      Have you ever wondered what life was like for a HEALING GEM that fought in the Rebellion for Earth?  Even though Black Star is considered a defect for her gem caste, she’s proud to come out the way she did and wouldn’t change it for the world!  She’s a runt that is simply seeking acceptance and friendship among her fellow gems and other organic lifeforms!  Not to mention, she simply LOVES Earth!  It is where she came from, after all!

pearlapis gemlings litter one

the last of my gemlings....... for now. pearl was the carrier, lapis was the sire.

Julia - the older of the two, a lapis lazuli with white markings and a white streak in her hair. loves the sun and the sea and teasing her little sister. in a relationship with lily (jaspidot gemling)

Diana - the younger one, a pearl with a few blue stripes. a swordsman like her mother, has no sense of humor according to julia. smart, but withdrawn.

lapithyst gemlings litter one

side note: pearl, lapis, and amethyst are all mates/lovers/etc in my au, they’re a lovely poly trio (that sometimes includes garnet)

these are my lapithyst babies, amethyst carried them and they’re two years younger than the pearlmethyst babies

Storm: a bluish-purple colored Iolite (fusion between lapis and amethyst) gemling with deep blue eyes and fluffy blue hair. very quiet and doesn’t talk much. has a lapis gem on her back and an amethyst gem on her shoulder.

Juniper: an amethyst. small but in charge. blue-violet colored with fluffy white hair. gem on her collarbone.

Blue: a lapis lazuli with golden freckles. short but taller than juniper and amethyst. outgoing and wild, has her gem on her chest

Violet - the oldest and most rambunctious of the four, an amethyst with white markings. she has scruffy purple hair and a circular gem on her collarbone.

Sunny - violet’s “second in command”, always by her sister’s side. she’s a mauve pearl, and looks more like pearl (her sire). she has fluffy white hair and a gem shaped like amethyst’s on her chest.

Kira - the smallest of the bunch, she’s a runt amethyst like her mom. smart and quick thinking. chubby with fluffy purple hair and white markings.

Heather - the youngest and biggest of the group, an amethyst. she has long fluffy purple hair that covers her eyes and goes well down her back. laid back and chill.

i have all kinds of gemlings lol but i honestly have no idea why jasper is so popular, both as a carrier and a sire

also there is a good bit of lapidot egg hell if you look for it. i don’t because i can’t stand that ship

quick question why is gem egg hell so popular with jasper fans and not like… anyone else

I understand the appeal but I decided to do a search and basically all of the blogs were either jasper or specifically jaspidot and MAYBE jaspis or homeworld ot3

why are there no like…. amedot or lapidot egg hells or rupphire or polygem or really any other 2+ gems without jasper egg hells. why is this so specific to the jasper fandom. I don’t know if it’s about how particularly “adult” the jasper fandom is because I have seen fic and art that gloss over that aspect of it and it’s just pregnancy and babies. did we all just look at jasper and decide that she would have the cutest offspring out of all the gems?
