hi im the one who asked the 1st house synastry question!! you said that 1st house influence in synastry (who feels it more/first etc) is determined by the sign. what if it's virgo? virgo's not very go-getter the way fire signs can be or intense the way water signs can be. what would be the influence of this?

Regardless of whether the approach is go-getter or intense, the first house is the person’s doorway. If it’s receiving an action planet like Mars, and the ascendant is in Virgo, it will be more reserved. Of course, it depends on the ascendant person’s own Mars, but if someone’s Mars in Virgo falls in your first house, especially in a romantic synastry, they will express their passion. A Mars in Virgo person would act, for example, by offering to help with small things in your day-to-day life, observing you closely, and making comments that most people wouldn’t bother to notice. They would flirt the way a Virgo would. The ascendant person would feel more because they are the one receiving the planet, but the Mars person would probably act first.

Hi.

Synastry in the first house can be quite reciprocal if both parties are interested, so there is not one person who feels it more exactly. What can happen is that the planet person shows more and initiates interaction. The planet person is more likely to feel and pursue first, especially with Mars here, the closer to the ascendant the stronger it would be noticed, but the ascendant person would also feel strongly even if they do not show it in the same way. I personally prefer to be the ascendant person because I can open up faster to the planet person, of course, it depends on the sign here.
