What if Janus presented that $20 he stole from Virgil as a subtle way of giving it back to him without being openly charitable?

Janus may secretly be a dork but he's not stupid, surely he knows it's not a wise idea to just wave around something you took from someone else where everyone will see it.

There may be plausible deniability by saying it's just a coincidence and not the same $20, but Virgil still clocked it right away.

Its possible then that Janus either A: thought it would be funny to see if Virgil notices that it's his, or B: knew he'd notice and take it back, so he deliberately placed it where he could collect something he lost.

Tldr: there's a chance that Janus was trying to be nice and give Virgil his missing money back but didn't want to openly say "here, I'm doing a good deed" so he opted for a sneakier tactic.

Or this is just me making a headcanon out of a silly joke again...

I know we can never take anything that Neil says on this site in regards to Good Omens as meaning something any more than just a passing thought and thus this has an infinitely small chance to have any greater meaning but- BUT

I remember seeing an ask on Neil’s blog about how Crowley would have known about washing your hands becoming really popular in a few years to Mr Dalrymple and Neil literally suggested that he might have had a little peak at the ineffable plan.

i’m working on a Very Large kraken piece that probably won’t see the light of day for like another month, and its got a full team iced (1 goalie, 2 dmen, 3 forwards) and i need some opinions:

make them specific players from the team that correspond to the roles to make it like, more relevant and accurate (and if so, who from the team?)

make them nondescript Hockey Guys so as not to leave anyone out which i feel terrible about (a friend has already proposed going with the numbers 6, 9, 4, and 20)

It would be the absolute worst to have auditory hallucinations in this world. You'd lay in bed, trying to go to sleep, and in the quiet you'd hear a voice whisper, "brain eating worm" or whatever the pokething's name is. And the doctor can't hear it, you're just convinced it's not quiet enough when he's listening.

Also bad would be anxiety, laying there in the dark, wanting to sleep, but listening to the whispers of your gut bacteria, too quiet to make out, and wondering if they're going to kill you.
