Hello! I’m back and I just finished Persona 5 Royal. Super excited about it so I decided to carry that excitement over to the blog! Please send in your requests after reading the rules :)

Whar do you think it would be like if the phantom thieves had an s/o who was an anti-shadow weapon (think Aigis from persona 3)

*Thanks for requesting! Though, read the rules before requesting please! I only do a maximum of five characters per request. I picked five characters out of the thieves myself, but if you would like to request other characters then feel free to. Also, I haven’t actually gotten around to playing Persona 3, but I researched Aigis a bit. I made the reader more human-like though in order to make this a it easier on myself. I hope it’s not too off.

Akira Kurusu

Akira would outwardly be the calmest about it. It’s in his nature.

He likes to fiddle around with your various buttons, even if you tell him what they do when he asks. He needs to satiate his curiosity. Likely to scrape his nails across your screws absentmindedly when anxious.

If someone were to make rude comments about you, he’d put his arm across your shoulders and lead you away. I would bank on a few choice words from him if they continue to pester you. He may be quiet, but in no way is he a coward.

Takes a few seconds every battle admiring you and watching you work. If you deal a finishing blow or a particularly strong attack then expect to see that signature smirk of his.

Ryuji Sakamoto

Ryuji is an amped version of Akira. Visualise a puppy and you’ve got yourself Ryuji.

Very excited to go through your many functions and play around with you. He may get too excited, so make sure to stop him before you overload, along with a kiss or two to stop him from sulking.

Unlike Akira, the instance someone says something remotely rude to you, he makes sure they don’t leave with all their limbs intact.

Always showing you off, to everyone, everywhere. Situation doesn’t matter, unless you’re in trouble. Then he’s panicking.

Often worried about you when you aren’t in his field of vision. He knows you’re capable, but he is protective by nature so please keep him updated.

Yusuke Kitagawa

Yusuke was drawn to you, even more-so than he was with Ann.

You are his muse, forever and always. Your entire existence is an enigma to him and he finds immense beauty in it.

If you are to ever feel self-conscious about him only seeing you as a machine, he will try his best to uplift you with the flowery prose you love him for. He could go on forever if you so desired.

With Yusuke, you’ll likely never feel jealous. Save for that time he got Valentine’s chocolate, but regardless of that he’s only ever watching you. The rest of the thieves tease him endlessly for it, yet he still retains the habit. He can’t help it.

Futaba Sakura

Completely geeks out. It’s pretty cute, actually.

Prepare yourself for hundreds of questions, ranging from your origin to the nitty-gritty of your coding.

Another one you may feel self-conscious around from the constant reminder that you are a machine. You’ll need to explain to her why you’re upset, even then she may not understand because she’d love to be in your shoes, but she’ll apologise because she loves you.

If you’ll allow her to, she’ll tinker with your coding. Sometimes she adds useless features like that one time she gave you an orange-squeezing feature when she got lazy, but more often than not they’re a guise for when she adds underlying protective features in your code. If you notice this, she grows bashful and convinces you it’s purely for your own benefit, in no way is it to make her worry less for you on the battlefield. No way. Not in a million years.

Please kiss her when this happens.

Makoto Nijima

Tied with Akira with who’s the most chill about it. Though, she doesn’t tease you, unlike him.

Enjoys hearing you talk about your functions instead of trying them out herself.

Also likes hearing about your past.

You often forget you’re an android when you’re with her because she’ll treat you just the same.

She has a short-temper with people making bad comments about you. She’ll tell them off and will hold you afterwards while whispering sweet words in your ear.

Makoto is overall the same for the most part, sweet and caring.

She won’t let Futaba lay a hand on you, though.

Hey, I understand if you’d rather not do this prompt, but would you be willing to do headcanons of Ryuji reacting and helping his S/O when they’re on their period? Again, completely understand if you don’t wanna do it.

You suddenly feel a burning pain, and groan when you realize what it is

You are well prepared for your periods, and while you are trying to take care of it, Ryuji pops in

He’s confused, but he manages to reach a conclusion

While he would normally joke, he cares about you too much

He asks if you need anything, and you tell him you only need his company as you have everything else

He still tries to take charge though, telling you to lie down if needed ans handing you anything you ask for

“I know how effin’ painful it can be. Ma always tends to remind me, heh.”

He then goes out, saying he’ll be right back

He brings you ice cream!

