🌟I don't care what y'all say about Venus in the 6th house loving order and organisation. I see these people love orderly chaos and aesthetic cluttercore. They embrace curated mess and love imperfectly organised spaces. They love having vintage things, trinkets, crystals on their desk.

⭐️Taurus Mercury is a sensory thinker. They often get flashes of knowing or information while cooking, walking, creating or just being. They also remember things in sensory flashes, like the smell of the room where the breakup happened, the tone someone used that made you trust them, what something felt like in your gut. They dislike being rushed into an opinion (lol Kanye West), but then casually drop a truth bomb.

🌟Venus in the 6th house has a secret love of miniatures, such as tiny animals, pocket-sized art, tiny plushies.

⭐️Gemini over the 7th house, you guys, attract people who bring out two sides of you. And you definitely are not the type who can make "opposites attract" work. You truly require someone who is similar to you and your temperament, identity, personality.

🌟Venus in the 6th house can be attracted to somewhat overlooked or humble people, they romanticize the unseen (opposite 12th house). They like a barista, the librarian, the lab tech, anyone quietly doing their work.

⭐️Sagittarius Risings attract significant others that play multiple roles (partner, friend, teacher, critic) or they are into multiple fields (engineer who is also an artist, teacher who is also a poet). In extreme cases, you can have someone who live a double life or just often reinvents themselves.

🌟Libra Mercury often thinks in opposite ways. When they say I'm confused, it's actually when they know too much.

⭐️Gemini over the 7th house are so cerebral in a connection, that they only know how they feel once they say it out loud or write it down. You might also end up with a partner who has a twin or a sibling who looks just like your partner. In some cases, the people you commit to will change dramatically over time. On a positive side, they can show you how to be flexible, youthful and curious in ways you forgot.

🌟Aries Moons grew up in an environment where they had to self-soothe fast, fight for attention or be emotionally independent way too early. They yearn for someone to be there for them without them needing to earn it.

⭐️Also, they are actually veryy vulnerable, but randomly and in bursts, they are vulnerable with you when you least expect it. And often end up regretting it right after. You might also test people with anger, distance or sarcasm BEFORE opening up. You often have the feeling that if you show you need something, you lose power. Also, I'm sad to say it, but you guys only heal when you are alone.

🌟Gemini Descendant, you guys have a partner that is mentally quick, but emotionally inconsistent. They might randomly emotionally detach or check out.

⭐️Sun in the 6th house give such "alpha behind the curtain" vibe. They are just quietly running things behind the scenes and hold everything together due to how consistent and competent they are. You guys might lead without anyone realizing you're leading.

🌟Sun at an Aries degree (1, 13, 25) are prone to have thin hair.

⭐️ I have to say it again, that Cancer Suns are not soft caretakers. They don’t give love freely, only when you actually earned it. They also often deal with mother’s sacrificed dreams or mother’s grief, because she didn’t fulfill her dreams.

🌟 Virgo Mars has a rage that always come across as calculated rage. They time well, when they will reveal their anger for you. Don’t get fooled that it’s random. They just withdraw their energy, stop fixing your mess and use their disorganization against them.

🏠Mundane Natal Astrology: Planets in Houses as Daily Behavior 🛋️

Note: These are all my personal observations and patterns I've noticed over the years. Take what resonates with you more and leave the rest. Lemme know in the comments if it hits home! A single placement or aspect isn't enough to conclude and the whole chart has to be analyzed!

Venus in 1st -> These natives always check the mirror before leaving any room. Can mimic others' tone and body language naturally. Can be photogenic. Would feel “off” if they don’t like their look that day. Usually better treated in public or in customer service than their friends.

Mars in 2nd -> Seriously, these natives works better when they’re a little pissed off or under pressure. They dislike it when people touch them (even their peers/ family) or move their belongings without permission. Can get impatient waiting for paychecks or deliveries. Less likely to share their food with others. Less likely to lend things easily to others. They would rather throw it away.

Sun in 3rd -> Corrects the grammar usage of others. Takes pride in “knowing things” before others like news, facts, trivia, and movies. Repeats jokes louder if no one laughed the first time. Gives people nicknames instantly and uses them like they’ve been friends for years. These natives have at least one go-to story they’ve told a dozen times with perfect delivery. Will correct others' proNunCiaTion under their breath if it’s wrong.

Moon in 4th -> Cooks or cleans when emotionally overwhelmed like resetting their furniture or wardrobe. These natives have playlists they loop hard when they're doing chores. Hate when people sit in their “spot” at home, even if it’s just the end of the couch. They’ll randomly hum the same song a family member was just thinking about or say the same thing at the same time without meaning to.

