WINTER DESIGN IS SO COOL!!!! Somehow my favorite part of him is his tail skdjs what would he say it's his favorite part of himself??? 👀

Design wise? Or Personality wise?

Lol, I’m just kidding, I’ll answer for both! :D

Honestly? I think Winter’s favourite part of himself would also be his tail; it’s gotten him out of a lot of tricky situations, so he does owe a lot to his tail.

For personality, though, I think it would be the courage and strength he learned. Winter wasn’t always a good fighter, or a confident guy, but over the years and a few encounters with a certain octopus he has come around! He now really prides himself on being the strong fighter that he is, because now he can protect those around him :)

Thanks for the question! Let’s hope Winter makes it through a few rounds of the @sonic-fankid-showdown!!

About Winter: (by @sonicrewrittenau; art by @star-critter) Born two years before the first infections of the Metal Virus, Winter didn't have the best start to life. He was sadly converted into a Zombot and sent far away from his home while the Deadly Six reigned over the Zombots, and when he was cured, he had no memory of his home, nor his original family. Winter was left to fend for himself in Spiral Hill Village and suffered humilation at the hands of bullies, which led to him developing life-long trust issues and troubles making friends. Thankfully, local heroes Tangle and Whisper took him in as their own and raised him in a loving home. Winter now is still cold and distant, careful not to trust others in fear of reprecussions. However, he has learned to be caring and is exceptionally protective of his friends and families at the Restoration and Spiral Hill alike. Nowadays, whenever he can, Winter is building on his treasure-hunting skills, and as he continues on his quests to find ancient artifacts.

About Alice: (by @invisableartist) She's adopted Human, created In a laboratory by G.U.N, originally gonna be a weapon, but, Shadow basically said "nuh-uh" and adopted her. She's very fun and energetic, and loves Hello Kitty. She has bit of a temper, but, she's very kind!

May I add in that fever dream of a crossover between Wild Kratts and Frozen?

What was a, "you had to be there" moment, or moments for WK? (Whether show, fandom, or other). I'll go first (this one's a fucking DOOZY)

The existence of the flash content on the WK website, as well as the games' takedown (additionally, the existence of Habitat Rescue, that shit slapped, you had to be there)

That one scene from the hummingbird episode

The whole of the pilot episode.

The Back in Creature Time special + when the Time Trampoline became an arc (which, as of a month ago, has been dragged on for 8 years)

Aviva and Koki activating creature powers in the first half of the show and getting their own creature power suits.

The Jimmy CPS tease in Sea Otter Swim.

When Lemur Legs premiered and everyone expected Zooboomafoo to make a guest-star appearance.

When the Kratts appeared on Odd Squad.

Toodles (it took me too long to learn about Salutations but Toodles registered in my mind for sooo long)

Back in the early days of the show when people were shipping the Kratt Brothers with MLP:FiM characters (firstly, WHY, secondly, I solely believe the only reason that died out was because the brony fandom sky-rocketed and left the WK fandom in the dust because PBS wasn't generally a popular network)

When Paisley Paver met the villains (only to be screwed over by the show's refusal to give her any more post-S5 appearances outside of cameos/group-appearances with the other villains)

Several fanfics released during the show's 2nd & 3rd season which hit a cult following (do fanworks have cult followings?). To name a few: The Power of Nature by Taismo's-89: The Elemental Charge fanfic (which was based off of Power of Nature) ShorinRyuKarateKobudo's take on S3, including Brandon Tran, A.K.A. Agent Ninja.

The false episode articles on the Wild Kratts wiki, including the Back in Creature Time sequel titled, Jurassic Kratts, & the infamous Caviva wedding episode.

Tardigrade Xtreme (mainly it was because it was the closest the show ever did to killing off the Kratts, but also, there was a brief discourse on the wiki about whether or not it was the series finale).

When the show returned after a 9 month hiatus for the S6 finale.

When the show went on hiatus again for what will be another year... after we just got out of a 9 month hiatus with only 1-2 episodes.

I'm only 16, yet I have this many memories about the show + fandom that make me feel like a boomer.

Paisley is actually good now so SPOILERS

In one of the specials the show did, Paisley was fascianted by coral and chose to support nature and now she's like. Hawaii rules.

Okay this is kinda dumb but:

The comments are turned off on Pinterest but this is a dumb fucking post. I haven’t watched wild kratts in years so idk who this Paisley person is but the first 3 made me mad. Especially Zach.

Zach doesn’t use his inventions to “further human progress” his inventions are all to make money off of or to do things he’s too lazy to do himself. The problem with him is that he uses live animals in them. And we see especially with Aviva is that you can use animal traits to make really cool and useful tech WITHOUT using a live animal for it. Not only in the creature power suits but also her other inventions.

And then Donita, idk but the way they say this makes it sound like she’s just an artist seeking inspiration. No she’s using tech to freeze live animals or mind control them into doing what she wants. In the gliding gecko episode it’s clear that the Kraft brothers are trying to get the geckos back soon enough so the geckos don’t die. In the orb weaver spider episode Donita is mind controlling spiders to get golden silk and we see how awful that is and in that episode Aviva makes a synthetic replica of the silk!! So stealing it from the spiders isn’t needed!!!!

And Gourmand. It doesn’t matter how fucking delicious or healthy his food is he’s still going after specifically endangered animals for no reason other than it’ll taste good. That’s like saying hunting elephants for ivory is okay because it’s a natural and strong material. Poaching is poaching no matter what the motive is.

Again idk who paisley is she’s vaguely familiar maybe I need to catch up on my wild kratts lore but yeah this is a dumb post the original post was also dumb I love wild kratts 👍
