The impact of the Captain's landing shook the floor under the Black Buzzard's feet with a reverberating 'THUD'. He was just barely able to remain standing with the help of his umbrella being used as a cane. He looked back up to observe the full enormity of this shark-man-captain that towered over him. He gulped once his eyes wandered down to the three sharp trident-prongs aimed at his face.

Why does he suddenly hear quirky battle music playing?

"H-hey now, there's no need to escalate things so quickly..." He placated as he took a step back.

This was becoming quite the conundrum. He didn't feel the need to divulge to this stranger anymore than he already has but it doesn't look like this imposing shark is going to let him go without a fight. On the other hand, the thought of being forced to do anything at the point of a weapon just infuriated him. His obstinateness started to takeover his gut instincts to cower back and obey, no matter how trivial the command is or how intimidating the man is.

"I–" he straightened his posture, Head raised, chest puffed— "I already explained plenty, certainly more than you have! You still haven't even introduced yourself. Which is rude— especially after I've already done so!"

He crossed his arms, hands tucked neatly in his coat, glaring back defiantly.

Black Buzzard sighed in mild irritation as he rubbed his temple with his fingers.

"I guess you'd have to see where I'm from to get what I mean, but it's almost as if our worlds have completely different... 'styles...?' that's the best description I can think of."

He barely gave the shark-person time to register that expansion before casually trotting off with a smiling wink and a little wave– "Welp, I'm going to see what's outside now. See ya~!"

"Mumamia! That's a pretty convincing Shark costume ya got there!" Gives all the candy despite the context of what he said.

No Main Ghost Blog

"As we established at some point over the last 4-5 years... I'm from the 18th century, I have no concept of time anymore. Anyway, There is no main ghost that speaks for all of us, and there is no 'Mun' what's this 'face-claim?!' I recognize the words, but they don't make any sense? Hellen owns the Hotel, sure, and she is our boss, and we are all afraid of her... but due to a bug in something that I'll never understand, that Steward calls a 'floating timeline,' she's been gone for quite some time over the last 24-hours.

In honor of Luigi's Mansion 2: Dark Moon remastered HD Switch, being released on June 27, we're gonna try and start this blog back up. Are all of you still here? Are some of you still here? Are any of you still here? Send in questions, try to start role um-plays? Whatever those are, maybe operas? But with less singing?

It's not even a sock-puppet account this time, it's an actual real-life person who's new to the RP scene. Fishook fiddles with the molly-guard for several minutes, getting it partially opened with his hook occasionally, but eventually just biting it off. "Oops." he uttered flatly, and rather unconvincingly, to nobody in particular. Then he slammed the back end of his hook on a big red button labeled 'Prrromotion.'

"Seaside Town?" Ellie cocked her head to the side. Well...that gave her somewhat of an idea of where she was. "Is that a town that's mainly made up of fish people? I'm not sure if you know what a human is but...that's what I am." Who knows, maybe humans exist in another town, and that this shark character was familiar with them.

"Take care of-a me, all right! " That and what came next were what pushed the eruption of laughter from Mario. Johnny was taking to this like a fish in water! Don't think about it, don't think about it. Maybe Mario wasn't giving him enough credit. If a Boo can drive then Johnny should be okay. This hook of his was seen as a weapon and thusly people would avoid it as he did at first but it only took a second of consideration for Mario to connect the dots: this was just as much Johnny as the rest of him.

There was a moment to consider what he would say next. A change for Mario but then it came to him.

"I just like-a this moment. Hope we can-a create more!" Then came the ear to ear smile he was known for. His mustache hung perfectly over it to accentuate the expression.

"Well, don't you worry yer pretty little head. " Johnny chided, and patted his back gently. "Ol' Johnny will take good care of ya!" Johnny very well could crush anyone who opposed him, and at one point he thought crushing Mario would be as easy as folding in an aluminum can...How ironic that in that moment, he only wanted to hold him. He was very careful to keep his hook pointed away from the plumber. It being on a chain made it quite easy to spin away or rotate when he needed to avoid piercing anything...or anyone. He felt the embrace tighten and trembled a bit. It was funny how touch could do that to someone. When was the last time he'd even been touched? He didn't truly remember. Johnny was quite an isolated and lonely person. Touch was something most took for granted. It was something Johnny enjoyed. The pirate was like a content cat in his boyfriend's arms...

Boyfriends... That's what they were now. It was so surreal, and yet...he welcomed it even if it was an unspoken title.

"Yer right, matey. It'll take some time to adjust but I believe in us! Who would I be if I wasn't confident in you!" He chuckled a bit. "You really liked me sayin' stuff like that, huh?"

"I'm dreaming, aren't I?"

This was a shark that was standing on two legs. That made no biological sense. At least, not the biology he learned in high school. Then again, they said only ten percent of the ocean had been explored thus far. For all he knew, mermaids existed deep down. Torahiko loved the water, loved swimming, but a shark that walked up to him on the beach?

That was bizarre.

"You're not gonna eat me or anything are you?"

Eyebrows furrow. If it was a fight this guy wanted, it was a fight this guy would get! Torahiko was incredibly skilled in the art of... running away. No sea creature, legs or no legs, could possibly outrun him! So he takes a step back. He had to put on a strong front!

"You are correct in every sense. I have already created an entirely new timeline, I understand by doing so I have abused my power. I seek never to allow selfishness to draw me in yet again."

She honestly felt herself to be terrible for what she did sometimes. But it was only fair... Link deserved a childhood. A happy time, where you could play, and be a kid. Not that adventure she set him on, which was another act of selfishness. Demanding her dream be prophecy. Technically, it was, but by self fulfillment. Had she not done what she did, Ganondorf would have never entered the Sacred Realm, he would have never turned it into a world of Evil.