Saturn in 5th -> These natives avoid karaoke, dancing, or anything that makes them look silly in public. Natives would abandon their hobby if they weren't immediately good at it. Plays to win even in board games. They get visibly annoyed if their friends don't take a game seriously. They won't get along with overly playful people. For example: If they're playing Monopoly with their friends, they make sure people are followin' the rules exactly.

Mercury in 6th -> These natives Google symptoms immediately, even if it's just a headache or stomach pain. They might keep a diary/ notepad to note things down like phone numbers, addresses, etc. These natives are very good at finding small errors/ mistakes others make. They're always the one who catches the professor’s typo or the boss’s small mistake in a document. Has strong opinions about pens, mobile phones, and gadgets. Makes their own cheat sheets just for peace of mind, even when they don’t use them.

Jupiter in 7th -> These natives would give long answers or more than one answer to a simple question or during arguments. They can't stand narrow-minded people or people who are pessimistic. These natives somehow end up talking to strangers in checkout lines or elevators. Overshares if they like someone. More likely to buy expensive gifts or things that are way too big to show their love. One can expect a sink full of dishes after they make a quick meal.

Uranus in 8th -> These natives can get obsessed with documentaries about cults, serial killers, aliens/ UFOs, or bizarre crimes. They use words like, "Not to sound crazy/ weird but....." at least once a week. Out of boredom, these natives would look up people’s net worth, criminal records, or family history just out of curiosity. Would never share their password for streaming, even with their own family, and are less likely to have joint accounts with their spouse. Watches absurd things, UFO stuff, occult documentaries, etc, while eating dinner.

Neptune in 9th -> These natives zone out in classrooms, meetings, etc. These natives can develop a "weird connection" to a place/ country they never visited b4 and would think they had a past life there. For example, someone living in California feels a connection to Egypt. More likely to fall for fake quotes, toxic positivity, MLMs, or inspirational videos when young. Will impulsively sign up for a class or course because the title felt “right,” then drop out within weeks.

Pluto in 10th -> These natives delete or hide old posts, or photos that don’t “match” who they are now. Keeps a tight grip on what personal info people know about them. More likely to keep their phone brightness low in public. More likely to browse incognito, even for normal things. They always sit where they can see the whole room and their backs never face the door. They delete chats/ messages after reading them if they feel unnecessary or too revealing.

Saturn Rx in 11th -> These natives might hesitate to post on social media. Canel plans last-minute. Feels uncomfortable around people who are super loud, overly fun, or touchy in friend settings. Seriously, they will take the long way home just to avoid walking by a group of people they kind of know. They stare at textboxes for long minutes before deciding not to reply at all.

Jupiter Rx in 12th -> These natives hoard screenshots of quotes, threads, or spiritual advice they never look at again. These are the kind of people who start writing a journal, write 3 deep pages, then forget it in a drawer for 6 months. Also, they zone out while doing dishes and imagine writing a book they’ll never start. Would say they’re “not religious” but low-key gets spooked if at night after watching a horror movie or prays to God just in case a ghost shows up.

Uranus Rx in 1st -> These natives adjust their expression in mirrors to see which version looks most “acceptable” for today. They sit in corners or far edges of rooms instinctively. When shopping, these natives avoid busy aisles or wait for people to move instead of squeezing past, as they don’t like being “in the way.” Can repeat outfits even if they have a lot to wear. Buys one random item in bulk “just in case.”

❦ those who fall under the parental archetype, the mother, are usually the most creative and trend-setters.

❦ most huntress archetype [parental archetype] people i have done a venus chart reading for, are usually scorpio ascendants, or have a scorpio axis in their natal/venus charts.

❦ the child archetypes under the huntress, the bohemian and coquette are the msot similar archetypes. women who are coquettes when they're younger usually transition into being a bohemian when they're more mature in age. doesnt happen all the time, but i've see the patterns, rihanna being one of them.

❦ the siren archetype isnt always someone who is sultry and mysterious, it can also be someone who is bubbly and giddy, a good example is sabrina carpenter, a person who is likely a siren archetype.

❦ people who belong to the gamine archetype usually attract people who are very mysterious.

🕊 empress/queen archetype women are very obsessed over, and they're people others want to comepte with all the time.

🕊 queen archetypes are also people who care about friendships/their connections with other people the most.

