tips i use to lose weight
always round the cals up (ex: 7cal -> 10cal)
act casual and eat a lot of something with little cals (pickles, cucumbers, scrambled eggs whites, broccoli) in front of them then work it off in my room
make sure theyâre distracted while you eat, like have them watch tv or talking to someone else
think of a food i donât like and if i donât want to eat it then im not hungry (ex: if i donât want to eat mushrooms then im not actually hungry)
look at how much cals a meal is before eating it
figure out how to make food look like more than it is, mostly cuz i feel bad throwing my moms food awayđ
give myself a hard task before allowing myself to eat. homework, clean room, etc..
try to think of eating as a chore, (ex: âi hate eatingâ, âi canât believe i have to eat again alreadyâ, âthis is so gross..â
do my daily workout, find out how much i burned then stay under that number

How to trick your parents/family you at3đĽ
First of all,Iâm not promoting any edâs, I am not responsible of anything that happens if this goes wrong. Prioritise your health,and if youâre not feeling well stop any moment. Always look after your body.
Think about your goal. Your parents love you,so they want you to be eating. Well,it doesnât always work like that. Here are my tips on how to skip that one high c4l me4l..or more.
1. Ask for money to eat out.
Oldest trick in the book. You get closer to your gw,and make money out of it. One of my personal favourites. Letâs say you have to go somewhere in the morning,you skip breakfast telling your parent youâll pick something on your way.
Works: max twice a week,theyâll say that you have to eat real food and not just takeaway.
2. âI donât like being watched while I eatâ
I love this one. Iâm actually pretty awkward when someoneâs eating with me. Tell the parent youâre closer with that you feel uncomfortable eating with others,so ask for permission to eat after everyone finishes. Then,you can eat a little,throw away some food,or whatever method you prefer.
Works: pretty much everyday,unless you are in a rush and need to eat with others. Doing this often makes it look more real.
3. Eating in your room
Isnât this the most obvious one? Do whatever you want to that food if youâre alone. Make sure to bring the âemptyâ dishes to the kitchen,but not too quick.
Works: max once a week,most parents donât like the idea of eating in the same room you sleep in
4. Prepare your meals yourself
You donât have to know much about cooking to make yourself a delicious l0w c4l meal. You can even cook something that wonât raise an eyebrow and then throw it away.
Works: not so often, maybe once in two weeks, you donât wanna seem obsessed with food
5. Using time in your favour
Letâs say none of these worked. Youâre at dinner with your family. You pour yourself a big glass of water. You quickly chug it before starting to eat. You start by cutting every piece of food in small pieces, while talking to your family. As youâre about to put that fork in your mouth, you come up with a new subject. You close your mouth,but donât take any bite. Use a napkin to throw your food in. Move the food in your plate to make it seem like you ate.
Works: not every time,but worths a shot. Make sure to e4t only when theyâre actually looking at you
6. Water bottle method
This one worked so great for me, itâs crazy how it works every time. Get a colored bottle,not the usual transparent one. Make sure the lid is big enough. Empty the bottle and hold it close to you. After every 2-3 bites, âdrinkâ some water. Spit the food inside the bottle. You can hold some of the food in your mouth then spit more out. Everyone fell for it.
Works: anytime, any meal, with anyone. One of my best tips

