school story of the day :3

okay so i had a quiz for honors chem today that i did NOT study for whatsoever, because of that i was a wee bit nervy about it but i just dealt with it yayayayayayya

and how my chem teacher did this quiz is he had an online portion of it and then a front and back paper part of it that was basically our short response portion of it (THIS IS IMPORTANT I SWEAR)

alr now we're getting into the good stuff, i get done with the online portion which i only missed one question on (yippee!!) and got done with the front side of the short response paper, but then the back side of it was graphing data tables to

a) identify the independent and dependent variables

and b) use the graph to identify to correlation between the data set

now when i tell you i couldn't remember the words "directional correlation" or "no correlation" for the LIFE OF ME...i mean that wholeheartedly.

so what did i decide to do instead of leaving it unanswered? i wrote "positive correlation" for the question that had directional correlation and FUCKING "NORMAL CORRELATION" FOR THE GRAPH THAT SHOWED NO CORRELATION BECAUSE IT KIND OF LOOKED LIKE A NORMAL DISTRIBUTION GRAPH FROM WHEN I TOOK AP PSYCH LAST YEAR 💔🥀

genuinely WHAT IS A "normal correlation"? it literally sounds like something that would be in a will wood song if it was yk an ACTUAL CORRELATION??1?1?1?1?1??22?

anyways i'm not peeved about it i just think it's funny and wanted to share this fact about my day okay bye guys <3

it's fucking weird how people will either sexualize, romantisize, or demonize mental illness and disorder

depression, romanticized, treated as a cute quirk in more mild cases, extremely demonized in severe cases, being considered "lazy" or being treated as a burden because of it level 1-2 autism- romanticized and sexualized, treated as a silly fun disorder, haha stims(i've seen people go "you're so autistic" if someone shows an extreme interest in something, its also something i've been told by past friends) level 2-3 autism - demonized, "whats wrong with them", treated as less of a person, spoken to like a child even if an adult adhd, treated the same as autism, a silly little quirk in more mild cases and treated like a burden in more severe, "you're so adhd" when you show interest in something or you're forgetful ocd, romantisized, "i like things neat, i'm so ocd!", people think its a cleaning disorder bpd, npd, schizophrenia, and bipolar are all examples of HEAVILY demonized disorders osdd and did got extremely romanticized and sexualized by tiktok anxiety is treated as "just being shy"

those are just the ones off the top of my head too, there's way more
