the fans running around, screaming and cheering had no idea what he was feeling right now. his hands were still shaking, his mind running wild and his heart aching.

that should've been his win. he loved oscar, truly, and he deserved a race win, and part of him felt bad that this was how oscar won his first race, but he was also pissed.

pissed it was ripped away from him like that. he knew technically oscar deserved to win, the deal was the one in front after lap one, won, and that wasn't him, but he also knew how hard he had worked.

his heart ached, and his hands craved hers. she was probably hiding in her drivers room, probably more upset for him then he was for himself.

as he left his final meeting, all he wanted was her. he craved her, and just knowing she was nearby, was enough to have him moving faster.

the tv plays quietly in the background, but all he can focus on is the way her heart beats faster as he touches her. she runs her hands through his hair, taking comfort in how soft it feels, and how natural them being together feels.
