the story sound super strong and the talent behind the camera is big (Jones#besides Swank and Jones youâve got Miranda Otto#both No Country and TWBB have moments of levity#but heâs also behind the camera for The Homesman too#but The Homesman seems poised to try itâs best to break that dry spell. Considering the wealth of perfectly poised traits that go into the#but what about the story? Starting the trailer on the back of a horse#Hailee Steinfeld#he owes his life to her and there is a mighty big task she has set out for him. Her town has been plagued with madness and husbands can no l#Hilary Swank#itâs no wonder that any newcomers wondering into these lands would have trouble achieving the same results as two (three? Do the Coens cou#James Spader#Jesse Plemons#John Lithgow#Meryl Streep and Hailee Steinfeld. Huge! 5 out of 5.#misfire Django Unchained. The tone too is incredibly important#needs to be pitch perfect. Too slow and you end up in the snoozefest doldrums of Meeks Cutoff#noose round his neck Jonesâs George Briggs is half dead and rambling to himself when in strolls Hilary Swankâs . âAre you an angel?â#on one condition#shortly before she saves him#so good#surely having watched the masterly Coens at work will have rubbed off on him. So, who enjoyed #GuardiansoftheGalaxy the? Here to disagree with you heavily is our latest review!
Guardians of the Galaxy is not necessarily a total failure – it’s just a film doomed to wade in the larger narrative ambitions of it’s parent company and as such feels like an inconsequential piece of filmmaking.
