James is tying his skates and his mind is racing. His mind has been racing since yesterday afternoon when Regulus asked him to go ice skating. James was thrilled and immediately said ‘yes’, but quickly realized he has no idea what this is. Is this a date? They’re going with a group, so Regulus could’ve just been inviting him to join them, not as a date. But James has never been invited before and it felt like more than just inviting him along, so it could be a date. Or James could be reading into it because he wants it to be a date. But would it be a date if they’re with a group? Maybe Regulus feels more comfortable with a group, but he still meant it as a date. Or James is just here to hang out with friends, and no one is on a date.

James’ mind is still spiraling as he steps on the ice and scans the rink looking for Regulus and his friends. When he finally spots them, his heart sinks when he sees Regulus wrapping his arms around Barty's shoulders, and Barty’s hands grabbing Regulus’ hips.

James’ eyes grow wide, his breath catches and his mind spirals. This isn’t a date. He’s here as a friend. That’s fine. That’s good. He can do that. He just needs a second. James tries to turn around, but he’s not focused, he turns too quickly, and his feet slip out from under him.

James lands hard on his back, all the air being knocked out of him. For a moment he just lies on the ice and tries to take a deep breath. He’s not sure if the ache in his chest is from the fall or from what he saw that made him fall. At least he has his answer, he just wishes it didn’t hurt so bad.

“Are you okay!?” Regulus’ voice is filled with concern as he kneels beside James. James is staring at Regulus, but he feels stuck in his head and can’t find his words. “James! Are you okay?” Regulus starts to sound a bit panicked.

James shakes his head to clear his thoughts and pushes up on his elbows. “Yes. Yes, sorry. Yeah, I’m okay.” He sits up fully.

Regulus doesn’t look convinced as he helps James slowly stand up. “Are you sure? You went down pretty hard. Did you hit your head?”

James steadies himself on the side of the rink. “Yeah, I’m sure. I’m alright. Wasn’t as bad as it looked.” He lies, trying not to wince. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to interrupt. You can head back over. I’m going to sit for just—”

“Interrupt what?” Regulus cuts him off.

“Oh… erm… just… it looked like… you and Crouch were… having a moment.” James tries not to wince for a completely different reason.

Regulus snorts. “A moment?” He chuckles then thinks for a minute. “You mean when Evan shoved me, and Barty caught me because he’s a good friend and didn’t want me to land face first on the ice?” Regulus asks with a knowing look.

“A friend?”

“Yes… you thought he was more than a friend?” Regulus asks and James just shrugs sheepishly. “James, why would I ask you on a date if I was ‘more than friends’ with Barty?”  

“This is a date?” James blurts out before he can stop himself, but his entire face lights up.

Regulus hesitates for a moment, looking very anxious. “Did you not want this to be a date?”

“No!” James exclaims then shakes his head. “No, I mean yes! Yes, I did… I do… I do want this to be a date.” He finishes softly with a sweet smile.  

Regulus chuckles with his own shy smile. “Okay.” He nods once. “Good.”

James’ smile grows and he nods back. “Good.”

Cretan diplomats based on a painting of the tomb of Rekhmire, Luxor. I was intruigued by the leopard skirt thingy one of them is wearing and drew a more or less realistic interpretation of it! The other guy's there so he can have a buddy.

While i usually draw people looking as average as possible, it's not the case here. It's fair to assume that within the "PR" context of the painting (representing their people in front of a foreign king) these would be the ancient aegean's hottest boytoys, so I kept them snatched and smooth shaved.

in a world where everything is okay, i can just imagine gojo being a horrifically great babysitter for megumi and being unofficially adopted into the fushiguro family like

toji hates his guts, and gojo hates his guts too—but fushimama is so nice and kind, and finds him to be an absolute darling, and toji will always fold to his wifes whims every time—so toji puts up with the annoying blue-eyed menace

at the very least, he can take solace in the fact that baby megs also hates him, and fushimama has never seen her boys so cooperative and together as a family unit before—despite it being at gojos expense lmao

as much as she wants to break up their mini-fights and bickerings, she doesn't because it is somehow enrichment for the three of them

she always manages to wrangle gojo to stay just a bit longer for dinners on the weekends, despite him insisting that he doesn't want to be a bother. the smile that spreads on her face when toji invites him to stay for dinner for the first time—toji would do anything for that smile. even put up with gojo teasing him for being so down bad for her LMAO

There's this interesting thing that happens where someone will support people blocking other people for mental wellness, but then when it happens to them (as in they're being blocked), it's no longer ok. I think some things people need to reflect on are:

1. Why is it no longer ok when it happens to you?

2. Does someone else's view of you need to alter or change your view of yourself?

3. If yes to 2, why?

4. Why is your support conditional only when it involves you directly?

None of what I'm saying implies that people who act this way are truly "at fault" for anything; it's just something to think about when you support a concept only to reject it when that concept applies to you.

i really hate the calling Kairi a 'sexy lamp' crap for various reasons. she's a kid for one thing so stop that 'sexy' shit if you're an adult and don't say it around me if you're a kid please. then that leaves us with just 'lamp' and honestly

if you know a lamp that snarks at her friends, jumps off a balcony to save one, somehow is able to see a person's true self, is willing to fight (even WEAPONLESS) if need be, brought back someone twice, is seeming interested in writing and stories, believes in some superstitions, and MORE then...that's quite the """lamp""" you've got there. sounds like you just have a ...'character'.

i just want people to admit that she's not a character that THEY are interested in, instead of calling her 'weak' or 'poorly written'. i'm someone who is on occasion on that latter, 'damn you, Nomura' train, however that's when i realized that it's because i want MORE of her on screen. but what we have seen, if you pay attention, is honestly intriguing to me. sorry if it just doesn't work for you

Thank you for tagging me @stunningtoredorsweetheart 🌹 Leo really likes fashion but his style is a bit all over the place. He falls in love with many individual pieces and then does his best to work them together into a cohesive style. He loves tiny shirts and shirts that are barely shirts, mesh, velvet, laces, buttons, high necks, embroidery, interesting pants, heeled boots, and isn't opposed to a short skirt. He also struggles to maintain a fully consistent colour palette, but leans towards burgundy, red, black, blue, and shades of purple or pink. He doesn't mind green in moderation or as an accent, but he limits yellows and oranges.

RULES: Make a separate post with pictures of your character's wardrobe and put your OC in the center. It can be other people wearing the clothing, it's just a moodboard.