🕊 like the bohemian and the coquette. the lady and the boss are similar as well, however the boss actually stands on business with what they want in life, friendships and romantic connections.

🕊 just because you're the maiden archetype it doesnt mean you're naive and a damsel in distress. but people might have the need to baby you guys all the time, a good example is sunday kalogeras or halle bailey.

🕊 the difference between the goddess and the enigma is that the goddess is like the sun and the enigma is the moon. people find it really hard to read the enigma no matter how many times they put themselves out there.

❦ i also think the mystic archetype is one of the most or if not the most graceful and laid back archetype. compared to the rest of them its likely the least insecure one. they dont need to compete with other people, they know they're the shit!

❦ compared to most archetypes ive read for, the diva archetype sometimes to rely on male validation.

❦ SOMETIMES people under the huntress archetype [specicially coquette] try and come off as too different sometimes that it makes them appear as a try hard.

❦ and i noticed people who are under the goddess archetype are usually the best with the y2k aesthetic.

❦ sage archetype sometimes perceive love as weakness but forget that can also be someone's strongest trait.

Time for me to read Anton's chart too. I know this is late but happy birthday to Anton and sorry for making everyone wait this long.

Small Note: He was on a Japanese fortune teller show where his chart was revealed and I calculated his rising sign using that but could only estimate his birth time. This reading will use that estimate instead and be in whole sign system.

Anton's chart surprised me a lot. I never expected him to be so martian all while being ruled by a gemini mars too but after reading his chart while looking at his life it started to make more sense. He also has a night chart so his moon is more active in his chart. Overall he's very ambitious, hard-working and also has great leadership qualities. Although his chart gives off very fiery, restless and impulsive energy, he can calm himself down and carefully think his way through things since he's also born at night.

Scorpio Rising:

Very mysterious, attractive, and magnetic placement almost in a intimidating way. As a scorpio rising, Anton leads his life in a very 'all or nothing' manner. He's quite loyal, reserved and can have a intense presence. He can be easily distrustful of people so he doesn't become friends with people as easily; you'd really have to prove that you're a friend to him or that you'd be loyal to him before he decides to have you as a part of his life. He's also a very resilient person since having a scorpio rising is an indicator of that as well as living a tough life. We probably can't tell since most of us see him on screen, but his stare would be very piercing and intense to look at in real life. Also an indicator of having a strong, sharp jawline. I did try to find more info on his personality that I could use as astrological evidence and wasn’t really surprised when I couldn’t find much on him but I guess that itself is evidence of him being a scorpio rising since they’re known to be private and hidden (or maybe I'm just bad at research).

Chart Ruler in 8H:

As if scorpio rising wasn't, Anton also has his chart ruler in 8H like Eunseok but unlike Eunseok, his chart ruler is mars. He's introverted, mysterious and secretive of course. He also may have made a major life decision which completely transformed his life and shifted his path while he was still young (becoming an idol for example). Indicator of someone who had to experience a lot of hardships early in life. Inheritance will play a major role in his life (he also comes from a wealthy family so this checks out). Much like Eunseok, even the ones closest to him won't get to know him fully.

Gemini Mars in 8H:

Anton is resourceful and intelligent at talking his way out of problems. He can be a very restless and impatient individual (also considering his aries stellium). He'd be great at any games or sports that require quick thinking and body-eye coordination (he used to be a swimmer before he was an idol). Also an indicator of having strong hands/arms or strong lungs. Similar to Eunseok even though they're opposite signs, he may enjoy lighthearted debates but for different reasons. For Eunseok, it's more about his personal beliefs and for Anton it's more about presenting the right information and facts. He may also enjoy word games. Good at multi-tasking; he's able to work on and focus on multiple passions simultaneously. He's also a very strong-willed and mentally strong individual (8H mars) and can recover quickly from painful situations to get back on track. An indicator of being good at managing crisis too. He's able to hide his anger well too, making him unpredictable when angry. That Japanese astrologer said he has a hidden masculine side to him well this placement is actually the indicator for it.

Aries Sun in 6H:

He's self-assured/confident, brave and ambitious. He'd also be well respected in his work-place. He also has sun sextile mars so he’s very energetic and can work twice as much as the average person. Also an indicator of being very ambitious. 6H rules competitors & rivals too so his sun being here means that he's almost naturally able to win against people and overcome daily problems easily. He's got good leadership qualities. He has good hygiene, health and also has the discipline to maintain it. Has great work ethic too and is extremely skilled at what he does; not one to do a half-assed job.

