So sad I didn't think of this before writing laserbeak as just some crow but medieval au Soundwave and laserbeak is a dragon. Bonus points if she's a tiny dragon that can somehow become bigger through magic so everyone is like,"oh that tiny thing? That doesn't matter" but when they really see her they're 100% about to die. Then instead of drone allegations she's got to beat the incompetent animal allegations.

Because my army KNOWS I'm a high value male and until you become a high value female, you will never succeed in your life."

Which, btw, I would love to hear y'all's takes on this as well. I have heard some say they love it and others think it's kinda so and so. If I am missing something or read over context let me know. I have read about half of mtmte, so if this is actually in character for rodimus, also let me know.

Unpopular opinion, I did not like this chapter of The Echo Garden. The argument between Soundwave and Rodimus was super icky. Like not even in a,"they shouldn't fight 🥺" way but as in Rodimus came off super manipulative almost? My least favorite bits are attached to sorta show what I mean

My ick with this paragraph is that one, there is no option to step away. Rodimus gives Soundwave the ultimatum of "we either figure this out now or you're not leaving". Plus, the 'wanting to yank soundwave by yhe visor' bit. Never liked that trope. Not only that but this is SOUNDWAVE. Rodimus should know based off past soundwaves that yea, violating trust and privacy is a big deal, especially for Soundwave. Soundwave has built his entire being off of knowing everything. Whether this is purely for power or to give him an upper hand his armor lacks, how the fuck would he expect Soundwave to react.

I don't like the whole,"well I gave you a second chance so you should give me a second chance". That's gross. I also don't like the fact that Rodimus doesn't even show a little bit of remorse at letting Mirage follow Soundwave. Instead, he's just angry Mirage got caught. No,"you're right, having Mirage follow you and giving you the sense of full freedom is fucked up" but, "yea if Mirage could do his fucking job I wouldn't have to shoulder the responsibility of my bad decision". Gross. To add the icing to the cake he seems mad Soundwave is complaining at all with the whole,"What else? Get it out, Soundwave" bit.

Regardless, hopefully the next chapter is better.

Thinking about Soundwave reaching out to let people know he's still alive in the shadowrealm through computer manipulation. So he gets into the autobot computer and messes with things Ratchet is writing. Ratchet just dismisses it as old technology.

Having thoughts about Soundwave finally making it out of the shadowrealm in critical condition. Ratchet picks up his distress beacons and figures,"Well, the war is over, right?" Then Soundwave becomes the autobot base crytid.
