finished the first avengers movie and since captain marvel is placed so early chronologically I do find it a bit peculiar that SHIELD had been holding onto the tesseract from.the 90s up until Thor showed up and never entertained the notion that since they encountered both the Skrull and Kree empires in the 90s that they would need to do something sooner about Phase 2.

It's my very tenative understanding based on only what I know from all the mcu movies and a bit of agents of shield that the Phase deployment of the movies reflects the Avengers Initiative plan that Fury wrote at the end of captain marvel.

Plot holes be plot holes but I do find it awkward and wonder if this was addressed somewhere else.

Also I didn't remember that iron man actually *saw* thanos' ship when he put the nuclear bomb through the tesseracts portal and I cannot recall currently if that ever got followed up on. I feel like he'd be the type to just pretend that entire situation didn't happen (iron man 3) but since we don't actively see thanos again until his cameo in the first guardians? Another lingering question.

(rolling over the fact that thanos is *technically* referred to as an eternal in the mcu, making him part of one of the worst comic book canons in a roundabout way)

I am currently rewatching the full MCU comprehensive list as I just got caught up on WandaVision and I'm at the first Thor movie and I gotta say I have a screaming dislike for how the Jane Foster/Thor romance is set up and paced.

I don't particularly care for them as a couple--I find Wanda/Vision, Steve/Peggy and Tony/Pepper more compelling (for on-screen couples anyways) but I think it has more to do with the specific dynamic of a couple that isn't instantly drawn to one another, they just have plot contrivances?

I also love a strong female persona who takes more of the offence when it comes to person to person interactions. Personally I feel it stems from the fact that the romance wasn't intended to be a focal point of the Thor movie so it's just ridiculously rushed feeling. Jane really pinning after a man she had one conversation about the universe with, like, ooof girl.

(Also have strong sentiments about how Jane Foster in the MCU is less a character and more of an attractive object but hopefully Love and Thunder can fix that)

I need to talk about the height of my crazy undertale fandom, which was summer of 2017 when I made myself a Sans doll. It is by far the most cursed plush that I own and I made it with my own two hands.

I've been sewing things since I was seven but when I was in college I started working at a joann fabrics and I started working on a lot of projects. I made a lot of plush and stuffies since I had a lot of free time in college and my method of studying was primarily reading and video based so I would do idle things with my hands.

So:summer 2017. I was working in the physics laboratories at my school on research and I would bring sewing projects with me to pass time while I was waiting on results. I was very into undertale and after finishing my last project I decided I was going to make something undertale related and because even back then I was a dirty simp I wanted to make a Sans plush.

I got *minky* fabric. I had only been using fleece and cotton up until this point and I was going to challenge myself with minky.

This thing is THREE FEET TALL and made of white minky fabric and black flannel.

I made it with my own two hands in a heccing material science laboratory while I was waiting on my computer to return simulation calculations and for my sample materials to cook.

It has to be a cursed object if only because of that but since I recently found it in my college items I have decided that Sans doll deserves respect and I am going to finish making the wardrobe I had planned for it.