You grin and scoff it down as he watches you

He pulls you into a hug and lets you know that he’d do anything for you

Akira can tell that you’re up to something, but plays along

“Oh, the universe? Whatever do you mean?”

You giggle, cusping your hands to throw him off

He stares, hand to his chin

You hold your hands up to his face as he puts his down

You then uncusp them, grabbing at and holding his cheeks

He realizes what you meant instantly, and his grin rises as he pulls you into a hug

“You are the universe to me as well, thank you…”

Yusuke

Yusuke is super confused

How can you hold the universe in your hands? Is it a new Persona power Would it cause damage to the world? 

His face shows total bewilderment and you almost panic for a second before reassuring him

He seems to calm down some but is still super curious

You then holds your hands to his face

He takes a moment before he gets it

His face lights up, but he still keeps his composure and puts his hands on top of yours

Indefinite Hiatus

Hello, Mod Golden here.

It’s about time I addressed this. This blog is now on indefinite hiatus.

The rest of the mods have decided not to work on this blog anymore, and I have lost passion. Therefore, this blog will now be inactive forever unless I regain passion.

I’m so sorry it took me to address this, and with such sad news. I hope that all 1,168 of you understand, and can find what you’re looking for elsewhere.

So how would all of them panthom thieves react if their S/O ( a perona user too) got hurt for protceting them agianst a very porwerful shadow (like jumping in front attack meant for them) ?

Takes place in the same universe as this and this (spoiler warning for the first one).

The first instinct Akira has is to drop to his knees and take his s/o in his arms, but as the leader he knows he can’t break formation in the middle of a battle. Instead, he directs for healing to be administered to them immediately and continues the battle.

He hates it though. He knows that at this time he has to choose between being his s/o’s lover and being the leader of the Phantom Thieves and he feels awful for choosing the latter even if his s/o doesn’t blame him for it.

When the battle is finished, he personally checks on them and makes sure they’re healed up properly. If he thinks they need more rest, he’ll swap them out immediately.

Ryuji immediately breaks formation, gathering up his s/o in his arms in a complete panic. He yells at them for taking that hit for him, tells them he could have taken that hit just fine, why did they do that?

This is exactly why he didn’t want them to join the Phantom Thieves in the first place, he was worried about this kind of thing happening. He calls for someone to come and heal his s/o in a choked voice and only reluctantly leaves their side to return to the battle.

After the battle, he tells his s/o to switch out with someone, even if they insist that they’re fine. He can’t watch them fight anymore. Not today at least. His mind would be filled with the image of their body collapsing the whole time if they did.

Ann looks at the scene in shock for a moment, eyes wide behind her mask, not moving at all, before screaming out her s/o’s name, not their code name but their real name. She immediately summons Carmen to heal them and cries, begging them to stay conscious.

She knew that her s/o always had her back. She depended on them a good deal for support during battle, but she never expected for them to take an attack for her like that.

She stays by her s/o’s side for the rest of the battle, tagging out with someone else so she can take care of them and give them any additional healing they may need.

As Yusuke moves forward to catch his s/o before they could fall to the ground, the transparent impression of Goemon reaching out for Houdini was also imprinted in the minds of everyone watching. Yusuke shakes his s/o desperately and tells them to stay with him.

He rejoins the battle after handing his s/o off to a healer and puts his all into taking down the Shadow who did them harm. Then he immediately returns to his s/o to check on them and make sure they’re all right.

He’d might even carry his s/o if he felt like they needed more rest, despite their protests that they could walk on their own. He doesn’t have the highest strength stat for nothing, he could carry them bridal style with ease, much to their embarrassment.

Makoto is torn. She wants to heal her s/o immediately, but she also doesn’t want to jeopardize the battle if there is something else she needs to be doing. She makes sure to let Akira know that her s/o needs healing before he gives out their next orders.

For the rest of the fight, she’s all fists and fury, absolutely tearing into the Shadow. But really, she’s more angry at herself than at it. She should have been able to cover herself so that her s/o wouldn’t have to take that hit for her.

After the battle, Makoto is at her s/o’s side, checking them for injuries and preforming any further healing needed, all while chastising them about being so reckless even if it was for her sake.

There are some spoilers beyond this point.

