Game I HATED Life is strange 4 but I'm really enjoying Lost Records by Dontnod so far. Huge IT vibes with the past and present storylines. It's also really nice to play as it's released. It will come out in two parts and now were waiting for the second one to drop. I'm so upset Kat isn't in the present storyline and i really hope we get to see adult Swan.

Movie Okayyyy hear me out. I rewatched Traumschiff Surprise for the first time since being obsessed with it as a kid and i LOVED it. Was is problematic back then if thats the only german gay roles that there are? Sure ig. But I feel like the jokes are done in a way that if gay people could make them about themselves and if that woud have been what happened I'd love that. The comedy is so good i had such a good time. And also this combination of gay and bavarian dialect is something you dont hear anymore because the gays are all talking english now. I wish this was getting a sequel instead of Schuh des Manitu. This is our Monty Phython. I also HATE the first pictures of the Wuthering Heights movie. I will only accept the 2011 version maybe. Idk why it's not a bit more popular. Also im like 2/3 done with the second season of Twin Peaks and im sorry to say, I remember why I never made it through. The vibes are still good but I have no idea where were going with this.

Febuary

Oh shit I forgot febuary was a thing! Tbh i'm rewatching Twin Peaks and Scream (why are all the actors making a comeback???) again but I already talked about those. Did I do anything else? Movie

Okay so apperetly I did watch one movie that was not Scream (great), Star Wars (ok) or Bodies Bodies Bodies (bad). Cowboys is the only trans movie I know that is like actually pretty good (hated Mutt why would you do that). There was only one single line where I was like... meh a child wouldn't say that about being trans probably. But otherwise. Well done. And like enough other things happening so thats not even focussed on that much. The dad is such a great actor?? Also love cowboys.

short Music Im obsessed with... the radio. (I got my old record player back in Vienna and it has radio reception) I feel like the media i consume is so floaty and detached because the internet is so big and timeless. So listening to a live local radiostation ist just so grounding and comforting. Also I usually only get new music from TikTok or going out nowadays. So i like getting new music in the way its supposed to be lol. Wenn die FPÖ genau jetzt fm4 verbietet schrei ich. So i guess the soundtrack to this month is live.

Book I read The Midnight Library. Was good. Had to sop for a whil inbetween because it gave me an existential crisis. My friend wrote a beautiful inscription on the first page.

Show I'm watching For the love of Dilfs with my friend after the gym every week. Game I dont want to support it but i have to admit its good.

Finished Salems Lot and it was good. Finished Life is Strange Double Exposure and it was BAD. The story didn't go anywhere. Life

Me and my friend started "movie club" where we watch a movie at the same time and just text the whole time. It's such a good concept because when I watch with friends online I have to wear headphones and the talking is hard to understand next to the movie. Also I always need to do an activity next to watching anyways AND you can text wayyy more than would be socially acceptable to talk. like please try it this is the perfect form of existing for me. (also were very funny but he wont let me post it)

Movie

After we finished the Scream franchise (1 and 4 are the best, 5 ist the worst) like this i recommended Jennifers Body. I knew he liked Scott Pilgrim and I feel like Jennifers Body is the horror comedy version of that. On my Letterboxd i have only 10 5 star rated movies and thats one of them. But i think this is the one I would show most people because I feel like its objectively SO GOOD. the only thing i'd critique is the intro... didn't need that. but even the credits. man. oh I really wanna check out the german translation I'm sure its awful.

Music This is a very weird time to get into her but I started listeing to a lot of M.I.A.. I love Come Around because it was in Wild Child. Me and my best friend used to watch that movie so much we'd know the diagloue by heart. (Also imagine a mashup of Bad Girls and Rockstar by Lisa) In summer I really liked MGMT because of Saltburn and this feels very similar. Nostalic but like... When it was popular I was too pretentious to listen to that stuff. Now I actually like to have a good time.

Music 2 Speaking of Saltburn.... I orderd the fucking cum vinyl. I thought about it when it first came out and didnt get it. But then I regretted it so much I set myself a reminder for the restock. I did an unboxing here. Maybe I'll take the good record player back to Vienna with me for that one. I can't believe we got Saltburn, Challengers and The Substance in one year. Cinema is healing.

I'm late! Music Okay so this technically happened on Halloween first but maybe it was after midnight to it counts. I really like Lady Gagas new song Disease. I was kind of obsessed with her when Paparazzi came out, back when I was still watching music videos on VIVA after school. And i mean she was also like the queer musician in my youth. But then I pretty much forgot about her for years besides hearing Born this Way at every queer event. But I was at a gay party on Halloween night, me and my friend covered in fake blood and he shouts: "It's the new Gaga!" and I suddenly felt exactly like how i imagined going out was like as a kid. The song sounds so much like her old stuff and they played it a few times since.

