Eh it’s alright I’m not like stressed about my final project or anything but it’s stoping me from actually working on my comic and it’s kinda annoying.

And I’m also giving back my project 4 days before my bday how fun 🙄🙄

Sammy and Charlie fluff!

The creaking of his bed awoke Sammy from his sleep, he turned over to see what it was. In the darkened room, Sammy could just make out the figure of Charlie sliding into his bed. She quickly scoots over to him, wrapping her arms tightly around him and bringing him closer to her.

Charlie’s head rested on his shoulder, but he could feel something hard on her face.

“You okay?” He whispers to her, slowly pushing her away just enough to see her face. She responded with a shaky breath and a tiny sniffle, then looked up at her brother.

“Yeah, I’m fine. Just..cold.”

Looking closer at her, Sammy could tell she was wearing goggles, barely making out the outline of them covering her eyes. He moved his hands to her face, which she stopped.

“What?” She asked shakingly. “You.. don’t think I look cool in them?”

“That’s not why you’re wearing them, is it?”

Charlie was about to respond, but then stopped. She sighed.

“I’m like an open book to you, huh?” She chuckled, hoping to lighten the mood. Which gave Sammy the opening he needed to lift the goggles off her face.

“Wait-“

A small tear trickled down her cheek, his suspicions were right.

“..nightmare?” He asked quietly and gently.

“..I.. I didn’t want you to worry is all..”

“You shouldn’t have to hide these things from me. I’m your brother, it’s kinda my responsibility to know if something’s wrong.” He lifted Charlie’s face to meet his own, watching more tears trickle down her face.

Eventually, Charlie broke down into uncontrollable sobs and gasps. She hugged Sammy tighter, burying her face in his shoulder.

Sammy ‘shh’ her repeatedly, running his hand up and down her back. In between her sobs, he heard her say ‘Don’t leave me.’ ‘Never leave me.’

“It’s okay..” he cooed. “I’m not going anywhere, I promise..”

The twins embraced one another tightly, until Charlie eventually cried herself to sleep, while Sammy hummed her a song to ease her pain.