Futaba should have been safely away the danger. As the support, she always stayed back during the battles. But this time they were surrounded and there was no break in the Shadow’s formation where she could get to safer position. And when a Shadow reared it���s ugly head toward her, her s/o shoved her out of the way, taking the hit themselves.

The guilt set in instantly and Futaba’s support was shaky at best for the rest of the battle, unable to focus on anything other than her s/o collapsed on the ground next to her.

As soon as the battle ends, her s/o isn’t the only one who needs healing, but Futaba begs Morgana to heal them first and apologizes over and over. She needs to know that they’re all right. She’s lost herself in guilt over a loved one before and she just can’t do it again.

The scream that Haru lets out at the moment the Shadow strikes her s/o rings out loudly in the open space of the Metaverse. For a moment, the rest of the Thieves think she’s been struck as well but then she flies at the Shadow in a blind rage.

Haru regrets her lack of healing skills. If she had any, she’d have remained at her s/o’s side and cared for them. But all she can do is leave them to a healer and run a rampage with Milady on the Shadow that hurt them.

After the battle, she’s at her s/o’s side immediately, trying and failing to hold back tears and asking if they’re all right, hugging them tightly when they tell her they are. She’s so overwhelmed, she may have to tag out for the rest of the day.

Goro just stands there for a moment, watching blankly as his s/o falls to the ground, having trouble processing all the emotions running through him at the moment. But he gathers himself quickly and returns to the fight, mentioning that his s/o requires healing at the next available opportunity.

He fights through gritted teeth through the rest of the battle, working to remain efficient and get through it as quickly as possible. Internally, he berates himself. He has much more experience in this world than they do. He should have been the one protecting them. How could he let himself be so careless?

After the battle is finished, he checks in with his s/o, finally allowing just how worried for them he was to show and apologizing for his carelessness. He knows he won’t let it happen again. Soon he’ll make it so that his s/o won’t have to come back to this place ever again...

Bonus: Human!Morgana -

Morgana isn’t prepared for his s/o to go down. One second, they were standing by his side as they always did and the next they were sprawled on the ground in front of him.

His immediate concern is to heal them enough that they can tag out and get back from the danger and then he properly focuses on the Shadows the group is fighting, putting his all into the battle even more so than usual.

When the threat is gone, he goes to his s/o and preforms any further healing they might need. He tries not to let how shaken he is show. He knew better than any of them just how dangerous the Metaverse was, but he had always thought he could protect his s/o from anything. It was a very jarring way to find out that this wasn’t true.

Ryuji's s/o is a kpop idol and he's worried about their health since they have to work so hard and about how so many guys will be wanting to date her and he starts to feel insecure.

Ryuji finds it interesting to be dating a K-pop star

He isn’t big on the genre himself 

He still tries to be as supportive as he can be

He’ll blast their music all the time

They do tend to work too hard often, however 

Ryuji hates seeing them extremely tired and usually has to force them to sleep

He doesn’t like doing it but he knows he has to

His S/O usually ending up showing their thanks

“I can’t believe I’m becoming Morgana”

There’s also the fact that Ryuji is very insecure 

He’s always afraid that they’ll leave for another person

His S/O assures him that they won’t

He still has some doubts but they usually go away when they smile

Then he’ll boast about himself and they laugh 

“I’m a great guy! No one could beat out me!” “Of course not. You’re the only guy for me, Ryuji.”

Imagine if Ryuji had managed to work himself through a marathon, and finishing despite his limp. How would the crew celebrate? Did any try to do it with him?

Akira manages to convince Ryuji to start track again

Supporting him thoughout his whole effort

Akira is also the one to convince him to enter a marathon

Ryuji is hesitant, but ultimately agrees 

Akira trains with Ryuji, even if he won’t be participating himself

Ryuji is happy to have someone helping keep morale high

The marathon takes place, and while Ryuji is a but scared, he tries his best

He ends up finishing in a very high postion, which really surprises him

He knew he wouldn‘t win, but it’s still nice 

Akira decides to prepare a celebration for him

The Phantom Thieves end up celebrating with diner 

Ryuji, of course, wants ramen

No one is opposed, and the night turns out well

So Akira confesses to Ryujs as a birthday gift and is all confidant about it, and Ryuji is blushing intensely (because you know he loves Joker lol)

Ryuji with a male S/O who always challenges him to a race?