Movies I got my friend into Scream. He was livetexting me all the movies and he loved it even though hes not a horror guy. And then I was able to recommend stuff he might also like. Obvious Follow Up is Scary Movie and i think the most similar other franchise would be Final Desitnation. Saying Nightmare on Elm Strees just because its also Wes Craven and a slasher doesn't work a all in my opinion. So now I also stated rewatching Scream again. The fifth one was so bad but because six was pretty good im excited for seven. Also SCARY MOVIE COMEBACK with the og Wayans Brothers again.

faggots Game This is not a favorite... im playing Life is Strange: Double Exposure rn. Such a love hate relationship. Good game, AWFUL sequel. Also the switching timelines mechanic is SO annoying. But im SO invested in the story i genuinely can't tell where this is going.

We had an Over the Gardenwall watchparty with costumes and food and it was really sweet. The cat chose me.

I went to like a frat halloweenparty. And I went out on Halloween too. I love dressing up.

Movie

We watched The Substance and I really liked it. I think its one of hose movies that im kind of overly critical because its so close to being a 5/5 star one. But just noooot quite. But I love it when a good movie gets hyped. Deserved.

Books

Okay... I'm reading Stephen King again. Salems Lot this time. I just love fucked up small towns. My favorite genre of media.

I got reobsessed with The Bling Ring. And to be honest not even the movie but the real life event. I already knew the Coppola movie with Emma Watson doing the worst american accent ever. And I always knew that it was based on real life events. But what I didnt know is that the girls involved in the robberies were filming a reality tv show around the same time of the arrests. It's called Pretty Wild and parts of it are on youtube. Also the tiktok sound "She said i was wearing six inch Louboutins" is from there btw. I rewatched the movie too but tbh it wasnt even that great. They really did all this for 2009 fashion??

I was checking the Club U website before I went there last time and saw that they have live webcams? I mean they only take a picture every few minutes but still. And then I fell down a rabbit hole. Vienna has lots of those still around. Theres a collection here. Sure some are traffic cams but others are just in public places, cafes or restaurant kitchens? Very weird.

I am addicted to Dress to Impress on Roblox, thank you Martin. I never like online/multiplayer games but this one just scratches an itch. Maybe because the 12 year olds dont appreciate our niche pop culture references so we always get last place. You can see some of your duo looks on twitter. Btw speaking of: Martin visiting Vienna was also a favorite. And Phil too. <3

Book

The author of Die Wilden Kerle sent me his book early. I dont't really want to spoil it for others before its even out but just the gesture meant a lot to me. He brought the characters in a modern setting and while I still feel like he book needs a bit of work (I think its a draft) I really love where he took it. I love this frachise so much I did a TikTok Story about Wilde Kerle x DFB over the summer. Also I still think my DWK horse ranch Fanficion is my current magnum opus.

Oh no July was over very fast. (Joyland was as good as i expected but he threw in one weird sex scene of course) Movies

When I was a kid I had a portable DVD player and only like 10 DVDs. But they all had so many bonus features after the movie. Some even had little games to unlock the extra scenes and behind the scenes. I feel like now i just go to imdb after I finished it and read the trivia. But especially for older movies you can still find them on Youtube. Do they not do it for new movies anymore or am I just not buying DVDs? Need to look into that. Will report back. Theatre

I saw the Phantom of the opera in Vienna and tbh I was blown away. My parents always give me theatre tickets for any birthday or christmas so I have seen most of the big shows in Linz and Vienna over the years. I think I might have seen Phantom as a teenager in London but I cant remember it much. But this Vienna Production was crazy. Especially in contrast to the Falco Musical thats also running here this season. That one was like metal grid rooms with 3 props but THIS one. The stage constantly unfolded like a dollhouse, they had like 4 sets in one. And they had full on pyrotechnics and practical magic effects. One of the best live shows I have seen tbh. I also loved the movie when I was a kid (one of the 10 DVDs). On a rewatch I still love he beginning and overall vibe but it gets a bit boring tbh.

