i received a call from a place i applied for that i had worked at before and gotten fired from, so i am not sure if i have any chance at actually getting the job. however even if i do, until “september-ish” as my mother said will not be long enough to save up on my own.

in addition i also have storage fees for the brunt of my belongings (furniture, etc) and my phone bill that i need to pay for which comes to about C$280/month. i have a friend helping with a bit of that (~C$45). if anyone could also help with that, please send to my qayqal with a note stating it is for storage/phone!

The crackling of the fire is the only sound filling the night air, but the heat from the flames does nothing to distract him from the flaring pain in his leg. The sweat dripping down his forehead was noticed by numerous party members, but was easily brushed off as exhaustion; it had, after all, been a rough day, with the escape from the Evil Forest. No one had escaped without the scratches and bites of chasing thorns, and Zidane knows this, but the gash barely covered by a ripped boot leaves him frustrated. He remembers the way the princess looked at him when they checked on each other—the curve of her eyebrows when she undoubtedly did not believe Zidane’s weak claims of being fine, and the look of worry that flooded the four pretty brown eyes he’d seen. Perhaps seeing Garnet with four eyes was a sign he was not, and still is not even remotely alright, but the last thing he could ever want is to cause a pretty girl any distress. Or anyone else, for that matter .

ugh. hiii sorry im struggling a little and need some help making it until i get paid friday. basically i’ll be able to afford to pay all my bills and get my meds but my paycheck wont come through until after all these deadlines. i need some help for now but i can pay everything back on friday once my paycheck comes through.

because of some extra fees and poorly times charges, i’m about $115 short of being able to pay the bills i need to pay by the 5th. i also havent been able to get any of my meds for weeks, with the main issue there being that i’m insulin dependent and almost out of my insulin. my insulin costs $25.

both of these are pretty urgent but if i end up having to deal with late fees with my rent, it’s at least manageable — the insulin issue is not. my insulin isnt even the only med/supply i havent been able to get so things have been pretty rough but that’s the most important one. ive gone through the extra pens i had and everything so i really need this help.

I know this is a long shot, and i've never made a crowdfunding post before, but would anyone be able to donate a bit of money to me and my family? During the texas floods, we lost our shed, full of approximately $5,000 worth of music equipment that my mom used for her gigs and without it she can't do any, thus, reducing any extra income we could've had, and some she was trying to sell for house repairs, and that's not even including all my stuffed animals, electronics, furniture, clothes (almost all of my winter clothes were out there), 95% of my books (i only have about 10 left), family heirlooms, and other unaccounted for things.

both bathrooms in our house are falling apart and full of mold, we only have one working shower, and the tub in it leaks, the other shower/tub is completely overrun with mold and full of cracks, and the last time i had to use it i got staph infections all over my body, and that's just the bathrooms, the floor in our house is barely holding together as well, although most of this was before the flood, we've been set back financially making it harder than ever to try and get these sorted out, and we've had electrical and water issues since the flood as well

Neither our insurance or FEMA are going to give us any financial aid for everything we lost, my parents live off my dad's social security, and i'm only able to work part time (approx 20 hours a week at $15/hr) due to chronic pain and my disabilities, and i lost 3 weeks of work due to being stranded by the flood, my brother works full time but is irresponsible with his money and spends every dollar he earns without paying his bills and will not help out, he got money from his work as a disaster relief and went and spent it all on things he and his wife wanted instead of trying to help out the rest of the family.

This is by no means urgent, we have what we need to survive, we're just struggling a bit, and any help would be greatly appreciated, please help others first, but we need help too to afford repairs and needed supplies.

We currently have 7 people in the house, and only 2 of us currently work (not including my dad who gets social security), there's me (less than $2k per month, missing a check and a half due to being stranded, won't get paid till next Saturday (8/2)), my mom (can't work, can't get social security), my dad (social security, less than $2k per month), my brother (unknown income, but barely contributes to the money he owes my parents (rent, car payment, debt)), his wife (stay at home mom), her kid (minor, has celiac and needs special food), and my brother's roommate (has a job, but no hours, took a leave of absence due to health concerns and has been unable to get any hours since despite trying :/)

Anything helps, even just a few dollars. I don't have any set goal, but any extra funds or supplies that we don't need will be given to our neighbors, as our neighborhood was neglected by the state, as we technically are not part of any town, we are just outside of all nearby city limits and therefore not eligible for help from any of them, our entire neighborhood has been being helped by volunteers alone, which, have definitely pulled through and helped us a lot in regards to cleanup and have even supplied us with some food and water, but everyone always needs more help than others can give from their own pockets and the government is no help.
