Hey Dragonites! Several of you may have gotten this message, and I’m looking into it. For the time being things for the most part seem legit, but don’t approve for any of your artwork to be shared just yet. I would hate to hear of any fellow Dragonites getting their work stolen or used for promotion without fair compensation. Stay safe out there guys!
So, this second unedited video from Christy Hui popped up on Vimeo yesterday. I assume that it’s meant to be a private test video, but the XiaolinDragons linked twitter account automatically shared that link openly.
In the first video https://vimeo.com/217313083
Christy Hui says
“Hey Dragons. I’m Christy Hui, creator of Xiaolin Showdown and Xiaolin Chronicles.-”
and then the video ends.
In the second video Christy Hui continues the message by saying;
“-So, what I would like to do today is to take this opportunity to show you something that we’ve been working on behind the scenes-”
And then the video ends. That’s it. I should add that (at this date) there are no other videos on the XiaolinDragons Vimeo account.
It is unclear weather Christy’s brief words hint that she has been trying to continue the franchise, and has a new project hidden somewhere up her sleeve. I personally haven’t ever seen that graphic of Omi before, and the style looks slightly different from Showdown/Xhronicles …
OR, if she is is simply going to show us some of the ‘behind the scenes’ production work that went into Xiaolin Chronicles (which the Facebook page has suggested it will be uploading more of lately).
There isn’t much information to go off of, but the fact that Christy Hui has made a video at all, makes me think that there will likely be some new Xiaolin content (of some form) popping up in the not so distant future. In other words,
“Keep your bananas peeled”
- Omi, sometime probably
I noticed a few days ago that the Xiaolin Dragons twitter had some video tweets. I couldn’t watch them due to privacy settings, on the videos, and later found they had been deleted. A shame since that Omi artwork looks AMAZING!!!!
In other news, Xiaolin Dragons is on vimeo and it looks like a new project is in the works!
