Had a dream that Aipri had suddenly gotten interesting while I was looking away, but it had already destroyed my trust too much so I didn’t want to start watching it again. There was something about Airi becoming a jester. They had this ripoff Symphonia thing going on and they’d released like 10 different new songs for the not-symphonia contest. I saw the video for one of them, a song by Quartet Star, but there was no sound so I made sound in my head. The song I made up began with dramatic orchestral music and then a thumping beat dropped and the song got more dance-y but there were still violins going crazy in the background, and also a twinkling organ like in Tutu Ballerina. The music was very loud and powerful but it was all mixed really well and never got too loud and never overwhelmed the vocals. I forgot most of the song after it ended, which made me mad because it was a really good song. The video was this surreal spiral tunnel of patterns and movement, including these big pastel-neon CGI mushrooms that swayed and danced. The CGI was way better than anything in Aipri so far. Further into the spiral, there were butterfly motifs, which got more and more frequent until at the end of the tunnel there were these glowing neon butterfly wing shapes, and then it cut to black. For a minute I really felt that Aipri must finally be getting good, but then I remembered that was impossible, so I didn’t watch Aipri after all.

AiPri Verse not only is a portal to connect with the other Pretty Series (and Love & Berry and Miku…) but it's going to become an Aikatsu arcade too! AHAHAHAH

Starting from October 2nd you can get Himari or Mitsuki cards of Akari's Pink Parade Coord from the Himitsu no AiPri arcade game and you can earn Akari's mychara parts in AiPri Verse to make your character look like her!

Takara Tomy is basically acquiring Aikatsu ahahah

i love hearing about your dreams so i hope you don’t mind me sharing mine lol

basically there was this tournament going on for various aikatsu duos. first up was akari and madoka and they were performing a variation of “hello new world” except instead of the usual instrumental it was a violin version. the stage was less detailed and the two of them lept from platform to platform as they sang (knocking over parts of the stage in the process). they were both really out of sync choreography-wise and their auras were “individual” instead of a group aura to show that i think. akair was wearing a frilly lace coord, like a usual skips unit coord, and her aura had bubbles instead of hearts for some reason? madoka had a lacey top to match akari’s, but she also wore yellow angely bear themed pants. instead of cookie hearts she had lots of white glitter in her aura. they got a lot of criticism from the judges for being out of sync (like madoka would literally just stand there as akari was wrapping up a dance move it was that bad jfhhdjd).

next was dancing diva but i think sumire got sick in the middle of the performance so that counted as an automatic loss?? i’m not sure what song they were performing but the stage was a large ice rink with lots of background dancers skating about. sumire and rin were wearing matching hoodies and sweatpants witb yellow and pink details but also apparently they were made out of leather?? or had a similar texture to it?? i think they were also wearing helmets with the dancing diva logo on it. sumire had to be dragged off the stage.

the last was hinaki and juri and their performance started off with juri talking to the audience and doing some sort of comedy routine (?) where she would say something and they would respond back to her but hinaki was secretly fed up with the whole thing. juri was wearing a ship-in-a-bottle themed coord and looked like a pirate. hinaki wore a blue fishbowl-themed coord and looked like a mermaid. the stage was a pirate ship out at sea and the two began singing after the ship tipped both of them into the water?? they were apparently singing “poppin’ bubbles” except it wasn’t really that song and was an overwhelmingly loud sea shanty. the choreography was kind of weird because it was shot in hinaki’s POV so all you could see was a bunch of different fish swimming around you and also juri off to the side singing and dancing. i don’t think we ever saw their idol aura. once they were done, hinaki lamented to sumire that it was the worst performance she ever had to take part in. sumire at this point is lying down because she’s still sick.

that was it lol. i woke up so they never announced a winner but if i could pick one i guess i’d pick passionate jalapeño.

I had a dream that there was an event starring the voice actor of Shougo from Idol Time Pripara. He got on stage looking more dishevelled than you would expect, he had stubble all over his neck and looked kind of manic. He performed Shougo’s image song but he had a marching band drum with him and was drumming really loudly the whole time. Then he locked the doors, gave mini drums to the audience, and said that nobody could leave unless they could repeat the song back to him. “Talk amongst yourselves, I’m sure one of you remembers the whole song. Oh, also you have to recreate my drumming that I just did. This is entertainment. You owe me this, as my fans.”

Then I paced around in my room mumbling something like “who knew that such a weird and scary man was behind the nice voice of this forgettable character.”

"i caught up on all the pretty series" "do i have to finish pripara" "i'm binge watching the pretty series so i can be up to date" well. you can do whatever you want of course. but IMO you're doing it wrong. the pretty series exists outside of time and logic, and is dangerous to consume in large quantities

OK so… uh….. shin and his friends time travel to see their past lives and every pretty rhythm series boys doing lives but there was a huge glitch and somewhere all the pretty series boys fall in to the same dark pits of prism god area meanwhile the kinpri series boys wandered in every pretty series universe to meet every boys from pripara era (idol time & idol land), prichan era, primagi era.!! Lives were cool.!!! (In the mascot hell....)

But the thing is... at the very end ai shows up and threatens shin that he will destroy him completely as shin got sent to the future where the prism sparkle is gone. Louis managed to confront Ai who decided NOT to destroy shin as shine's shadow has gone for good (FOR NOW) said he will destroy Louis instead and gets in to Louis.! Still every prism boys rescue the future prism world together! They shared time travel bracelets and even a tomo ticket But At the very end there is another PLOT.!!

The bonus scene had shin possessed by shine AGAIN, new edel rose members (the boy from finland and the brothers (twins.?).... new plot twists new enemies / rivals, Louis turns in to ai (or maybe ai is pretending to be louis) and there is another long blue haired glasses wearing prism messenger....

And there will be another prism 3 contest thingy which will be done.! A trio contest...!!

This was so wild.!!!

I bet they will make a new movie after this.!!!

Still loved all the songs.!!

My Pretty Rhythm character ranking after the full rewatch.

Perfect characters are the ones I could rave about forever. Their writing, their scenes, their role in the story add SO MUCH to the show.

Iconic characters are fun to watch regardless of how much they add to the story. It just wouldn't be the same show without them lol

I care deeply for everyone in Bestie tier because I really empathize with their struggles. I think they deserve happiness

Cute characters are just fine but hold thematic weight. They're basically really good characters to explain the show's themes with, but rarely the most fun to watch. Kazuki is cool though.

Funny characters are good for gags but let's be honest you could cut them out and lose nothing