Aries Moon in 6H:

Strong survival instinct. Anton is very independent, passionate and ambitious. He’s a very playful person from the inside but can have some trouble getting that out. He’s got good leadership qualities as mentioned before and is quite enthusiastic and strong willed but can have issues expressing it properly where it’s like he can’t really assert himself without needing the right push and encouragement. I think he got it now though as we see him take the lead more often than before. He has a moon-mercury conjunction so he's also quite emotionally intelligent and is able to explain how he feels logically. This also makes him a well-liked person, to the point where even his haters can't deny his charm. He has moon sextile neptune, which indicates that he has vivid and rich imagination. Similar to Wonbin & Eunseok, Anton also has a 6H moon, but his health isn't as sensitive as theirs since it's in aries and he also has mercury and sun in the same house. This is also an indicator of being a hard-worker & highly perfectionist person (sorry forgot to put it in the last 2 readings). I’m starting to think that 6H moons might be an indicator for artists/idols because up till now all 3 readings of the members had 6H moon which feels like a crazy coincidence.

Aries Mercury in 6H:

Anton is very straightforward when communicating. This placement usually is talkative and talks very fast but Anton's chart leans on the private side, so I'll say he thinks very fast and can also be a fast & impulsive decision-maker but I do think he's the type to talk a lot online than in real life. He may have trouble with both talking too much and not talking enough like saying too much at the wrong times but then also not saying enough for others. He may also come off as argumentative or sassy at times. He has mercury-moon conjunction as mentioned earlier, this also makes him a very eloquent speaker and very soft spoken (as we all already know) since the moon softens anything it touches and mercury rules speech & voice. Can get nervous and shy when expressing his adventurous side. The only downside I see to this is that he can be quick to jump to conclusions and make rash decisions based on his emotions. He'd be very good at using his intellect to help others, efficient at problem-solving and getting out of problems by talking his way out (combined with gemini mars). Indicator of good, balanced health too. Anton has a really strong mars-mercury mutual reception so I also think he'd be really good at debates and arguments in general like I don't think you'd be able to win against this man easily.

Taurus Venus in 7H:

Probably the best venus placement right next to Wonbin's. Indicator of natural beauty and attractiveness. Has a sensual & luxurious look and vibe to him too. Also has good knowledge of aesthetics. Good placement for any kind of artist since it's also an indicator for having a natural artistic talent. Anton's relationships are peaceful and harmonious. He'd be a very loyal & stable partner. That fortune-teller also said he knows what women would like/want and this is the indicator of it because his venus (which rules women) is well-placed and doesn't seem to have any strong malefic aspects if you don't count outer planets and north node conjunction (if that counts as malefic). So he's easily able to attract people (attracts pretty people often too) to him. He's very cooperative and good at listening to others too. He'd be good at being diplomatic with people he doesn't like so he wouldn't make enemies very easily or just have one-sided enemy-ship lol. This is also maybe how other people view him, yk as a very peace-loving person. He can attract a lot of jealousy though. He has venus square neptune which can indicate that he may put his partner on a pedestal or have a blinded view on his relationships where even if the person is bad for him he can't really see the faults due to him liking the person. He'll have to learn it the hard way sadly. He can also have a blinded view on money; being an over spender for example. Definitely has high standards for partners & relationships too.

Virgo Jupiter in 11H:

His Jupiter is in detriment so he can have problems with being hopeful for things since he has a tendency to look at situations critically and realistically. Anton finds his hope and luck through his group and friends. This also means he can't be lied to easily, combined with his scorpio rising and 8H mars, he's good at analyzing things and also digging deeper to find out. If you want him to believe in something you'd have to give him good logical reasons. Fame and success indicator as it is in the 11H. He's able to find and become close with the right kind of people you know like people who can help him achieve his goals. Another sweet detail about his placement is that Anton finds his hope and luck through his group and friends.

Cancer Saturn in 9H:

He's likely afraid of being emotionally vulnerable. Again problems with having faith and believing and can be critical of religion/spirituality. Or he may be the opposite where he's very strict about religion. Anton may also have very strict morals. He could pursue a degree much later in life.

Uranus in 5H:

Anton's self-expression and creativity is very unique (almost in a strange way?) and could be hard to grasp for many people. We'll be see more of it when he makes solo music and he'd probably make music that would surprise many people. Like maybe a genre that we never expected him to do. He's also the type to rebel through his creative expression. Similar to Eunseok but not as strongly, he could be attracted to unique and weird people like weird in the sense that the people he likes/dates are so different from him that from our point of view it lowkey looks weird. He could have on-n-off or sudden relationships like he suddenly dates someone and suddenly breaks up. Also the type to be detached in dating.

