New Fandom

When you find a new fandom, it’s just like to fall in love. You wake up and fall asleep with the thoughts about it. You memorize everything: all the dialogue lines, character’s history and hobbies; you read fanfiction and comics, listen to music, watch animations and try to find out everything about it. You go crazy. Every conversation you have ends up being a conversation about that fandom. Your all life is spinning around it. You can’t stop thinking about it. You need more.

But one day you wake up with a thought that it isn’t interesting for you anymore. You are trying to return these emotions back, you want to feel the way you felt a long time ago. It’s feels like a broken heart. You just “growing out” of that fandom. You feel nostalgic whenever you recall these memories, but now you are not obsessed by it and feel a bit empty.

After some time you found a new fandom. You fall in love again, you get obsessed, you get disappointed after “breaking up”.

It continues forever. You collect fandoms in your heart, just like a small pieces. And these pieces form you personality.

Imagine what kind of festivals the Gray Garden would have. Not just normal holidays like Halloween, Christmas, New Year’s etc
