My brave protector (that's what his name means ^^) is beautiful and I love him. We are 18 months strong. He is an Aspie and that can be challenging sometimes. We think differently, we see the world differently. But he is such a caring, kind man, with a beautiful heart, full of patience and generosity. We make a conscious effort to understand and care for each other. I don't always "get him" and he doesn't always "get me"... but that's okay :*) We don't have to understand everything. We just have to love and have empathy.

I'm glad I found this treasure that he is. He fits perfectly around the other jewels in my life, my friends 💜

I'm teaching math to a few middle school kids these last few days and they actually liked me :') I get a bit nervous when I have to teach because I've never studied didactics or anything like that, but it's nice to see I'm doing a good job coming across well to them.

One of the boys said he got a good grade the last time I taught him!! 🥹

Reaching the goal of our donation matches within two hours... that's truly so precious. It's so good to be able to do something. This kind of selflessness, of union and empathy towards people so far way, that's what moves me and it's why I will forever be "hopelessly hopeful".