Neptune in 4H:

I read that this is an indicator of someone who has no memory of their birth place as they got separated from their birth place when they were too young which fits well in Anton's case. He could have an idealistic view on family life and home like something very unrealistic and almost impossible to achieve. He also maybe puts his parents on a high pedestal too. Very secretive home life. This is good since he's an idol. His neptune and other outer planets aren't as prominent in his chart so it probably wouldn't affect him as much.

Pluto in 2H:

He might become obsessed with money and having financial stability and success. He can also have an obsessive spending habit and have strong desires to own many things at the same time. Pluto rules over major and drastic transformation so Anton's views on his self-worth and money can drastically change as he ages like he could start off as someone who's very materialistic and money-obsessed but then by the time when he hits like 30 he'd be super anti-materialistic.

He was fun to read for me since I don't usually see or read stelliums in a chart that often. I'm ngl I thought he was a leo rising only for leo to be his 10H instead. I'll update this reading if I learn anything new or find any interesting aspects.

Chiron in Aries ≠ Chiron in 1st House ≠ Chiron in Aspect to Mars: Three Ways Your Pain Speaks

Or: why Chiron in a sign, Chiron in a house, and Chiron aspecting a planet are very different, and why that matters. (tl;dr: We unintentionally flatten something incredibly tender and important into a single broad stroke, and that can hurt.)

I want to talk little about something I see a lot in astrology conversations and content: combining interpretations for a placement in a sign, a house and with an aspect. Specifically I want to talk about Chiron, because it is such a loaded -- and yet often overlooked -- placement.

These three things -- sign, house, aspect -- are three very different and crucially distinct flavors of pain. By collapsing them into one category you ask people to synthesize and integrate pain that might not be theirs.

Let's walk through each type of placement and talk about what they have to say about your Chiron and your wounds.

Chiron's Sign: The Story You Tell Yourself About Why It Hurts

This is the archetypal tone of your wound. It's the myth it wears in your mind. The character it portrays. The style of your ache.

Chiron in Aries might say: "I should be braver. I don't act. I'm too much."

Chiron in Virgo might whisper: "I'm not good enough to fix what I break. And I break everything."

This is what you believe the wound means, whether or not that belief holds true.

Chiron's House: Where It Shows Up In Your Life

This is the arena of lived experience where your wound tends to play out. It's not a psychological placement -- it's situational.

Chiron in the 1st House is an identity wound, an ache of being seen.

Chiron in the 4th House is a family wound, a private ache.

Chiron in the 10th house is a public wound, an ache of legacy.

Chiron in the 7th house is an intimacy wound, an ache in relationships and vulnerability.

The sign is the flavor; the house is the location.

Chiron's Aspects: What It Triggers In You

And yes, I mean "trigger" here in both the pop-culture sense and the clinical psychology sense. Aspects show what parts of you are entangled in this wound. Aspects to Chiron aren't where it lives, they're what it talks to.

The type of aspect is also important here. Conjuncts blend your wound in with an important function. Hard aspects (square, opposition) spread the pain to that planet. Soft aspects (trine, sextile) show where the wound might be beneficial in some way.

Chiron conjunct Mars: The wound tries to act or not act -- and it hurts.

Chiron conjunct Mercury: The wound tries to speak -- or it never could.

Chiron square Venus: Love is sharp, withheld, or clung to too hard.

Chiron trine Saturn: The wound became a tool. You're able to hold pain in a structured way and utilize it.

Aspects show circuitry: how pain moves through a chart, what it activates, what holds it, what resists it.

Why All of This Matters

Chiron is already a tender point in a chart and a person. It's already holding some elements of the 12th house -- it's murky, it's hard to name out loud, it's often erased. When we smash together sign + house + aspect into one interpretation, it over-generalizes the pain a person holds. We do a disservice to the specificity of the wound that Chiron holds.

Chiron deserves to be read with care and precision. It deserves to be witnessed in all its gory detail, because that's how you're forced to live it.

How to Read Your Chiron With Care

Sign: What narrative have I formed around my pain?

House: Where in my life does this pain keep reappearing?

Aspects: What other parts of me are affected and brought up when my pain rears its head?

Chiron doesn't ask for a quick fix, but it does ask to be understood and held with care.

Chiron doesn't ask for a solution. It asks to be seen.

