It sucks to have someone so ingrained into your life that you automatically rely on them. Especially when their gone. Their absence is like a void in your life. An unspoken shadow. Like a word at the tip of your tongue, so familiar, but just out of reach.

You know what’s odd? When you’ve been depressed for so long that when things start getting better, you have no idea how “normal” used to feel and it feels so foreign.

You ever realize you made a silly little dumb-dumb mistake that would have saved you a lot of time and money had you realized? Me too.

Gotta love when you are crying over someone eating all your pizza and egg rolls and no one will admit it.

Why does my coping mechanism have to be dark humor. Every time I crack a dark joke I get concerned and annoyed looks.

The song “We are number one” is my brain cells on a daily basis. The background melody is also what my string of thoughts sound like.

Anyone ever just affectionately lengthen the names of their pets. For example I have a cat named Fred but I’ll lengthen his name to Fredrick.
Another example is our cat Grant we call him Mr. Grant sometimes.

#cute cats#my thougts#Fred has the highest meow out of all our cats#neither ever have thoughts in those heads

Someday when I have kids, I aspire to give them all the things that I enjoyed from my childhood. Especially the part where I followed my pa around and did random tasks on the farm.

You never realize how well you knew a person until they are dead. I don’t mean this in the “finding out about mysterious lovers” kind of way. What I mean by this is you will be going about your day and the most random objects will remind you of them. For example, if you happen to see any brands of soap they used to use, food they used to cook, random objects that remind you of stories they used to tell. Almost anything and everything could have a relation back to the person and reminds you of them. When asked on the spot what this person liked, you may not be able to answer, but if you happen to see it you remember. Like candy they preferred, hobbies, or different kinds of food.
