I had a Amazing Digital Circus dream the other night. Kinger's wife, Queenie was "brought back to life", and she had a Minnesota accent. I cannot unhear this. If Queenie ever gets a canon voice, and it's not with that accent, I'm going to be upset.

(It was so cute too! She had taken Kinger's hands in hers and went something like, "Oh hey there sweetie~💕". IT WAS ADORABLE!)

Happy Valentine's Day! 💖

The hazbin team does such a good job representing Alastor in their Valentine's merch, keeping him modest yet still so very handsome. I love the outfits they've given him, and I was motivated to capture them in sketch form.

Could I take a higher quality picture? Yes. Am I feeling too lazy to do so? Also yes. But I still felt like sharing, so here ya go.

It felt good to sit down and produce a finished piece of artwork I put some real time and effort into. It's been too long. And I'm very pleased with my results. Since this was going to be made into a physical object, I wanted to make it look good and to my satisfaction. ^w^

A lovely coworker of mine said they wanted to make a keychain for me as a Christmas gift. I was very delighted, and finally finished the artwork that I wanted to be made into said keychain. ^w^

I have such amazing coworkers! They really make my job for me.

I come into my shift today (just working a short closing shift for Christmas Eve), and my coworkers surprised me by giving me a card they signed, AND A WACOM TABLET THEY ALL PITCHED IN TO GET ME!!!

These lovely turkeys had been scheming to get me something since November, and I was just blown away. I wasn't expecting anything, but these wonderful people I get to work with just had to go and reciporcate their feelings of appreciation and generousity.

I was so filled with joy I was shaking. Caffienated with happiness! And I just had to take a quick moment to gush about them here, though words really aren't enough to capture the true nature of it all.

Hurricane Helene Relief

To any fellow Americans (or generous international folks) who want to help donate towards the efforts to assist those devastated by Hurricane Helene, I highly recommend Samaritan's Purse.

They are an organization I've trusted for years.

It is unfortunate that we have organizations that base themselves on the guise of charitable effort and take people's heart-felt, generous money and do not put it where it was meant to go (Red Cross and FEMA looking rather poor right now). So if you want to donate, but not to Samaritan's Purse, please be on watch for reliable and honest groups.

I dreamt Alastor was in The Little Mermaid last night, and in thinking how the movie would go down with him in it, well.. it spurred this. XD

Wanted to share some of the step by step process behind my commission made by @bananadramaaa.

I first start with the explanation for what I'm looking to have made, and share pictures and rough drawings for visual example.

Once the initial details are settled, they get to work and come back first with their sketch concepts of my person to get a handle on how to draw me and inquire how I'd like to look for the final product.

After decisions are set there for my design, they go back into the sketch design phase for the overall look of the commission and come back with some different examples for possible directions.

I take a look and put together a rough draft for what tickles my fancy, making sure that it's alright with the artist to make the commission's format bigger/longer than initially planned.

Once we're all good there, they come back with what essentially becomes the final product (both in color and grayscale after I asked if I got get both).

And that's basically how the commission process went with @bananadramaaa. They were most pleasant to work with, and I am pretty certain I'll be asking for another commission again in the near future (birthday's right around the corner!).

I am amazingly happy with my commissioned art made by the very artistically talented @bananadramaaa!

They draw Alastor unbelievable precious and silly and just so wonderfully himself, that I wanted to see how I too would look in their style and alongside the lanky goofball.

Pretty much my life motto at this point. You can also add "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding" - Proverbs 3:5. Basically I am holding onto hope and trust in my faith that God is a wholly good God and that in the end everything will be alright even when I don't know how yet.
