I literally had to go google Nathan because I knew literally nothing about him lol. Hope you enjoy this though, I tried my best!

Nathan stared up at the night sky, hands balled into fists. 

“Goddammit Nathan… Don’t get weak now…” he mumbbled to himself. He had fallen in love. He had f**king fallen in love. With the ghost he had befriended none the less! The mear thought of the other brought a warms to Nathan’s face. He groaned, flopping onto his back. “How are you supposed to save your sister if you’re weak…” 

“There you are, you really make it hard to find you.” 

Speak of the devil- Nathan sat up and turned to see Pupetteer, eyes glowing in the darkness. Nathan only turned away, eyes re-focused on the sky. 

“That’s kind of the point.” he replied. He didn’t need to look back to know Pup had sat next to him, the sudden coolness at his side. It was… weirdly comforting, the feeling that had pulled him back to reality so many times when he went berzerk. “Why were you looking for me anyways? Did ya need something?” Nathan asked, trying to push aside the previous thought. 

“I- Actually, I had something I wanted to talk about.” 

“What is it?” 

“Well uh- I like someone, actually.” 

Nathan turned to the other, tightening his grip on his jacket. 

“Oh. Well good for you.” 

He turned away, hoping the other couldn’t sense emotions other than sadness. He was angry, he was annoyed ,and he was jealous. Actually jealous. 

“Yeah, they’re amazing. We have so much in common, spend quite a lot of time together, way too hard on themself at times,” He turned the other’s head to face him, a smile on the ghost’s face, “beautiful eyes.” 

Nathan’s face turned red and he pulled form the other’s grip. 

“W-Wait- You like me? N-No- That- This-” 

The other brushed a hand over his cheek, distractign the other. It was cool against his skin and felt nice. 

“Well, yeah. Do you- Feel the same about me?” 

Nathan only nodded, leaning against the other’s hand. It felt nice, comfortable, safe. Before he could stop himself, Nathan pressed his lip’s against the other’s, putting his arms around him. Pup was shocked for a moment, but quickly kissed back. Nathan pulled back to breathe, keeping his arms around the other. 

“And just to be clear, Nathan, this feeling isn’t weakness.”
