I was in the middle of reading Mythos and I come across this in the Halo 4 section "In the end, the Chief managed to detonate a nuclear device he had carried aboard, crippling the Mantle's Approach, destroying the Composer, and presumably, the Didact along with it." Do you think the Didact is truly dead? #halo #halo4

I've seen people posting about the possibility of bringing a battle royale gametype to the Halo series. Considering I'm not into that style of gameplay I think that would be a bad idea. I also don't really feel like that style of gameplay works well with how Halo works. Now, let's talk about Warzone. I don't know the consensus on the gametype these days, but the inital reaction wasn't great from what I remember. 12 v 12 v AI opponents seemed like an awesome idea pre-release. I couldn't help but feel lile something was off, then I remembered an interview I read before Halo 3 came out regarding team sizes in multiplayer. Bungie designer, and lead designer on Halo 3 multiplayer Tyson Green explains "When you have more than eight people on your team, you get into situations where you're just a face in the crowd. You don't really have an impact on things. All of a sudden you win or lose the game and you really had nothing to do with it. There is some payoff- no question, it's cool to see 16 or 30 players working together in concert- but if our maps were set up performance-wise for 32 players, they'd be a lot less detailed and feel a lot emptier. [Having that many players is] cool sometimes, but I think most of the time it's just a bulletpoint on the box." Sounds a bit like Warzone, no? From OXM October 2007.

Fun fact. During the Halo 3 mission Floodgate, when you first jump down into the Flood infested ship and you look to your right you'll come face to face with one of several dead Elites. Occasionally the game will get confused and try to load two different armor styles at once, other times it will load the character model for Rtas 'Vadum. Commonly known as "Half Jaw" for his missing half of his face. #halo #halo3 #flood #elites

I never liked the fact that Noble Six wasn't featured on the Reach statue. So I placed a Reach figure that looks similar to my Spartan on the statue so that at least for me, Six was memorialized as he (or she) should have been. #halo #haloreach #noblesix