WHAT A WEIGHT PLATEAU REALLY IS
a weight plateau happens due to metabolic adaptation; where you have been in a calorie deficit or doing extreme diets for months without breaks and your weight isn't going anywhere. this is your body's way of protecting you or conserving energy.
a weight plateau is not rare and can happen at any time, especially once your body adapts to a certain intake. but, if you are truly in a calorie deficit, you will lose fat even if the scale shows that you're maintaining your weight.
metabolic adaptation is only a temporary response, if you follow the things down below, you'll most likely see a change and your metabolism will start to improve (with time) !!!
some things you should check if you suspect you might've hit a plateau:
âż your water intake â some people confuse a weight plateau with water retention. it is EXTREMELY important to note that water retention CAN cause the scale to maintain and can cause you to look "bulky" or "fat". make sure you're staying hydrated and drinking at least 2-4 bottles of water daily !!! i promise there will be a major difference.
âż start tracking your calories for a few days (if you haven't been doing that already) â this one is obvious. but sometimes we're prone to underestimating our meals or forgetting things we've eaten throughout the day. sometimes it's just out of plain embarrassment, where we're too ashamed to write it down. but it is super important to document everything you've eaten, especially if it's to see if you're truly in a plateau or if it's just miscalculations. if you're not into calorie counting, then portion control can be a good alternative.
âż start exercising â it doesn't have to be anything extreme, just moving your body might help. it doesn't matter if you get 4k steps or do a 10 minute video, all movement is good movement and might help break your plateau.
âż while on the topic of exercise, make sure the exercises that you're doing aren't causing muscle gain. â i have pcos and it doesn't help that due to my genetics, i tend to build muscle extremely easily as well. when i do exercises like cycling or leg pilates or any exercise in general that engages one point of muscles too much, they start to appear bulky after a few days and the scale ends up maintaining or going up. i've learned that just walking at a moderate pace is what works best for me and ever since i stopped cycling, the scale started dropping and i've gotten skinnier. with that being said, find out if your exercises are the reason for the scale maintaining, pay close attention to measurements and/or before and after photos, and check for symptoms of pcos if you suspect you have it!
âż if none of these are the culprit, then it's definitely time for a metabolism/refeed day (or week... or month) â eat somewhere close to your maintenance (TDEE) for a few days and then after some time you can start restricting again⌠that way your weight on the scale will start dropping.
â if you want to avoid these plateaus in the future, it's important to implement at least 1 or 2 metabolism days a week AND follow everything that i mentioned before !!
â it should be noted that you do not have to have metabolism days, sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. it honestly just depends on the person. like for me, i've stayed around the same calorie intake since december 2024. i was steadily losing weight until one day the scale kept maintaining in february 2025 despite doing my workouts and being in my deficit. it was only until i started upping my water intake is when the scale started dropping again. i barely had to do any refeed days. however, this isn't guaranteed to work for another person. it all just depends on how your body reacts so do whatever works best for your body âĄ

Wannarexics listen up!
If you want to lose weight FASt,use this post
The official 4n4 guide of 2025
- drink 500 ml of warm water before every meal
- cut your food into tiny bites (try cutting a cake into half, then cut that half into quarter,then cut the quarters,etc)
- drink at least 3 liters of warm water daily
- eat fiber! Forget protein and focus on fiber
- go on the treadmill either every day and burn 200-300 cals OR every other day and burn 400-500 calories
- do workouts you can STICK with! Not ones that burn the most calories
- I took this tip from a book (if you know you know lol which one) buy 2 scales, tamper with one to show you a fake weight (this tip is for if your parents are suspicious,pick a high weight like 55-60 kg if youâre like 40-45 kg ya know?)
- donât purge! The only way to effectively get rid of all calories is to burn it all off
- always check your weight FIRST thing in the morning
- distract your self as much as you possibly can
- do omads
- follow diets like the ABC diet or the 5 bite diet
- read books focused on anaorezia for motivation
- put your legs on the wall after eating for about 15 minutes (you can read it go on TikTok or tumblr while waiting)
- choose your fruits WISELY! Avoid high calorie ones like banana(100) and mangoes (200) and focus on low calorie ones raspberry and blueberries (one calorie each)
- always cut your crust of bread ( I didnât know this b it before I got an ed I always cut it and I realized it reduces cals by 40/50 percent!)
- try to have a type of workout ritual like maybe 100 jumping jacks right when you wake up or sit-ups
Letâs talk safe foods wannarexics
Raspberries,blueberries,oatmeal (made with water),teas, coffees(without milk and sugar),bread without crust,low calorie energy drinks,ice water or cold water,halo top,soups of all kinds really(just try to use 5-10 spoonfuls of it only),tuna fish,salmon,chicken breast or leg,popcorn,carrots,Diet Coke,yogurt,strawberries,watermelon,rice cakes,et. Anything low calorie,easy to make,higher in protein and fiber but lower in carbs and sugar!
So try to only eat these foods
Danger foods wannarexics!
Mangoes,fast food,ice creams like Ben and Jerryâs or non low calorie ice creams,non diet sodas,all fast food chains,Starbucks,cakes like carrot cake,chocolate,etc (all types),cupcakes,cookies,all types of chips,frostings or creams,pizza if not homemade,burgers if not homemade,pb and j sandwiches,cereal,protein bars,all types of chocolate,noodles if they are higher than 200/300 calories,waffles,biscuits,
Grey area foods wannarexics
These foods can be high calorie OR low calorie
Rice,pasta,macaroni,pancakes,fries,etc
How to avoid getting caught wannarexics!
-Try to eat in front of your family
It dialect need join have to eat a lot no just show people your are eating!
(If it helps try to schedule your meals AROUND the time you know your siblings or parents will be at the dinner table or kitchen)
- make food,learn how to bake because people assume that if you make food then obviously you age it! Plus if you have cravings you can smell and touch and look at the food but know how in control you are by not eating and actively making others eat it?? Total power move
How to avoid binging Wannarezics
Go on the 5 bite diet I promise you it made me lose 5-7 kg in one week! It works by shrinking your stomach! If you guys do it then your stomach is shrink so much that you will barely eat and then you canât binge!!

