zip x reader? i know he's not a star tug, but then again someone probably asked for Billy Shoepack-

ZIP TIME (this was actually made on last saturday, but I forgot to send)

👻 𝐙𝐢𝐩 𝐗 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐬 👻

Since Zip isn't the brightest, your relationship would probably be a slow burn

istg it took this boy AGES to realize that he had a crush on you (and vice versa)

When he finally realizes this, he kinda panics?? He has never really been in a romantic relationship before, so he kinda freaks out about it

He goes to ask Zug if he has any romantic tips (while trying to be lowkey about his crush, and failing horribly)

To which Zug just awnsers as: "Just don't be stupid and tell them that you like them"

So that's what he did-

He just went up to you and said "I love you!"

And you were caught so off guard that you just said: "I love you too!"

And both of you blushed almost instantly

You two blushed for the rest of the day like lovesick teens-

The next day, you two descided to finally start dating, which made Zip smile the most you have ever seen him smile before

SO, Zip is a super sweet boyfriend

He's spending time with you in some way

When you're working, Zip tends to help you, although sometimes he gets sidetracked with helping you and he forgets to do his actual work

Even though Zorran had told him to stop helping you and just deliver his damn barges, Zip still tends to help you but only when no one is around

He also tries (and fails) to give off a "bad boy" persona around you, by doing some things that he considers "devious" (which are most often than not harmless pranks)

He also tends to call you devious, as a word of affection, like "oh, I love you so much, my devious partner!!"

Zip feels like the type of guy who m e l t s at pet names, so if you call him something like dear, honey, sweetheart, etc. he would melt at the spot and start blushing

Since Zip is kinda absent-minded, you tend to do most of the thinking

The other Zeds probably already know about your relationship, but they don't really bother you that much, aside from when they tease Zip from time to time

All in all, Zip is a super sweet boyfriend who loves you very much!!

¿Do you write the characters as humans or as machines? is that some actions that you write make me doubt a little and I don't know how to imagine them

but I'm not complaining if you write them like machines 👀

Hey! I personally write them as humans/humanoids bc this is mostly based on my human Tugs AU.

But I tend to make my writing acessible to if you want to see them as either humans or machines.

Billy, who is normally very chaotic and danger-loving, tends to get a lot more mellow when around you.

But every once in a while, he gets really energetic when hanging out with you

He just loves you so much-

If you work at Up River, expect him to be around you A LOT

You are just working on something and then BOOM (dw it's not dynamite) he just surprise-hugs you from the back

It always gets you in a good mood

If you work at the port, you two probably don't see eachother very often

But don't worry, Billy-Boy over here makes up for that every time you visit him

He calls you "firecracker" and you call him "gator boy"

You two love eachother a lot

He LOVES the games where you have to throw things

Because 1: He sometimes likes to show off his strengh in more subtle ways

And 2: Because he more often then not gives you the prize

So anyways, be ready to walk out of the carnival with loads of plushies-

He'll confort you if you don't win any prizes and vice-versa

But if any of the games are rigged, he will 100% call them out

He also has a sweet tooth so he will definitely buy you some cotton candy

He's a bit more lowkey than TC in some aspects

But at the same time, he's a bit more... out there? (I guess that's the word)

He isn't really good at the games, so you will probably have to win most of them lmao-

He buys every kind of snack possible, don't ask

You guys will probably spend most of the time at the ferris wheel

Mostly cuz Sunny likes to spend some quiet time with you

You both will probably stargaze when you two are at the top

Okay, so-

Boomer had a small crush on Sunshine when they first met, but he didn't really say anything

He had never been in a relationship before, and since he was still jinxed when they met, he was scared to hurt Sunshine

a while after Boomer was turned into a houseboat and his jinx was gone, he finally told Sunshine how he felt

Sunshine was VERY surprised-

And then Sunshine said how he also had a crush on Boomer for a while

Both of them were all like: 😶

They laughed for nearly a full minute

After this, they started actually dating

They have sickeningly sweet pet names that they call eachother (they mostly do this to piss off everyone else-)

I hc that Boomer is into gardening

So every time Sunshine comes by, he gives him one of his flowers, as a gift

(Sunny spends the rest of the day with the flower on his head)

Boomer gets a bit lonely sometimes, since Sunshine doesn't go Up River every day

But sometimes Capt. Starr gives Sunshine some jobs Up River so that he can spend some time with his bf

(also yeah capt. starr knows about their relationship and he supports it as long as Sunshine does his work well)

The other Star Tugs were a bit confused on why Sun is dating Boomer

ESPECIALLY after all of the havoc Boomer's jinx caused

But at the end of the day, they all accept it and are happy for Sunny

Big Mac puts 4-leaf clovers on Sunny's cap every time he goes to visit Boomer, just in case

You cannot tell me that Boomer doesn't give amazing advice OR that he isn't great with noticing emotions-

Every time Sunshine comes to visit him and he feels down, Boomer imadiatelly knows what's up

He lets Sunshine rest with him and tell him how he will always be there for him.

(Which makes Sunny cry from pure joy)

tl;dr: Boomer and Sunshine are a precious couple and are amazing for eachother

It doesn't matter if you're taller than him, he will call you that

Because of that, he tends to give you sunflowers in nearly a weekly basis, which you always put in a pot

When he was going to tell the other Stars that he was dating you they all already knew-

His face got super red-

Ten Cents and you were already good friends so he trusted you to take good care of his best friend

Billy Shoepack also (surprisingly) knew about this

He wasn't super sure on this at first, since he didn't even know you

But after a while you two became great friends and told Sunshine that he did a super good choice when choosing to be your boyfriend

TC and Billy also tease Sunny for being so in love with you

So in all, Sunny is a super fun boyfriend and is as warm as thew actual sun

It was making the whole port crazy

Everyone cheered when they finally got together

They are the devinition of a long-distance relationship

With Hercules mostly out at sea and Lillie being stuck at Dem Der Rocks, they don't see eachother face-to-face very often

So when they do see face-to-face they make the most of it

They tend to go out on long walks around town or look at the stars and talk about their day

Lillie is very lonely, so Hercules is one of the few people that she talks with frequently

She sometimes sees herself as an outcast, but Hercules always reminds her of how important she is, both to the entire port and to him.

Ten Cents actually thought that they were dating long before Herc told him, which made them both laugh

TC was a little on edge when they started dating, but his worries quickly vanished

He trusts Lillie to take good care of his older brother

When Herc is at sea they send eachother pictures of their adventures

The first thing Lillie does every time Hercules comes back from his duties is run and hug him

They are basically the port's iconic couple

I don't really write for Bluenose (at least not yet) but I hope you still accept these Grampus ones!

Since he has never really been in a relationship before, everything is just baby steps to him

Grampus loves to surprise hug you sometimes (he just has that vibe lmao)

He loves to give you gifts and other random stuff that he finds on his adventures

You two have so many inside jokes-

Grampus also told you about what the navy was going to do with him and you were pissed

From that day onwards, you acted sassier than normal towards Bluenose (Which yeah, made him pissed)

Grampus is a bit self-concious about his lisp, so when you tell him that you love it, he gets a huge confidence boost

Overrall, Grampus is pretty innocent and somewhat umprepared but he would do anything for you