In Greek mythology story has been told of a centaur being born to a father Kronos (Saturn) and mother nymph Philyra daughter of Oceanus and Tethys. Kronos deceived Philyra by turning himself into a horse, as she has changed herself into a mare, and as they mated, child was born into this union.

Chiron had body and legs of the horse, and torso and arms of a man, and as such abandoned by mother who was horrified when seeing him for the first time.

Found by shepherd and taken to Apollo the Sun God, who became his foster father who thought him, music, divination prophecy, poetry, healing, wisdom and justice. Apollo was known as paragon of youth, beauty, and offered divine protection against wild animals and diseases, where as his sister Artemis, has imparted the sacred knowledge of healing properties of plants.

Under the wing of Apollo, Chiron has grown into a wise man, prophet, physician, teacher and musician, and became mentor to many Greek heroes, including Achilles, Hercules and Asklepios teaching them, riding, archery, hunting, arts of war, medicine , ethics, religious rituals and beginnings of natural science.

The Medicine is in the Wound ⚷🩹

As per one of the anecdotes, Chiron becomes “Wounded Healer” when Hercules ends up in fight with centaurs, and one of the Hercules arrows that were imersed into poisones blood of monster Hydra, strucks Chiron (the immortal beast, which underworld of our own shadow side becomes if ignored or repressed, whos venom and blood Hercules used to dipp in the arrows).

Threfore, the wound represents the what is being repressed, and suffering caused by the venom of the Hydra emerges within ourselves.

Chiron getting a mortal wound, enabled him to remain alive, although in great suffering as being a demi-god, he was not able to end the suffering but stayed as a remainer for a long life.

Chiron started his journey, of own healing, developing appropriate life circumstancesk and spiritual practices.

Eventually, Chiron was relelased from centuries of pain and suffering while teaching others to his wisdom and healing journey, learning himself that wound can only be healed by it’s cause.

It is often our own suffering is “seen” by someone who can truly put himself or herself in our place, or vice versa, that transfeormation and release occurs.

I did one for Wonbin’s birthday so I had to do one for Eunseok too.

Small Note: He was on a Japanese fortune teller show where his chart was revealed and I calculated his rising sign using that but could only estimate his birth time. This reading will use that estimate instead and be in whole sign system.

Eunseok's chart for some reason felt hard to read for me. But anyways Eunseok felt nice to read. He has such calm and attractive energy even his chart reflects that. He's someone with a lot of depth underneath his warm persona. Overall he's a very private individual, I think, to the point where even the closest person to him may never get to know him fully either.

Leo Rising:

There’s no doubt that Eunseok loves to give a good performance after all that is how he leads his life. He may not always enjoy the spotlight but he needs to be appreciated, loved, recognized and adored for everything he does no matter how small it is. Indicator of big beautiful eyes & a bright smile. He’s creative, playful & exudes a warmth and comforting aura (confirmed by his members). This placement also gives one a royal, prince-like beauty. He’s got Aquarius on his 7H meaning that he can be detached in his relationships.

Chart Ruler in 8H:

His chart ruler being in 8H could indicate that he can be mysterious and intense. He's also pretty intuitive, introverted & secretive and values his alone time a lot. His life probably went through a lot of transformations & he had to make life-changing decisions while young, but he most likely dealt with everything the same way without changing much (based on rest of his chart). This is a good placement for producers.

Pisces Sun in 8H:

He’s a pisces sun like Wonbin so Eunseok also is very creative and has a very empathetic and sensitive nature. He has sun trine saturn, meaning he’s responsible, mature & very good at using his talents to achieve success. It also indicates that his personality doesn’t change very easily (combined with leo rising) since saturn shows slowness. He also has sun sextile moon, making him charming, considerate, and able to get along & connect to others well. This aspect adds to his creativity. Eunseok can be difficult to get to know since his sun is in the 8H making his personality a bit more hidden from the rest of the world. I think Wonbin also confirmed this once that we may think we know him but really we don't. He has strong charisma and can come off as mysterious & intense. This combination also creates an extremely generous and affectionate person. He's someone who has no issues giving their all to others and can have a hard time saying no to others.

Pisces Mercury in 8H:

Introverted & introspective placement. He’s very intelligent and thoughtful but has trouble expressing that clearly with words. Empathic & a very good listener. He’s able to understand others quickly & is good at using his intellect & skills to help others. His mercury square jupiter implies that he has a broad outlook on life and can quickly understand different topics and abstract concepts but he zones out and procrastinates a lot. Excellent intuition too. He's more observant & pays great attention to detail. He could also be curious about or interested in deeper philosophical stuff and also topics related to death.

