i’m at the theatre and everybody’s wearing merchandise. i’m in my normal casual attire. being a quiet fan isn’t as quiet as it seems i guess

#feel like i need to reblog this #bc lets say it louder for the ppl in the back #in my theatre the audiance was mostly young girls wearing merch too actually #i saw the signs of crying on some of them after the movie in the bathroom #and i feel like..#it's not the same thing that made us sad #and what i found disgusting is Bighit making this movie #while continuing to milk the boys DRY #hipocrite much?#ah its just good old capitalism saying hello #bring the soul #bts #bangtan

Today i watched Bring The Soul in the cinema and it confirmed the feeling i had this year concerning BTS. I really did grow out of this fandom and moved on.

I’ve been very out of loop/behind w all these contents but I noticed it doesn’t bother me anymore. I did listen to the new album which was a disappointment to me (simply it just didn’t allign w my music taste) and that was kind of the “last nail in the coffin” just to be dramatic. It also didn’t help how Bighit’s and some fans’ antics have been rubbing me the wrong way lately.

I’ve never been one of those ppl whose life was “saved by Bangtan” but these 4 yrs in the fandom gave me a lot which I’m grateful for. Mostly for the opportunity to meet awesome ppl (even if mainly just online) whom i consider friends no matter how much/little we talked.

Now this does not mean i’m abandoning the fandom forever, i consider these 7 men my platonic friends/brothers, i am still very fond of them, always wish them the best and will look out for their future works. I suppose it’s just taking another step back, and while i can never be just a “casual listener” with so much in “our” past, i will be the closest to that.

I won’t delete tumblr and while i probably won’t reblog that much anymore I’ll be still around occasionaly, if nothing else for those friends i can only reach through here. I may answer later but i will be here if you want to talk :)

Idk why i’m writing such an essay nobody really cares, i guess i simply wanted to give a reason, to talk about how i feel instead of just disappearing into thin air.

#my thoughts #im not sure i worded this well but its 11pm and hot as hell im a bit drained #a new chapter will open in my life within a month i'll get busy soon #ive been feeling this...detachment from bts like half a year now #it just jumped out after the movie #i might delete this later idk yet i just felt like writing stuff out of me #my friend who has turned an army a year ago is still very excited&updated and it just makes the contrast between us even sharper #i still watch bts content w im at ger place/talk about bangtan w her #and i dont mind it #but when im alone im less likely to look them up #the turning point came when i went on v app and the first thought seeing a subbed vid was #its 50mins but he wont say anything important anyway do i really want to waste my time for this?#*on this #so yeah...#the guys will always have a place in my heart #and i mostly have good memories from my days in the fandom bc i managed to avoid all the drama or never heard about it in the first place #not to mention the great friends i made whom i still cherish even tho some of them left a long time ago or we just fell out of contact #i will never regret discovering bts and enlisting #it shaped me as a person and my worldview #i might not have the same passion i was burning with 3 yrs ago #but i am content

Lol tumblr marked the pic of the statue i posted as adult content…

I was just saying that Ernest Christophe’s La comèdie humana dit aussi Le Masque sculpture which I saw at the Musèe d'Orsay a few days ago would fit so well BTS’ concept.
