Also, I got done with the first part of the new Forgotten Episode. I'm trying a little something new for the second part, so it may take a little while, but it'll all be worth it! Also, this episode is the last Forgotten Episode before the Season 2 Finale, SO MAKE SOME NOISE!!!

Fun Facts:

Honestly, I couldn't tell you where I got the idea for Apollo and Franziska's relationship dynamic. I just let it grow from the first ever episodes and it took on its current "shape."

The forgotten episode that Apollo remembers in this episode was just 104 frames long originally, frames being slides of dialogue.

Not a fun fact, sorry, but I wanna hear a little bit from yall on this. What would you guys say is the ideal episode length?

The Radio Man (Courtroom Clownery: The Forgotten Episodes Season 2 Episode 1)

Surprise, Tumblr! I'm back already! I'm posting completed episodes from my Ace Attorney series on this blog while I work on new ones (The episode after this one dropped a few days ago, actually, so the blog is about to catch up!) I know I haven't given yall too much time to soak up that last post, but all the episodes are still on this blog, chilling, not going anywhere. Before I make this a wall of text, I will say the usual disclaimer, that being: These episodes are a part of the Courtroom Clownery series, they are not side episodes! The beginning of these episodes always say when they're supposed to be viewed, as they take place between episodes of Phoenix Wright: Courtroom Clownery.

Episode Description: After one of the most shocking trials to date and an ominous message about the past from Grossberg, Wright and company meet back up with Apollo to hear about the memories he's regained using "Wright's technique." In these memories, Apollo recounts his first run in with the infamous "Supreme Outerversal" after "Godot's Damage Charges", and the kickoff to the notorious "Case of the Radio Man."

Fun Facts:

So you may be asking, why is the naming scheme different for these kinds of episodes? Why do they get their own set of seasons despite the fact that they're full episodes in the season they appear in? Well, Reason #1 is that I'm stupid, but Reason #2 is that I wanted a distinction between these memory episodes (which contain revamped versions of my unreleased work, if yall remember,) and the regular episodes. They have their own seasons because each season of the Forgotten Episodes represents a major arc that happened before the events of Courtroom Clownery (Ex. Season 1 was "Godot's Damage Charges" and Season 2 is "The Radio Man Arc"). I feel it helps with timeline order and all of that, given that what happens in the flashbacks in the Forgotten Episodes Seasons 1, 2, etc. are in chronological order and all take place before Phoenix Wright: Courtroom Clownery Seasons 1, 2, etc.

Dang that was a lot.

I just realized there was a minor recording error in this one, but it doesn't impede too much on the video. Still crazy how that got past me though.

I'm assuming if you're reading this, you've watched Season 2 Episode 4 of Courtroom Clownery, meaning that you've learnt that "Chris," "The Boss," "The Radio Man," and the "Supreme Outerversal" are many names for the same person. This means that ever since I've started this story, this guy has basically been the main villain.

Believe it or not, Godot was my 2nd favorite character in this series behind Phoenix Wright at one point. At another point it may have been Apollo in that position, and then Edgeworth was there at another point, but I can't remember all the specifics.

Fun Facts:

No lie, this is probably my best work yet. If I had one criticism, its probably that it can be a yap session at times, but I feel the good stuff outweighs that.

For those who've started to notice certain similarities, one of the twists towards the end of the episode will be satisfying for you.

This is the second episode I got a cool comment on. Milestone!

If there's one thing I really like, it's reintroducing well known Ace Attorney characters to the audience in the context and setting of an alternate universe. There's a lot of that in this episode.

The amount of set up in this episode is wild, but yall are just gonna have to wait and see.

Yall know the drill, I'm posting complete episodes here while I work on new ones (there was a recording error with the new one I was supposed to drop the other day. Whoops!) This is the second part to the previous episode of Courtroom Clownery: The Forgotten Episodes. Keep in mind that these episodes are part of the Courtroom Clownery series and are supposed to be watched between certain episodes. The Forgotten Episodes will always indicate when they are supposed to be watched at the beginning. Episode Description: After recovering some of his deepest memories, Phoenix Wright gets closer to discovering the context behind the Ouma Principle, and remembering one of his first major cases on record. Fun Facts:

Alright, mistake time. Phoenix says Apollo's name in the first memory but then says "it has a name" in the second memory when he is brought up. I remember spending time trying to make it clear that he didn't know who Apollo was but I must've missed that frame.

