Being a dsmp fan who joined post-prison break is like. my dsmpsona is a newcomer who just moved into snowchester. the other residents welcome me in and tell me stories. stories about its founder and his loving husband and adorable child (a founder whose husband is dead and child missing. a founder who is on a path of revenge while going through the stages of grief). stories of the founder's best friend, who has seen too much and gone through even worse and is doing what he can to hide from a recently escaped madman ("oh yeah, watch out for the man in the mask" they tell me, "he's bad news"). stories of a commune, in a snowy environment like ours, where a warrior and his friends reside (the ones who destroyed a beautiful country, they whisper, the reason why they held their breaths when he came poking around looking for a government). finally, they tell me stories of the beautiful country, one that rose and fell and rebuilt again until it was reduced to a hauntingly beautiful crater, overtaken by nature (they show me pictures of how it looked, before, and despite all of the pain and heartache that followed I longed to have joined the server a year before, to have walked through the crowded but cosy streets and reach out to the colorful lanterns and streamers above me).

I'm overwhelmed by the stories, amazed at what came before as I eagerly watch what comes after. Watch a newcomer like me attempt to find home while haunted by ghosts, watch one man's long trek to find forgiveness and closure, watch a dazzling city get blown up before I even finished hearing the stories around its birth, watch a goddess protect those she loves as it all comes crashing down in the end.

I sigh, looking at the fallout and devastation, and move on to other servers, but I will always remember the stories I listened to and the stories I saw for myself, and I smile as I find others who remain and hang onto those memories, as we rebuild once again.

OMG you make Dogday even more lovable than he already is and it makes my heart melt. Tho i'm curious i'm asuming that Dogday can get pretty vicious considering alot of "guard dog" comments that float around him so how would it be him going into attack mode if yn got hurt? Also will he get his legs back?

pov: you got a little too close to y/n’s house with less than innocent intentions and now you're bleeding out in the woods while a giant anthropomorphic dog watches on to make sure you die

(in the they lived au, the big guy doesn't get his legs back. however, in a survivor au where he never loses his lower half in the first place, he's 100% a real threat to anyone not on his angel's side (even after y/n and the surviving toys have left the factory behind; the trauma of constantly being in danger doesn't tend to go away).

While I do think using the four sword causes some bad physical/mental side effects, I ultimately think that the biggest drawback ends up being that none of Four’s colours ever do what he wants unless it’s a life or death situation. Four has a lot of work so he decides to spilt to get everything done on time. It does not go well.

Red and Blue both run on emotions so they immediately get distracted by whatever’s more interesting and leave. Red might eventually get back on track (if he remembers) but there’s still a 50/50 chance that he goes “oh but I don’t wanna do that now.. hope the others do it for me! <3”. Blue’s better at remembering but if the conditions for doing The Task are slightly Off it’s going to make him want to rip his own hair out so he just calls it quits. Green and Vio are more likely to actually get stuff done but the second someone asks Green for a favour he’s gone. He’ll end up spending the entire day running around delivering pastries or something cause people keep asking him for things and hes incapable of refusing. Vio will spend thirty minutes coming up with some sort of convoluted loophole to avoid The Task before disappearing into the woods for the next three days. He could’ve completed The Task in those same thirty minutes but he just didn’t feel like doing it in the moment. Four eventually reforms and literally nothing had been done. The real reason he keeps the four sword a secret from the chain is because he’s embarrassed about the fact that all the colours are literally so fucking stupid on their own

Edit: then there bloody Morro who put it on to beat Lloyd’s ass and reached his true potential who knows how long ago just to beat Lloyd.
