Hi! Hello! Good morning on this ridiculously early Sunday morning, but today is a bit of a special day.

On this date last year I started watching The Last Kingdom, because I was incredibly bored one evening. That also means that it's exactly one year ago that I saw a specific photo of Sihtric that made me fall in love with him right away before even seeing him on the show (posting an edit of that pic later!). I binged season 1 within two days, and two days later I was fully introduced to the man this page is all about.

And what a ride it has been! From starting to read and write fics for the first time in my life, to making friendships online that will last forever and to meeting Arnas twice and having somewhat of a friendly contact every now and then; it's all still really fucking absurd to me and I can't grasp half of it to be honest.

I started this page last year on April 1st (I know, it's a great joke when you think about it), so that day is maybe even more special, but I genuinely thought I would've abandoned this place by now already. Because of my ADHD my hyperfixations come and go, but this isn't a hyperfixation. I can often tell the difference immediately, and I right away knew that my love for TLK/Sihtric was not temporary when it started, but that it would still be as strong one year later took me by surprise as well. I love the people I've met because of the show and also the personal growth I've been through the past year, all because of this show and because of Arnas, has been absolutely insane and I can't put it into words.

Do I still feel like an outsider in this fandom? I totally do, but then I always feel like that so that's not weird for me. I just want everyone to know how grateful I am that you are sticking by this page and some of you even with me personally on my insta, and it's been an absolute blast for real.

I've been meaning to write something for like a month now- (prepost edit 2 MONTHS cause apparently time doesn't exist-) Anyways, I'm here to ramble about stuff uwu

When I got the idea that I wanted to come on here to share something a month ago, it was about me making more stickers and me screen printing for the first time!

Lately I've been yearning to try different art stuff (other than drawing) and printmaking is one of them. I took a printmaking class in my senior year of college and due to burnout and my mental health, I didn't maintain a lot of information and I didn't do as well in the class and I wanted to (art wise). Also, it was an intro class, so it didn't cover screen printing, which I was initially interested in.

Now, thanks to brattyxbre on Youtube/Insta, after watching how she screen prints stuff for her business I tried doing it myself! The way she does it is by using a stencil instead of using emulsion/uv lights. I was debating whether to go the emulsion or stencil route, but using stencil was better for me because I live in a very VERY small room and I don't feel comfortable using chemicals like that in my room + I didn't feel like buying a uv light. There are probably ways I can still do this, but I'll save that for when I either get a bigger space or dedicate more time to printmaking.

It was so nerve wrecking doing this for the first time and I almost cried in the process (cause I did not have the energy to start over), but in the end, it came out better than I thought!! (Did this under my loft bed 😭)

I learned that my art for this print had too many details for a stencil because tiny pieces had issues transferring over onto the stencil and it was the bane of my existence. But.... I finished it. Now, I wanna come up with something better to print since I still have a blank tote to use >:3

I've also been experimenting with making more stickers and creating my own prints! I think I might've mentioned in my last post, but I caved in and bought a Cricut! I'm still learning about to properly use it, but it has helped with cutting stickers and cutting out that stencil for my screen print! My only issue with the Cricut right now is that I have trouble lining up my paper good enough to cut the stickers properly. Alas, a skill issue on my part 😔

I also bought a new printer!!! (I'm so broke please send help-) I got the Epson Ecotank-2850!! I hear from everywhere that it's great for saving on buying ink a lot. Instead of cartridges, it has bottle of ink that lasts way longer! I've printed test prints, "actual" prints (Ig XD), and some zines with this printer for the past month now and I still have more than 75% of ink! It made me feel so secure with experimenting with printing stuff and now I don't have to worry about buying ink every 2-4 weeks 😭

I guess all of this to say... I've been doing a lot of art "producing" (??) lately instead of creating more work XD Which I've been kinda enjoying while I have the time and mental capacity to do so, though it does make me nervous that I haven't been drawing for long periods of time... once again 🙄

I'm very bad at marketing myself, so I am debating about creating a silly video of myself to promote my ko-fi shop cause I feel like making a regular post on Insta (which is my main posting platform ig XD) just gets lost in the hole that is the algorithm?? I'm so bad at social media 💀 Being social on social media low-key sucks my life force away, but I have some good days, I gotta think of some way to get around it :3

Speaking of my ko-fi shop and stuff that I'm selling- I've finally posted a digital and physical version of the first volume of the zine series I am working on called "Otome for my Sins"!! I'm so excited for whenever I finish the 2nd volume of the series cause it will be a lot more CHUNKIER than the first one. It is taking me A SUPER long time finishing it. Sometimes I get sad about the fact that I haven't finished it yet (cause that would be no bueno if I was still in school), but I'm working a full-time retail job that sucks my life away, so I can give myself a little slack-