Ryuji probably initially decided to date them for their passion to run

Happy that his S/O can enjoy what he used to love

His S/O is also determined to get him to run once more

That’s why they’ll challenge him to races every so often

While he groans, Ryuji does enjoy their passion

He always agrees, even anticipates it sometimes

Usually his S/O does win, which drives his passion even further

It turns into a training regime, to help Ryuji find his form again and his S/O get even better

It takes some time, but Ryuji does manage to improve his skills once more, even with his fractured leg

It makes his S/O very happy, and him gleeful in return

It would become a daily activity, and their way of bonding

Ryuji is very thankful to them

He’s happy he can enjoy running again, and this time, with someone he loves

They tend to spend most of the day together

When they hang at their homes, they enjoy eating sweets and playing games together

They also love to cuddle while they play

His S/O smothering him with kisses

He’ll laugh, almost giggle, and also kiss them back

They’re very affectionate in private, and flirty in public

When they’re hang out with the other Phantom Thieves, they’ll jokingly make gross noses

The two will play and laugh along

They would have a very healthy relationship

Both really good for each other

The phantom thief girls with a female s/o who constantly jokes about certain fictional characters being their wife or queen. (If you make it gender neutral it's chill btw)

Seeing the silly, love struck grin that her s/o had on their face, Ann couldn’t help but peek over their shoulder to get a look at their phone. “What are you looking at that’s got you so happy?” she asked playfully.

Her s/o excitedly showed her their screen, proclaiming “I got my dream UR! It’s Marine Nozomi! My Washi-Washi queen has come home! Isn’t she perfect?”

Ann just blinked at the screen for a second. That had not been what she was expecting. But seeing her s/o so happy could never be a bad thing and so she gave them a smile back and listened to them go on about their game and show off all their favorite cards.

This Nozomi character though… Are pigtails and big boobs just s/o’s type or something?

“Hey, language,” Makoto scolded lightly as her s/o screamed “Fucking Queen!” at the television screen. They gave her a sheepish, apologetic look. “But did you see how Revy just took out all those guys like it was nothing?”

Makoto smiled slightly. She was glad that she’d let her s/o talk her into watching this show, even though she wasn’t usually big on anime. The genre was right up her ally and she could understand where their admiration of the character in question came from.

“But [Name], just remember,” she said, wrapping an arm around her s/o and whispering in their ear, “I’m your queen.”

Futaba knew it was bad to snoop. And she totally trusted her s/o, so she had no reason to. But a 2.5 GB folder titled “Wife” on their computer did look awfully suspicious. It wouldn’t hurt to take just a peek, right?

Upon clicking the folder open, she immediately started to laugh wondering why she had ever worried about it in the first place. Of course her s/o wasn’t cheating on her. They would never.

But she’d have to have a talk to them about how Rin, not Saber, was the true wife of that game.

“My wife is so cute!” Haru heard her s/o cooing to their friend over the phone. She felt herself blush. She was flattered that her s/o thought that way about her, but it wasn’t as though they had really discussed marriage yet.

But those warm and fuzzy feelings immediately vanished when the follow-up was “I just love how precious Rem is!” Now just who the feckity heckity was Rem? The room turned cold as Haru glared at her s/o, preparing to question them thoroughly when their conversation was over.

Boy was she embarrassed when Rem was an anime character.

I've been reading older fanfics from before news of the metaverse so akira is wearing his pt outfit in the real world. just the thought of it applying to cannon makes me laugh so how would s/o and other pt members react to finding out akira has a 1-to-1 replica of his joker costume in his closet?

The leader sat on his bed, head facing down. His charcoal eyes glancing up, watching his team members wearily.

“Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude! This is so effin’ cool!!” Ryuji exclaims as he looks at the mannequin that was propped over at the corner of the attic. The other Phantom Thieves were also in said room, looking at awe by the fact that the actual outfit that Joker wore in the Metaverse, was sitting right there. 

“Wow! It actually looks like the real thing, I’m impressed.”

“How’d you even get it here?”

Their leader blushed and fiddled with his collar. “It’s… actually kinda embarrassing.” 

“Huh? I didn’t know that our leader could get embarrassed!” 

“Especially with how extravagant he is in the Metaverse.”

You looked at Akira, it was kinda cutenice to see him embarrassed, “Yeah yeah, where did you get that?” You asked him curiously. Of course he couldn’t have brought that from the Metaverse, that was physically and metaphysically impossible. 

