Like man, I know I've been here for a long time, through the ups and downs of Tumblr, but it's a big number!! And it's nice to celebrate! This runs for the next two weeks, between the 16th of April to the 30th of April 2025, and the prizes are: - One of my warm up style comics in which you get to choose the subject and - one of my full figure commissions I'll be choosing the winners on the 1st of May on a spin the wheel Gen, which I'll record! critical frames line art <3

With two-ish days to spare I’ve finally started on my frame for the critical frames project. Yippee, it’s so lovely doing a drawing at 21 and thinking oh yeh, 16 year old me would be so proud and chirping away at this.

I must say I hadn’t truly analysed lvl 20 yashas outfit till string down to draw this evening and boy oh boy I respect going full on in the orphan-maker asthetic but i miss the drapey and much more natural fabrics of the lvl 1 costumes. Those bones would diiiig into your sternum if you bent over. (Don’t think your getting of Scott free jester, those organsa sleeves would be such a nuisance /lh)

but it’s me, thinking about my Whitling knife that I couldn’t take with me when away on a training course away from home, for obvious reasons.

I miss it so bad, I yearn to whittle. Chetney pock o’pea, I get it man. Whittling goes so hard. (Current project is two little kidneys or maybe they could be butter beans).

EDIT: Well this got a lot of attention! I got a few users asking to print or repost my art and I am unimaginably grateful to everyone's interest, especially since it's a really simple drawing I made on a whim haha! the mighty nein, post battle/adventure all lying in a heap, grumble stimming together

(how I am referring making groany/grummbly/humming/gentle screechy noises that feel good)

Their certainly not harmonising but it all blends together into a big achy glad noise stew as they all try to ease themselves into rest whilst feeling like even that is too tiring.

It feels good to make unflitered rumbling noises and find blissful reassurance in hearing each other all grumbling and groaning away.

They can also feel all the vibrations as they lie ontop of each other - caduceus makes the best rumbles, (jester is always vocally eager and stakes her claim but everyone else loves it too when they find a spot in the pile where they can press an ear near cads upper chest to really feel them) super low and resonant and lovely kinda rough and Caleb does a very good impersonation of a purr.

Jester does scrunchy screechy muffled squawky noises in the back of her throat and yasha does a long low tuneless hum.

Beau and fjord both do different sorts of strong huffs, beaus more in her soft pallet and fjords lower in his throat.

Veth does Burbly sort of snarls that are a bit inspired by back when she had gobliny teeth.

Essek sounds like a radar doing little quiet periodic hums.

I want to play video games but in the same way toddlers are allowed to do cooking

whilst someone plays most of the game I curl up beside them and

Watch with big eyes and intent focus (this is very impressive and I should be commended for how engaged I am /lh)

point out things I think are interesting and people will think my contributions are interesting funny and sweet all at once

occasionally press a button or hold the controller when it’s an easy bit

(I’m trying to play baldurs gate but my audhd and complicated video games mix about as well as toddlers and waiting patiently for a biscuit)

softies!! Cad and Jes as this lovely shot of Oscar and Izzy cuddling on ep 1 of gastronauts

I can’t get over how good shapes Izzy and Oscar make in this wee moment. And I am heartset that jester and cad have lovely cleric cuddles on the regular, they both fidget throughout - jester wiggles and tippy taps her fingers on cad and plays with his fur and hair whilst cad rubs his face against her (they definitely both nuzzle but I think she picks it up more from him) and occasionally does tight squeezes with his hands either in bunches of her clothes or just on a bit of her (like fore arm).

basically - they do stimmy cuddles. I love stimmy cuddles.

Autumn is season supreme - Beatrice and axel in their slightly millennial coded loveliness are big fans of autumn I think (they enjoy warm toned knit wear and pressing fallen leaves in big books to try and preserve them - do leaves press like flowers???). Here they are bouncing in fallen leaves/bouncing cause life is pretty great and sometimes you just wanna bounce with your spouse.

thinking a lot about autism (as always /lh) as im trying to do prep/gather evidence to get a referral for a diagnosis

Side affect of this is thinking a bit about if my most treasured oc’s could hand a little more projection…thinking if it’d be good self care to make a few more of them autistic…

Candlenights 2022

for @/drawingoffantasy. They said that their favourite characters were Aubrey, Magnus, Lup, Fitzroy and I could pick who I was more excited to draw so I just went with a little of all of them.

So here is Aubrey making friends with all the others, over fire, dogs and being generally enthusiastic :).