BUT I'M ALMOST FINISHED!! As I am writing this, I just have to format the last few pages and draw a 2-page comic and I'll be good... 〒▽〒 Here's a sneak peak of volume 2 :3

Lastly, for a recent art related thing I've been up to~ I've joined another speed run zine hosted by "bycmykae" (didn't at cause I'm shy and this is just rambles). It's a magical girl focused speed run zine that'll only show these series: Tokyo Mew Mew, Mermaid Melody Pitch Pitch, Ojamajo Doremi, Shugo Chara, and Pretty Cure!! I've watched Tokyo Mew Mew, part of Ojamajo Doremi, Shugo Chara, and 2-3ish shows of Precure... all before I entered college so I have few memories of all of them :D But I remember loving all of them (though Shugo Chara was kinda different but I explain that in the first volume of my Otome for my Sins zine 👀)

I think I may do my illustration on Tokyo Mew Mew. I did start it, but I'm not far enough to feel SETTLED in it, y'know~ and if I miraculously finish it and feel like doing a 2nd piece (or if I scrap it) I may do a HeartCatch Precure fanart! I wish I could do Ojamajo Doremi, but I didn't finish the series and it's been several years since I've watched it. I so wanna rewatch + finish it soon.

I did rewatch some of the first few episodes of Tokyo Mew Mew the other day while starting my illustration and ohhhh boy do I miss the good ol' days of watching this series. It's so silly. I really wanna read the manga soon =^=

In other news, after having this game downloaded on my tablet for years, I've finally fallen down the Twisted Wonderland hole!! Thanks to one of my friends also getting addicted on it and neglecting her otome games I had to see what was up! Now I understand why she fell into the hole!! I don't know/remember why it didn't stick with me when I first started playing (I downloaded it when it first came out in NA), so I had to reread the prologue, but this game is so good!!

I love the voice acting, music, and the beautiful GOREGOUS character designs from THE QUEEN Yana Toboso <3 I also love how animated the sprites are during the story! The only other game that I have played that does something similar with moving sprites is Obey Me! (also rip to obey me 💀 it's been forever since I've played that game too-)

My favorite character so far is Malleus ✨Despite not meeting him in the main story yet 😭 I'm at the beginning of book 2 right now... BUT I've been griding with leveling up my SSR cards and I'm playing my first event! Which is the Fairy Gala Remix :3 I don't plan on rolling the gacha even though Ortho card is GORGEOUS!!!

I might regret this one day... and I don't feel like getting another Ace card... well... not like the gacha will gift me those cards anyways 😭 When I first started playing again (and kinda the main reason I ran back to the app) was because a Malleus Raincoat gacha was happening and thankfully and had a LARGE stock somehow (maybe from being a way from the game for so long and barely playing when I first started). So, I rolled 11 10-pulls and got the wonderful beautiful Malleus raincoat card, but that left me BROKE. It was worth it though. Anyways I stand so hard for my #1s, so I'm saving up for the next premium gacha featuring Malleus hehe.

I also enjoy Deuce, Idia, and Kalim :33 special shout out to Ortho cause it was my first time ig seeing him in action with this event. And he is so WHOLESOME. I also enjoy Riddle!! Finally (I think), this past week I've been playing Pikmin Bloom! My friend (and ex dorm roommate) visited our college town and since I live close to there, we hung out and caught up!! It was so fun!!! I've notice during our adventures, she was playing this cute game on her phone. I recently heard of Pikmin before this my interest was peaked. It reminded me a lot of Pokemon Go and this was super kawaii so I decided to try it out AND I LOVE IT!!!

In order to play the game, it counts how many steps you walk and that is such a good motivator to go outside and walk (especially on the days I'm off of work...which is 2 days a week 😭) I don't go out in my community a lot (ew humans and ew possible stray gators 💀 jk but 👀) but now I DON'T CARE!! Plus I get A BUNCH of steps in at work so WIN-WIN teehee. I also joined the Pikmin Bloom reddit, that's how I know I'm really into this game hehe. *recent reddit scroller uwu

Star's 1st day!