Akira stood up quickly and shoved the mannequin away. “Well, there’s nothing to see here anymore. Why don’t we get to discussing our plans for the next Palace-”

“Oh no, hell no! We are not going to move on from this so quickly. Where’d you get it dude, like, what the eff?!”

Morgana looked like he was just about to say something but a glare from Akira made him shut up. “Can we just move on from this? It’s not like it’s any important.”

“Akira sews.” Futaba casually dropped.

“Futaba!” He squeaks out. He pinched his nose. “I forgot you have this place bugged.”

The team suddenly bugged Akira with his wonderful hobby. They totally wanted one for themselves.

VAGUE SPOILERS UNDER CUT

“Ain’t that right... Leader?”

“Yes. Before that happens, we will take this country!”

The crowd cheered in Shibuya, the loud cheers of excitement made the Thieves blood rush. The final boss, one final battle. One.. last time, they we’re going to steal this corrupted adult’s heart.

“Hey Akira?” Their leader looked up as he removed his gloves, letting out a small hum of acknowledgment. “How in the world did you make this so quickly?”

“Level 5 Proficiency.”

Akira

At first he just stood there.  Looking at the cake, then back at you, the cake, you, then back at the cake.

He frowns and looks back at you.

The frown on his face worried you, that doesn’t really mean good things.

“Aren’t we already dating?”

You smack him in the face and he hugs you.

Ryuji

He just straight up eats the cake. He doesn’t read it. He just. Eats it.

“The cake’s really great! It’s so effin’ delicious!” 

You just stare at him in disbelief. “Did--did you even read what the cake said?”

...silence...

“There was something written on it?”

“Ryuji, I was asking for you to be my...”

And he laughs as you blush. He gets the context. He hugs you and kisses you on the forehead.

“Of course I will.”

Yusuke

He’s very flattered. The cake, for one, is his aesthetic. It’s wonderful, it’s beautiful.

And he reads it. He looks at you. He says your name. “Yes, of course I will!” 

And you both eat the cake.

I mean by ‘you both’ I meant, mostly him.

Let the poor boy eat.

You end up baking him more sweets to eat. It fills him with more energy.

Goro

He’s very shocked. 

Not really, but the though of dating you was shocking.

He’s a celebrity, the Detective Prince. It really wouldn’t be fine dating him, the schedules and such.

Though your look was something that he could not back down from.

“I don’t care about the paparazzi. If it’s you there’s nothing that can make me un-love you!”

He glances away at that and hugs you tight.

“I could say just exactly the same.”

Mishima

To be completely honest, he’s shook.

Why would such an amazing person like you??? want to date him??

He’s low-key panicking about it.

He stutters a lot. “N-n-nnnnnnnn..... Y-ye? I m-mean ye-yes?”

You hug him really tightly and you just sob because he;s such a good bean.

Human!Morgana

He kneels on the floor on one knee and kisses your hand.

He’s such a ladies’ man.

He says “Of course, would there be a reason to decline?”

Your face flushes. And he grins at you.

Imagine if Haru discovered her S/O was saving up to get her something

Haru usually wondered where you went. She’d already noticed that you’d disappear around evening. The thief didn’t dare ask where you’d go but one day she got curious enough to follow you. 

The night was dark, the streets were only illuminated by the soft glow of the street lamps. You went down to the trains and took the line towards Shinjuku. Letting out sigh, you went into Crossroads bar. “Hey Lala-chan.” You greet as you made your way to the changing room. Once you got out of the room, you immediately set to work and helped out the bar-owner. 

“I heard you’re over-working yourself.” Lala says to you, wanting a little bit in on the gossip.

You let out a small nod. “I’m not really, say, overworking myself. I know my limits Lala-chan. I’m just working a bit more than usual. I need to earn money for my... girlfriend.” 

This was the only way you could help Haru in her dream of achieving her own small cafe. You remember how her eyes lit up when she’d been talking about it, but you saw how she’d droop every time she’d feel guilty if she took even a bit of money for the cafe.

So this is where you were, going on multiple part-time jobs to help Haru, even just by a little bit.

“Ah, Haru-chan was her name?”

You nod. “Of course, for who else would I be working this hard.”

From outside the bar, Haru smiled. To think that you were working hard, saving up for her.

As much as sweet as that was, you were going to get a talk later.
