Todays sneak peak is part of a big shared universe Im working on with the beautiful and talented @racerchix21 (tag your it btw) where Tommy and Buck both wind up transferring to Nashville. No not Tim Minear's Nashville a different and better Nashville team.

Anyways enjoy a little sneak peak at Racerchix21 and I's fire family bonding with Tommy.

Tommy has worked every single 4th of July since he had gotten out of the military. Even if he wasn't scheduled to work he found a shift to pick up. Not because he loves his job, or because of his lack of Oo Rah 'Merica patriot spirit, Donato's words not his. But because working gives him a great excuse to avoid all the fucking fireworks.

He'd been trying to figure out who on B shift would most want the holiday off when Peggy tossed an arm around her neck.

"Absolutely not." Peggy had scolded him when he asked about it. "Jim and Bren do whole thing." Tommy raised an eyebrow, the Mclarnon family were very much not interested in celebrating colonialism. "It's not a Independence Day thing, it's like a big family barbecue. Anyways you're coming. It's great, there's good food, good music, you can finally meet Ember, Winter, and Gaia, and there's no fire works."

So he's in the back yard of his Captain letting Jim and Bern boss him around. The entire team is getting bossed around by Bren truthfully. But him and John had been ordered to set up the big canvas gazebo while Flint and Jake helped Jim with the food.