Capricorn Moon in 6H:

He's emotionally resilient, mature & very good at analyzing emotions in a logical way. Level-headed & very in control of his emotions so not as expressive & reactive as people would expect, causing him to come off as insensitive & be easily misunderstood. He also has moon trine saturn meaning that he's very reliable, patient & responsible. He may also feel like he needs to be productive & useful to others. Capricorn moons have the habit of treating everything professionally & like a task even things that seem unserious (he mentioned in an interview once that he keeps a professional mindset even when he acts cute for his fans 😭). Another indicator of his personality being the same for many years. Similar to Wonbin he also has moon in 6H so his health is also sensitive & he can feel tired easily. But unlike Wonbin, his way of dealing with daily problems is to just be calm, patient and wait it out.

Aries Venus (Rx) in 9H:

Very alluring & sexy placement actually. Usually aries venus are bold & daring when it comes to love but as Eunseok has his venus in retrograde, it adds an attractive layer of shyness to him. That doesn’t mean he can’t be affectionate, fun or direct, he's just reserved. This is an indicator of marrying earlier than peers (that Japanese astrologer had also said something similar) or that he gets into relationships very quickly. He has venus trine mars & pluto, which are really just creative aspects. Also implies he can be passionate & impulsive in love. He's probably attracted to foreign cultures & people since he has it in his 9H & has the natural ability to attract a lot of foreigners. He'd also look really good & be able to attract a lot of attention if he tries out foreign fashion or does music/collabs with foreign artists.

Sagittarius Mars in 5H:

Eunseok's quite enthusiastic & optimistic about his goals. He might enjoy playful fighting, debates & maybe even light-hearted arguing too. Indicator of having a warm, funny & easy-going nature. Reckless too. The type to fight passionately for what he believes in. He has quick thinking skills and can come up with good strategies & ideas in a second. He's very independent in his relationships but also gets competitive & impulsive when he does like someone (combined with his aries venus too). This is also a great placement for performers. Another fame and attraction indicator. He's naturally very likeable & relatable and is able to become popular very quickly. He's also able to make important connections and become friends with influential people naturally. Another generous and giving placement. Eunseok is a greatly skilled and talented performer. He's also someone difficult to lie to. A cute detail is that while he may struggle to have faith in things, he finds his luck and hope through his group and friends.

Taurus Saturn in 10H:

Obviously Eunseok works in a really tough and high pressure environment as he is an idol; this is just an indicator of that. He may feel as if he must be taken seriously and be well-respected for his work and achievements at all times. This is also an indicator of having to work a lot harder and facing more delays than others to achieve success, however, combined with his mars placement and his capricorn moon, Eunseok is a hard-worker, and a very persistent and ambitious person so he's able to put in the work consistently to get what he wants. For this, having taurus saturn is also really good since it signifies that he also has good endurance level.

Uranus in 7H:

The most likely to date someone unusual (😭) or have partners that feel completely different (almost alien-like?) from him. He may be the type to suddenly get into relationships and then have sudden breakups too (especially combined with venus and mars placement). He also values his space and independence a lot (based on his chart overall), so once the relationship is over he's the least likely to get back with his ex. I think others may also view him as someone whose actions can be unpredictable.

He may also have an issue of giving 'too much' to his partners but not getting enough in return. Others may have an unrealistic view of him and fantasize about him a lot. The combination of uranus & neptune here can also indicate that sometimes his relationships hold him back from being independent or become turbulent but he's unable to see that (like he has a rose-colored view on them). There are placements in his chart that indicate that he's a realist so his neptune placement may not affect him as much.

Pluto in 5H:

He has a strong desire to be creative and is very attracted to artistic stuff. Can become obsessed with expressing himself and being admired. Very powerful in terms of creativity, almost overwhelming. The art/music he'll make will be very transformative and deep.

These are just my insights on his chart so try not to take them too seriously. I was also supposed to upload this much earlier but I fell sick so I forgot. I'll update the reading if I notice any more aspects or interesting placements.

The "Big Four": Why Mercury Deserves a Spot Next to Your Sun, Moon and Rising

The three pillars of modern astrology, after you get past Sun sign astrology, are your Sun, Moon and Rising sign (which I have complicated thoughts about -- but more on that later).

Sun: Your core self, ego and identity

Moon: Your emotional landscape, habits, and inner needs

Rising (Ascendant): How you interact with the rest of the world. How others first see you.