Book

I havent finished it but i'm reading "Joyland" by Stephen King. I was so surprised to find out its from 2013 because it feels so similar to his old work. He still got it i guess. And so far he's only been weird once. The book is about a guy in the 80s who goes to work at an amusement park over the summer. I was looking or something that felt very suthern gothic, blazing heat, horror and I ordered two books. Couldnt get into the first one yet but this one was PERFECT for that. It's a pretty light read but still keeps you interested. I also accidentally ordered it twince (one new, one used) because they said one couldnt be delivered. So now i take the used one everywhere and dont think about hurting it. Trying to maybe give the other one away or at least lend it to someone.

Life

When i went to my parents i brought home a disposeable camera nad my old camcorder. It's from 2013 and i got it for my confirmation. I feel like taking phone pictures is kind of awkward. Because people expect you to post them and get shy about it. But they react better with other cameras. Maybe it's just the novelty. I'll try to bring it around this summer and maybe make a longer video. Music

I knowww everybody is talking about her but i also love Chappell Roan. I think her music is always gonna remind me of this summer shes really taking over. I haven't been big into pop at all the last years. Liking current music makes me feel like i'm in 2009 watching the charts on viva. It's just really nice everyone agrees about her.

Movie

I think I watched it on the last days of May but I didn't mention Challengers. I feel like it is THE summer movie, like Barbie was last year. Even though I liked it A LOT I didn't love it as much as Luca Guadagninos other movies. Call my by your name and Bones and all are just very different mood wise and I think i prefer his melancholy. But the cinematography was more creative and i appreciate that a lot. I loved being the ball.

I really like when people reclaim the online space. Most of the stuff we use is owned by the same people and allows little creativity or personality. I love when people make personal artistic website projects or digital shrines. If you want to check out some there is a collection on Neocities. I kind of also want to make one now.

I am so late to the party but I recently started watching Friends. And I like it way more than I expected. Usually Soaps are hard for me because I'm only interested in a few of the characters and then have to watch B-Plot im not into half of the time. But here I really like all the characters. And I think I'm like the only person who went into this completely blind.

I'm not done yet but i read most of "We both Laughed in Pleasure" Diaries by Lou Sullivan this month. He was the first openly gay trans man/first transitioning gay trans man in the 70s/80s. I'm annotating this book like its a classic even though its mostly smut. Weird to see how little of the psychology aspect has changed. They really learned nothing. He died of AIDS related complications at 39. "I took a certain pleasure in informing the gender clinic that even though their program told me I could not live as a Gay man, it looks like I'm going to die like one."

I discovered Ethel Cain. I don't even know how I feel about her music like .. musically. Preachers Daughter is just such a good concept album. Spoilers I guess: It's about a catholic all american girl who ends up getting cannibalized in some attic. (I was also very into cannibalism this month. Replayed Andy and Leyley, watched Bones and all.) I love her lyrics. I'd read them just as poetry. I also love when artists make up a funny little persona. Do that more again.

Internet I started going through Flickr. In the early 2000s/2010s before social media people would upload their private photos there to share. I had an account too. Because I saw a blog credit Flickt for some of their posts I started searching stuff too. Sometimes just key words or aesthetics. But I started looking up the first pictures of gay couples and trans people on there. Or old pride marches. I'm thinking about maybe making a blog and collecting pictures too. Internet again Honorable mention because I teasered it: I love forcemasc tumblr. Let's pretend its ironic.

I know it's overhyped but I genuinely loved Saltburn. I loved the narrative, I loved that we dont have a typiscal protagonist, I love unreliable narrators. And sure I'm a fan of campy shots. The combination of this fancy manor and 2000s fashion just does it for me. Some people think the scenes are gross, others were expecting worse. I don't think they are even supposed to be gross yall are just boring and watch boring movies. Mybe drinking cum bathwater is a nice metaphor. Maybe im gay.

This is so embarassing. When I was a kid I was a big HP Fan. And I kind of distanced myself from the whole fandom with JKR and also bc im not 13 and a Ravenclaw anymore. But ... The marauder stuff finally got to me. I got some comments on tiktok that i have lupin vibes and my Pinterest started recomending content. So I'm reading All the Young Dudes now. I never read fanfiction before except for like some smut. So I was just scanning the chapters at first because I'm impatient. But on my work trip I started the audiobook. The story is super slow but (oh god I hat this) it feels nice to be back in this universe. Brb about to shift to my dog boyfriend.

Place

Another favorite is just randomly deciding to work from our Berlin office for a week because my best friend lives there. Berlin is kind of weird, stragers look a you and talk to you. Theres a lot of people with flowers on public transport and a lot of boken glass. The garbage people are loud. It's nice to get out sometime. Also love to join two men cuddling in bed (mattress on floor).
