You’ve recently been taken over by a parasitic alien life form which frequently uses your body to lay waste to the city as the first step in their plan for world domination.

Except you’re a student and you don’t really care. You’re just trying to sort out a schedule with them so that they destroy the city outside of school hours.

Meanwhile, there’s always a superhero’s sidekick tied up in your basement, there’s always a half-finished superweapon being built in your house, there’s always a superhero trying to stop you and, just this once, you want to finish your homework on time.

I'd also like to mention my canon Zim and Gir are heavily inspired by all the character analyses that @dana-chan325 talks about! They get really deep into everyone's personalities and why they do things, and it's very interesting. I suggest checking out their stuff (and their comic lol)

Ah okay, so I shall be posting the first chapter soon. I wanted to get a few chapters done before hand, though, so I could just post them... and be ahead of the game?

I would like to inform some kiddos that this is far into the future for Zim and Dib. About the high school era. So Dib's realized that this fighting crap is dumb and Zim has not because he's a jackass. Although, they do form an alliance (after a long period of time). There are other things I really want to point out, but I feel it's best to point out in the story itself. One thing I will point out is that Zim has come to terms with being defective.

My personal theory on the matter, was that Zim had messed with his Pak in previous episodes to try and correct this "slight" error. Probably in hopes that no one noticed or cared, so he could get away with it as if he were never like that.

But after forming his alliance with Dib, he realizes the small matter of not being able to be fixed or corrected, goes through the emotional stress, and remembers that he's Zim and thinks way too highly of himself to be upset over being Zim.

So... yeah don't be thrown off if you read my story and you're thinking to yourself, "Why the hell is he so nonchalant about this??"

But I might mention it at some point. I don't know, to be completely honest.

Chapter 2

Dib inhaled the summer breeze, a slight smile upon his face. He loved the summer weather, though he died in his large, black trench coat. His hands were in the pockets, and he finally decided to take them out because of the heat.

He was coming up close to his destination, which was a large teal house. There was a time he hated that place, but after the alliance he had formed with the alien inside, he started to appreciate it more. It was years ago, and they grew closer as the time passed. He didn't know if he should consider them friends, but he did come over often now.

He never knew what it was about Zim, but he always found himself targeted to him. Dib started to think it was similarities in situations, but Zim said otherwise, of course.

"It's because Zim is mightier, and more experienced, than the Dib-stink," Dib remembered him saying. "Humans are drawn to powerful individuals, correct?"

Dib's response to this was a usual eye roll.

He didn't understand what experience had to do with anything, but there's no way of convincing that idiot otherwise. He had started ignoring Zim, whenever he made those remarks, because of that fact.

As he approached the tall door of the odd house, he smiled at the gnomes teasingly. They used to always be the first to attack him, and he always had a slight fear of them (even now). He pushed down the urge to do something to them, as he stepped up, and knocked on the door.

No response.

'Weird…' he thought, after a few minutes had passed. Gir would have at least answered the door, with a shriek. He knocked again, but there was still no response. Lucky for him, the defense system allowed him in now, although it's 'not because Zim trusts him… or anything.'

He decided to let himself in, and pushed open the door to reveal Zim in the middle of the living room, digging through Gir's head.

He looked up, and his face molded into anger, "HEY! You are not permitted to enter, if I do not answer!"

"I, uh-"

"Computer, activate defense mode!" He screamed, and Dib put up his hands in surrender.

The computer boomed back immediately, "Voice not recognized, you are not my master."

"I AM your master! Now activate defense mode!" He yelled again. "Eliminate this Dib!"

"Wait!" Dib interrupted, "W-who… are you??"