But to me, these "Big 3" leave out a very important part of the human experience: cognition and mental processing. Without it, I believe we can't capture the full complexity of who a person is at their most fundamental, and why they make the decisions that they make.

Why Mercury?

Mercury rules how we think, process, and communicate. It is the superego to the Moon's id and the Sun's ego. (I don't have a clean Freudian metaphor for the Rising, sorry.) It translates our internal motions and worlds (Sun and Moon) to the external (Ascendant). Without considering Mercury we risk ignoring that very crucial bridge between our motivations and our actions. No other planet has this level of foundational role in our psyche -- other than the Big 3.

Mercury helps you process and articulate your emotional needs (Moon)

Mercury helps you understand your own core motivations and desires (Sun)

Mercury impacts how the Rising sign is actually translated to the world -- after all, thinking (or lack thereof) is fundamental to making decisions on how and where to act.

How Mercury Fits In the Big 4

Imagine a two-dimensional axis:

If we consider Mercury (thinking) and the Moon (feeling) as opposites on one axis, and the Sun (internal drives) and the Ascendant (external actions) as opposites on the other, we start to see a workable framework for balancing the respective powers of the "Big 4" in a chart. As I like to call them:

Sun: How you want (motivation)

Moon: How you feel (emotion)

Rising: How you move (embodied expression)

Mercury: How you think (cognition)

For example, we might consider how dignified or debilitated a given planet is, and then we can see where along each axis a native might fall.

That's all mostly incidental though -- what I really care about is incorporating Mercury into the core reading of the chart as a balancing agent between the other three.

With Mercury, we have a richer, more nuanced framework. We can see how the energies and motions of the other chart objects are integrated and expressed via the processing of Mercury -- the integration of inner and outer worlds.

A note on sect doctrine and traditional importance:

A fair point to raise is that traditionally (hellenistically?) the Sun and Moon are considered important due to their centrality in sect doctrine, while the ascendant is critical due to setting the planetary rulers for each house. I'd argue that Mercury also has a soft signal of importance -- it is the only sect-neutral planet that can be a native of either. I'd argue that this points to its utility and function as a "bridging" energy between two diametrically opposed halves (the day and night sect; the inner and outer psychological words)

A Quick Example: Marilyn Monroe

Marilyn has:

Gemini Sun: Restless, observant and clever. Motivated to gather data and make sense of the world. Performs intelligence as allure.

Aquarius Moon: Emotional glass walls -- she watches, analyzes and retreats. Needs emotional freedom but fears it. A coolness to this placement.

Leo Rising: A sparkling icon, a force of expansive personality, a walking light source. Projects warmth, sensuality and confidence to everyone around her.

But the addition of her Gemini Mercury shows how she takes her Big 3 personality (charismatic, emotionally complex, and deeply creative) and filters it through her deep intellectual curiosity, wit, and remarkable communication and negotiation skills. Without Mercury, we don't have a clear window into how emotion and personality are translated into words and actions.

Mercury is how her Sun learned to articulate itself.

It's how her Moon kept intellectual distance from the pain.

It's how her Rising crafted a language of seduction and softness.

Mercury-Moon-Sun-Rising: An Active Feedback Loop

I'm borrowing here from my limited knowledge of psychological systems theory, so forgive me if I mis-step.

With Mercury in place, we can model identity as an adaptive feedback system rather than a static map.

Moon triggers feelings -> interpreted by Mercury

Mercury builds narrative -> energizes or inhibits Sun motivation

Sun expresses intention -> channeled through Rising action

Rising behavior leads to experience -> which re-informs and triggers Moon

Loop complete. When you're well-integrated, the cycle hums along. When you're fractured or "unhealed" one part hijacks the loops or shuts down the others. That is the client story every chart is showing.

Try It Out Yourself!

Try reading your chart with Mercury as part of your core system. You can ask yourself some questions:

How do you process what you feel? (Moon)

How do you think about and negotiate your desires? (Sun)

What story do you consciously tell when you step out into the world? (Rising)

That's Mercury. That's cognition as a bridge.

A Quick Note on Rising Sign

I disagree with the idea that your rising sign is solely "your mask" or affects only your 1st house. In fact, your rising sign is the key to the rest of the chart -- how sign rulership over every house clicks into place (especially in the Whole Sign System). I'm currently writing up a post about my problems with the Rising Sign and my suggestion that we expand our view into a Rising Archetype, divorced from a single sign and instead incorporating all 12.