how did u drop that many lbs and how long
best tips for me honestly are:
I. chia seeds in ur water to help u stay full (super low cal and good for digestion too)
II. i rlly try to only eat omad (if its more than that, its two v small meals or i restrict more the next day to make up for it and if its rlly bad i will purge)
III. i honestly donât do much ârealâ exercise, but i walk to almost all my classes (40-90mins per day) at a very fast pace
IV. whenever you feel hungry DRINK SOMETHING FIRST. even if its diet pop or a low cal beverage thats not water, it will still be less calories than eating a craving and will keep you full (and hydrated) longer! (i basically js do this until its time for my meal or time to gts)
V. what RLLY helped me the most honestly though was having super healthy food for my meals that i can TOLERATE eating but donât rlly like so that i donât overeat (ie. vegetables, fish, plain chicken, salad)
i have also stopped avoiding food with ingredients i donât care for (such as roasted peppers) so that the flavor will be less appealing and i will only eat enough to ensure i donât make myself sick :)
**overall its been abt two years since i was 178, but i dropped a good chunk of the weight in the last month (around 25lbs)**

M A S T E R L I S T
for losing as much as possible in a short amount of time (cuz we are all desperate), from me - a biotechnologist, who relapsed (the demons never leave)
the tips i am about to share with all my girliepops are all based on science and work; if you have any other tips, feel free to share in the comments, so we can have all the tips in one place!
⢠eat your meals from smaller sized plates, to trick your brain you are eating more
⢠cut up your food into small pieces
⢠chew every bite at least 10-15 times, until it is a purÊe consistency; this way you will be eating slower and give your brain more time to realise you are full
⢠sip water with a lemon slice between your bites
⢠focus on eating vegetables and protein, limit carbs
⢠drink a lot of water, and I mean a lot
⢠add lemon slices to your water to make it have some flavour; also the lemon juice in water before your meals will help reduce the glucose spike => less insulin released from liver => less absorbed glucose from carbs/sugars/starches => less fat on your body
⢠move for 10 mins right after eating - walk, do calf raises, some light movement so all the glucose can be used before getting stored as fat on your body
⢠drink tea - green tea, detox tea, whatever tea, without a sweetener
⢠do not drink diet sodas/colas - or any kind of liquid that is not water/tea - these are useless calories, why would you do that to yourselves?! even if it says 0 cals - this s#it is so bad for you, and the carbonation makes you feel bloated like a god damn whale! ditch the diet sodas girliepops
⢠implement some kind of movement every day - walking, pilates, yoga, dance workouts, resistance bands workouts or stretching
⢠do not weigh yourself everyday - due to hormones our weigh fluctuates every day and this will just make you feel bad if you lose and gain 1-2 legs everyday depending on your menstrual cycle, water weight and so on.. weigh yourself every 2 weeks.
⢠do not drink fruit juice - this is such a scam; hear me out: how many oranges does it take to make 1 glass of orange juice? around 3. can you eat three whole oranges in one sitting? i bet no. then why would you drink 3 oranges? when you make fruit juice, all the fibre and the pulp is removed, leaving you with just the juice with all the sugar in it (in the form of glucose and fructose) so you are basically drinking pure sugar, which turns into fat⌠just eat your damned fruit, instead of drinking a bunch of empty calories
