Cetus Wall lamp at Maison et Object 2015 - This year we went with our partners from LUZZA to Maison et Object 2015. The beautiful Cetus wall brought a new fresh design to the brands at the stand, and it looked amazing on this wall with all this pictures. So when you can peel that back and show that these are men chasing their passion, fulfilling their dreams, and making a living in the most competitive of atmospheres, then as a photographer you want to find the parts that make them human.” For twenty-four seasons, Rod has photographed the Seahawks—first as an intern, then for the newspaper, and now for the team. “My goal is to make one great picture everyday,” he says. “Everything that I do comes from that approach. The Light of Cetus

The common concept of Light we are all familiar with, is the part of the electromagnetic radiation spectrum that is visible to the human eye (referring to the frequencies between infrared and ultraviolet). There are a few concepts attached to visible light such as intensity reflexion, absorption that ultimately influence our sense of sight. 

When designing a lamp one should take this into serious consideration. Not every lamp is supposed to illuminate an entire room, or to be especially for reading. Some lamps light beam is meant to reflect on the wall (reflexion wise, the color of that wall is very important), whilst other are supposed to illuminate a specific spot. 

The Cetus lamp family is a different experiment.

It's meant create a memorable light beam that will allow different textures on the ambience.

Nothing is more beautiful than the stars in the Night Sky, this video is the proof of that, what a better way of capturing this amazing pictures. The perfect way to explain ZAM Lighting story telling. "During the night, while the sun is not looking, the sky is covered with millions of sparkling stars. Too many for a sane man to count.

The elders believed that the Gods used the night sky as an art board to draw what they imagined for Earth. They used it to design the future. This is why some people can read the future in the stars. Because in some fantastical reality, this is the actual truth.

The night sky is like an art museum you attend every day. Stars don’t need your full attention. Don’t try to be more than they are. They embellish your ceiling while you sleep. They guide you when you’re lost. They tell you where you are and what time it is. They are part of your life.

Without the stars, the night sky would only be black. A blackboard of forgetfulness. Without light there can only be fear.

To Light something up is the ability to illuminate darkness. 

Light is fearless. Light is life.
