he is soo amazing.... I don't care about Amy Pond or eleventh doctor

imagine an episode where the new doctor lands in his hospital and his companion are not with them - gone to visit their parents or something

aliens are infiltrating the place, and the doctor has to thwart their plans

Rory helps the doctor just thinking it's one of the weird patients that's it - he doesn't think it's the doctor because he already has one of them at home and isn't expecting another regeneration

the doctor is saving the day while not trying to do anything drastic to alert Rory ... just excited they are meeting Rory the roman again

Rory just thinks that this patient has a crush on him and doesn't know what to do. He minds his own business trying to do his job unknowingly saves the day and goes back home because he fucking loves his wife who is probably in the garden having girl time with their daughter river

or alternate ending Rory knows its a version of the doctor and doesn't say anything just gives a silent nod

review of the current era

Do i know what the companion's motivation are - like what do they want in life, what are they searching for??? NO

we don't get much characterization from ruby all we know she wants to find her mother and the doctor is her bestest friend in the world immediately like dude why aren't u suspicious of this guy

And Belinda just went from wanting to just go home and being so done with the doctor to him being the best thing ever happened to her. Belinda was also robbed in s2 as we got more characterization from ruby than her even in the finale - ruby was more the focus than Belinda

don't even get me started on she just a mother thing with Belinda and see the signs

Do we know the doctor's underlying feelings??? NO

The tenth doctor was built on the grief of losing Rose Tyler and still recovering from the time war cause that trauma doesn't go away so easily - we get the time lord victorious arc

the eleventh doctor was all about running from his death as he believed it was his last regeneration and didn't accept it until the very end

twelfths arc whether he is a good man after living for millennia

but what do we get from the fifteenth doctor all we know is he runs around energetically and proclaims his love for everyone we don't know the underlying character he has - is he running away from something or is he running towards it like idk

i was never this disinterested in a regeneration :((