"I do not consider myself to be higher than any other, only that I have a significantly stronger responsibility to my country. I fully understand the rules of royalty, and I abide by them as necessary. However, while we are not in any city, or town, I would not be bothered if you simply referred to me as 'Zelda'."

It went against protocol, but she felt as though to be referred to by name, rather than a title before the name, was more friendly. She didn't really have friends. Just, often, suitors who wanted to marry her for the sake of taking over Hyrule. Stripping away her power because, as they say, it's a man's world. The council fought her on it, but she stood firm. There would be no marriage other than to the man she loved.

"Being captain must be no easy feat, either. You should not give me all the praise. You must be quite the respectable man yourself. As for the need for water..."

Zelda's smile widened. A smile like the summer sun, bringing light upon the world.

"I possess the power of teleportation, through Farore's magic. She is the Goddess of Courage, and blessed me with the power to control wind. Through Farore's Wind, I can bring us right back here to the water at any point, should you require it. And I am most certain you would love Lake Hylia."

She held out her hand. Should he take it, she would gladly teleport him there.

"Will you join me?"

A princess AND a sage?

Truly, he'd met someone powerful, beyond the scope of what he was used to. In many ways, she reminded him of Culex. Not in stature or demeanor, just in importance. When he thought about it, he really did have some kind of magnetism when it came to important people. Culex, Mario, and now this woman.

"Aye, you can do a lotta things with time. It has the power in and of itself to make people age, kill people and even rewrite itself if yer crafty enough to try. In the end, it promises most the same result. It gives birth and takes people outta yer life…eventually it takes you through old age…" He trailed off in deep thought.

It was something he'd thought about, given his after life and how things turned out for him. The only reason he hadn't succumb to the cycle time brought with life and death was because he refused to be put to rest and shoved himself in a shark carcass.

At any moment, such a freedom could be taken from him, and Johnny knew best to live on all the borrowed time he had and make it worth while.

"Sounds like ya wear a lotta hats. I can relate to that, in some ways. Compared to you, I'm just a captain," a sentiment that was or wasn't being downplayed, depending on what you knew about him, "but, I protect my crew and those I'm loyal to. It's something I carry with pride! I can't let 'em down! what kinda captain would I be if I…"

A pause as flashes of the last moments of his life whizzed through his senses.

"…let them down?" A slight chuckle to cover up that awkward moment. "Ah, but you definitely are something special, that's for sure, princess."

Someone was genuinely excited to see him? Excited and not afraid of him? It was welcoming and warmed his heart to hear such words, especially from someone as important as Zelda. "Harr harr! Yer gonna flatter me to death, princess!"

"I can go a bit without it. Been training myself to attempt to breathe air…" His voice was filled with pride before it dipped into defeat. "Can't go as long as I want to, but I can manage. I'd like to go see Hyrule and all the things you wanna show me. I just might have to make stops along the way…"

He sighed. Johnny felt like a burden.

Hello, and welcome to my little blog!

This is the home of my fan project blog: Super Mario RPG: Rewritten! It's a retelling of canon events with a bit of a twist! It will cover the main series events with deeply driven character subplots and a bit of a different spin on some characters, their importance to the plot and how I think certain events should have played out.

As someone who enjoyed the series from the first game on the SNES, in many ways, this will be a love letter of sorts for something that's given me so much passion over the years. I feel like I have a lot to offer, and some unique takes on certain characters, so I hope you all enjoy what I have to offer! Gallery - will be located here to keep track of all of the pages. I also host on Comicfury so please support me by giving it a sub! I'm thinking about putting it on webtoons but I'm not sure if I want to yet.

That was the creed his kingdom had been built upon - They can't stop you if they're too afraid to fight! His heart soared into his twisted grin. It had been too long since cruelty paid!

"You're already my favorite troop." If not for the tight grip the princess had on his collar, Bowser would have taken that offer to break the walls down! Kicking the door in had to suffice.

Heads snap at their arrival in the bar! Yet, the Smithy Gang captivated their fears. Where pitchforks might have once been raised, the toads of the town raised their glasses and beckoned the giants inward. The monsters had contributed to their rescue. "All food and drink are covered, fellas!"

An uncomfortable low growl rumbled his very core. Bowser pouted - being welcomed by toads prodded at his reputation. He would have to prove his ferocity in a more family-friendly manner. All the food is covered.

"Let's eat and drink them out of house and home."

Being away from them seemed to lighten the Koopa King's mood.

Well, that was good for Johnny at least. There was an uncomfortable amount of tension brewing between them, enough to make the oceans bubble. Admittedly, it was kind of nice to relax for a bit after putting his old carcass through the ringer like that.

A drink would fix him right up!

He glanced to Bowser as he started explaining his rules. This guy really was a zero tolerance type. Must've ran a real tight ship before he joined up with Mario. From what Johnny knew, the two of them were enemies - constantly fighting for Peaches' hand.

Must be real awkward having those three be constantly together. Now that he thought about it…the entire group seemed in a bit of disarray.

"I can deal with you bein' Captain for a bit." Johnny would go along with it. After all, Bowser earned that right in their duel.

"I mean, if ya really wanna bust through the walls…" He held up his hook menacingly. "This hook shot'll take 'em out real good!"

Johnny laughed a little at the Koopa's question. "Oh, they are. Most everyone in Seaside fears Jonathan Jones!" He leaned in with a crooked smile. "But they can't throw me out if they're all too afraid of me, mate! Arr harr-harr!" @koopzilla

"Depends, really. You definitely gotta keep 'em up or they'll fall into disrepair. That can cause them to sink real quick...and of course if they get blasted real good. Everything ages over time, I'd imagine with time they become derelict. Not sure about sinkin' but there are ship graveyards for ships that have come to rest."