With these revamped episodes, the audience has seen the very first story arc in my objection.lol history in its entirety. It's interesting seeing the completely unserious origins of Courtroom Clownery compared to my latest work.

I DO NOT regret my decision to release these episodes as memory segments in the main series instead of just releasing the old stuff and then making Courtroom Clownery as a sequel series later on. I frankly like the mystery I've crafted and its storytelling potential, as well as the non-linear style. There's just something about making people piece together the story behind the main story, while the main story moves alongside at its normal pace.

So you guys have heard about the "hidden history" of Courtroom Clownery in the other fun fact segments. This is it! These episodes contain revamped versions of those original objection.lol projects that take place before Courtroom Clownery.

These episodes were very nostalgic to make considering the original plot and humor were very much a product of their time, yet still enjoyable looking back.

I like seeing how I've evolved the characters so far and how that may intrigue the audience. What made Edgeworth go from cruel to only slightly rude? Why did the goofy Godot of the past era get all serious by the beginning of Season 1? What fueled Phoenix's underlying paranoia during Seasons 1 and 2? How will the past arcs lead to the Survivor's Forest Incident? Those are the questions these episodes may have you asking.

Turnabout Motives of Mourning (Phoenix Wright: Courtroom Clownery Season 2 Episode 3)

Episode Description: After uncovering a disturbing truth during the Mock Trial, Wright finds himself awoken that same night by an odd happening in Edgeworth's dorm. The next day, the first real investigation is kicked off when someone doesn't show up to breakfast...

Fun Facts:

So this case is definitely more put together than the last one gameplay wise. I'm actually really proud of the trial portion's gameplay and writing. I've definitely made better "investigation" parts, however.

Speaking of investigations, this case was made before objection.lol got a proper investigation making feature, so it's a nice little relic in that sense!

It's actually possible to "port" other sprite based characters into objection.lol using the custom character feature, and that's how I got those silly guys for those "sprites from another game" that were used in Chef T's "Game" and the dream sequence.

The Mock Trial (Phoenix Wright: Courtroom Clownery Season 2 Episode 2)

Episode Description: After an attack on the courtroom abruptly ends the last debate, Phoenix Wright and his allies find themselves waking up in an unfamiliar setting. Before they can get answers, they must partake in a sketchy "Mock Trial" as part of an odd gameshow with an even odder host.

Fun Facts:

Welcome to the first real playable case! It's definitely more put together, but I was still inexperienced at the time, so the gameplay might be unecessarily difficult. I'd recommend following along with the walkthrough if needed.

Okay, enough yap, here's a real fun fact: I assemble all the custom characters myself for the sole purpose of avoiding customs made by others.

There's a higher quality collection of "Chris" sprites I could've used, but I didn't because it didn't have as much poses and expressions. Plus, the crunchiness adds character and contributes to the whole "fake" vibe.

This was the first episode I recieved an actual comment on. You can see it in the comment section of the walkthrough. That was definitely a milestone!

I defintely went into Season 2 with the "odd" vibe in mind. After a season of the characters knowing stuff the audience didn't, I decided that I should have a season where both parties are just as clueless. Season 3 could be the season of dramatic irony, at this rate.

The Course of Action (Phoenix Wright: Courtoom Clownery Season 2 Episode 1)

YEAAAAHHHH SEASON 2 BABY!!! Posting episodes from my Ace Attorney AU series on tumblr while I work on new ones, yall know the drill. Episode description and fun facts under the cut, DON'T BE LATE!

Episode Description: Roughly a week after the conclusion of the Survivor's Forest Incident, Phoenix Wright is called back to Debate Court by Edgeworth and Godot to discuss the next course of action concerning Future Wright's disappearance.

Fun Facts:

As you may notice, the series has got a makeover. New text box (The HD Trilogy one provided by objection.lol), and objection.lol courtroom transitions (which I winged in this episode. I learned how to properly do them later lol.)

As of right now, I wouldn't say I have a favorite season, but the fond memories are about 5 times more prominent for me when I look back at Season 2. The episodes were really fun to work on once I started incorporating playable cases into the series.

Not to toot my own horn, but I think my writing really improved this season.

Speaking of, this season isn't actually finished... Multiple hiatuses(?) and periods of low motivation have prevented me from reaching the finale, but I have only one shorter episode to work on before I get there so hang tight!

Sooo, now that I'm done posting season 1, what do you guys think? Any favorite episodes or moments? Constructive criticisms (keep in mind it's not my latest work)?