⢠take red cranberry supplements - they are usually taken for UTIs, but the red cranberry has diuretic effect, and will make you pee your water weight out; please do not take more than 2 pills and remember to drink plenty of water so you donât damage your kidneys!!!!
⢠take probiotics - this will ensure your gut health stays good while restricting foods, so you donât end up constipated and bloated
⢠i personally do not eat dairy products (i am lactose intolerant) - they are full of hormones from the cows, give you acne and inflammation, and the protein in it is not worth it considering the amount of fat these products have; skip the dairy if you can
⢠if you drink a lot of coffee, remember to drink plenty of water! coffee has a diuretic effect and if you are not drinking more water, it will make you retain whatever water is in your body, leading to water weight gain
⢠if you end up binging, do so mindfully - do not give in to all the food, just have a piece of chocolate, not the whole chocolate bar; have a piece of cake, not the whole cake; then get back on track and try to exercise as much as possible to burn the excess calories
⢠i think this is obvious but let me say it just in case - in order to lose weight, you have to be on a calorie deficit - meaning you burn/use more calories than you consume; but!! here is the trick - you have to maintain low calorie diet, do not âď¸ve for more than 2 days, as this will f#ck up your metabolism - your body goes into fight or flight response, meaning everything you eat after f4sting will remain on your body as a reserve of food, in case you end up âď¸ving again; so have your veggies and protein (chicken breasts, white fish)
⢠keep yourself busy so you donât think about f0od - study, work, read books, journal, whatever it is, your day has to be full of activities do you can forget to e4t
⢠reject offered food - say you already ate / yr not hungry / you are allergic to some ingredient / you have a bad migraine and this will make it worse / or take the food and say you will have it later and just give it to someone else (pls donât throw in trash, do not waste food)
⢠when eating with family / boyfriend - place food in a smaller plate, cut up food into very small pieces and eat very slowly and chew every bite for a long time, sip water between every few bites, then say you are full and cannot eat anymore / that you ate a bit earlier and yr full
⢠when eating, eat your veggies first, then your protein and eat the smallest amount of carbs - always leave leftover carbs in your plate
⢠do not eat any snacks - no cereal bars, no cereal, no chips, no crisps, no crackers, no salty sticks, just do not eat snacks!
⢠if you feel like eating - drink water first, then have veggies (cucumbers, carrots, tomatoes, radishes, etc) or fruit (apples, citrus, any kind of berries)
⢠if you are having breakfast - always eat a savoury breakfast - eggs, avocado, veggies etc; never eat a sweet breakfast - cereal, croissants, pancakes, etc, this will spike up your glucose levels and all that sugar will turn into fat; a sweet breakfast will make you feel tired and exhausted all day, leading you to eat more
⢠wear a waist trainer - do so for no more than 8hrs a day; this will also help you have smaller portions of food, as it wonât allow your stomach to expand
⢠do not purge - this is very bad for your teeth and overall health; the stomach acid is very strong and every time you purge, your teeth are getting damaged; just donât overeat in the first place and have self control!

a little PSA, if ur a low cal deficit, u need to have a refeed day (1500+ cals) every 2 weeks or ur metabolism will crash. once it does it will take months to recover from it.

i noticed visible results after doing parts of this a couple times a week, I'm now doing it every day except Sunday and I'm losing a LOTI'm a beginner and I could do it but it still pushed me so it's good for any level <3