Bag of Tricks! (Phoenix Wright: Courtroom Clownery Side Episode)

Hello again, tumblr! You all know the drill by now, just me posting released episodes with tumblr exclusive episode descriptions and fun facts under the cut. This one is an interactive side episode that takes place between Season 1 and Season 2, so the link is in the description of the video above, but there is also a walkthrough posted on my channel, which I personally recommend.

Episode Description: Franziska von Karma's back in business after the conclusion of the Survivor's Forest Incident, and she's prosecuting on the behalf of none other than Larry Butz after he witnessed an alleged "drug sale." Play as Franziska and expose the truth, while fighting for your career at the same time!

Soooo, this is the first playable episode I ever made. It's definitely not my best work, but it was more of a tech demo than anything. Just me experimenting with the objection.lol case maker. It only helped me get better around the time I started making the cases for season 2!

Fun Facts:

If you decide to play the episode on objection.lol, it's actually missing some of the music that's in the walkthrough video. This is because those audio tags were lost after the Great Discord File Hosting Apocalypse.

Despite Manfred barking about plot relevance in the video above, this case is still a side episode, meaning it can be skipped. It's still a part of the plotline, yet it's not required to know what's going on, as the other episodes explain it.

Oh, one last thing! In a throwaway comment during one of the cross examinations, Phoenix tells Larry that Franziska is 19. She may actually be older, as the series takes place later than I originally had in mind due to story developments. First retcon!

Turnabout Rousing Finale (Phoenix Wright: Courtroom Clownery Season 1 Episode 8)[SEASON FINALE]

You know what, I think the regular paragraph I put here is starting to get a little spammy, so lets change it up a bit. Episode description and fun facts under the cut!

Epsiode Description: After a fiasco concerning missing data on the suspect behind the Survivor's Forest Incident, Wright and Edgeworth pursue the judge for answers. Little did they know that they've walked straight into the final turnabout, in which a scandal to erase the past shows its face, and the nature of the Survivor's Forest Incident is finally unveiled!

Fun Facts:

20 minutes, WOW! This makes Turnabout Rousing Finale the longest non-playable episode.

This is probably the first episode I got commentary on, that being from someone I knew on discord who liked the ending.

Man this is making me nostalgic. Simpler times... Hope you guys are fans of tonal shifts!

Alright, here's my formal reflection. As writers, it can be very easy to over criticize your work. Looking back, you may notice flaws or general "cringe" that you may have missed in the moment. I'm here to say, forget all of that. Everything you have made is simply a stepping stool for everything you will make. You have a right to enjoy your own work. As I rewatched this episode, it dawned on me that, "Hey, Season 1's not that bad at all!" It serves its purpose, and it definitely made way for a good Season 2 as well. You will only get better, trust! Keep writing what you love, improve upon yourself, and try not to be your own biggest critic/hater.

Fun Facts:

Maya is waaayyy more powerful in this AU, which is probably just a consequence of me not taking things seriously lol. I definitely have more plans for her and her abilities

If I had to give a lore reason for why that last fact exists, I'd probably say that its because of 1-2 never happening, and the fact that this season takes place around the time of Trials and Tribulations, maybe a bit later. A lot of story events straight up don't happen due to the timeline of this AU (which will be important later).

Those without a soul may find the track that I used for Redd White's introduction familiar. I found it fitting for its absurd and goofy maliciousness.

This is one of my favorite episodes from the first season. Watching this again recently makes me miss this era of my work tbh.

This is the last non-story focused trial of the series, which I'm kind of mad at myself for. Alas, the series evolves as it goes on, along with my writing. Perhaps after Season 2 ends I will find my center.

Episode Description: The reunited allies devise a plan to rescue Gumshoe and set off. Godot notices something odd in the forest, and Miles Edgeworth calls Phoenix Wright to Debate Court once again!

Fun Facts:

[This fun fact was supposed to be on the last post but I forgot] When I started off this series, I wasn't satisfied with the entire library of Ace Attorney music objection.lol provided, for some reason. Instead, I decided to soundtrack scenes of abnormality with Toby Fox's music. This continued throughout the series. Waterfall and Another Medium would be my most used tracks.

One thing I remember thinking about was characterization. I needed to migrate the character changes caused by events in the "hidden history" over to this series, without making the audience feel left out on character arcs. Luckily, everything worked out in a way in which I could do a lot with the characters in this series without relying on the "hidden history" too much. I'm betting on everything paying off nicely when the audience finally receives the additional context from the "Forgotten Episodes," along with character moments that occur in the series' present.