So today I went to school, the ush, and when I go there I didn't see my friend Lily. We're like super close even tho we only started talking this school year because we went to the same middle school and were now on the same bus. I always thought she was was cool and funny but she was never in any of my classes but now that shes on my bus we hang out a lot. We mostly hang out while waiting for school to start infront of the school and after school while we wait for the bus and on the bus. But outside of that when she has something to smoke we walk to the forest near our house and sit by the creek and smoke till we can't anymore. She's super cool and nice but she has diving first period which is at another school so she's barely ever there in the mornings and I just sit with my other friend who leaves for orchestra 30 mins before my first class so I basically just spend the morning akward and alone in the crowd. Sadly (and thankfully) lily got a concussion so she can't go to diving for a while.

Turns out she was just late and we chatted for a bit and I told her how this guy I liked last year forgot about me and she laughed at me which was kinda mean and made me sad because I would never do that to her. And I told her how I felt sad abt not being able to talk to him before and idk it just sucked but I didn't say nun.

Lily and me don't have any classes together so after walking with her friends that I don't know to my first period I just did my work. I like math so I'm glad it's my first period but this cute guy sits next to me and I looked rlly bad today so I wanted to cry but not that much.

It just sucks that I have to let people see my disgusting appearance everyday even though I don't want to yk?

That guy didn't say anything to me bc we arent friends but whenever he does I don't even say words back I just nod my head or sumthing. It's bc my voice is a bit fucked up from smoking since 6th grade so I have to cough before I start talking which is an inconvinience I have made an instinct to ignore. In my next class I studied for my oral spanish test since theatre tech doesn't matter. In my 3rd period class I talked to my friend but I kept talking and I think she was getting rlly annoyed at me so I stopped. I still have to finish the notes for that class. I had lunch after that and it smelled so good I wanted to cry because I felt so fat for enjoying the smell of the food (today was a very crying mood). Me and my friend from 3rd period watched gravity falls till lunch ended and then we walked to english. I went to english and hated every second of it despite it being one of my highest grades. after that I went to the PSAT dry run and started a practice test that I was doing kinda good in. After that I went to biology and took the test and got a 100. after that I went to spanish and took the oral exam and I got paired with the cute guy from my first period. My heart was lowkey racing bc I didn't wanna fail but also bc his voice is soooo fine too.

After that I went to my last period class and prayed lily got her cart so we could get baked but she didn't. I walked to the front of the school with lily and her friends, behind them while they were talking to her. I followed lily around and talked to her and her friends till the bus came

ALSO there was a fight and me and lily didn't see it but we say the guys getting caught and one of them had a shit ton of blood running down his neck!! And we saw a video and it was two edgars fighting AND AT ONE POINT THE OTHER EDGAR GOT ONTOP OF THE ONE WHO WAS BLOODY AT THE END AND BC HE WAS SAGGING HIS BOXERS WERE ON FULLLL DISPLAY LEMME TELL YA.

On the bus me and lily watched insta reels and I asked her if she wanted to go to the creek without smoking n she said no.

I'm sad that kaiden didn't remember me, he was the last person I knew was interested in me and now I aint even got that goin for me. Maybe I just got ugly over summer or sum which would make sense bc I gained some weight but I'm only eating like 300 calories a day now so hopefully I lose it soon. I hope I'm pretty by my birthday.

For her character design I merged the body paint and lila's fox outfit, adding ears, and a hip wrap that flows out like a tail. In my idea of this au, Lila serves as an underling of the mummy/hawk moth. I will be flipping between Lila and Emelie or possibly Nathalie depending on what scenes I choose. I hope you like this! I honestly am so proud of how this piece turned out

The owl house wrapped up recently and to celebrate I made some art and realized hey I should probably start posting here

ALRIGHT WHILE I AM NEVER GOING TO BE ABLE TO RETYPE MY THOUGHTS I JUST LOST HERS MY LLSHORT OF IT

I love the owl house so much and that finale was just amazing. Sure it wasn't perfect but it was damn good even without considering the MASSIVE type cuts. It was just so good and satisfying and AGHHHH I LOVED IT!!!! This show means so much to me!!!! So of course I had to draw my favorite character and the main character herself. But I decided to draw her epilogue design bc I love it so much. Luz means so much to me and is just so relatable. Before I started watching and had no context I thought I'd relate to amity cause I too was a baby gay with a crush I didn't know what to do with. But then I watched the show and wow. Luz hit me so hard, harder than any character has before. I've never related to any character more and that just became more true as the show went on. Especially later when she clearly is suffering from depression that really hit me since I was going through the same dark space. I related to hard to how her depression completely changed her from the peppy and bubbly kid she was. But to see the epilogue where Luz is now the same age as me and happy and even though her problems did change her so much she's ok? That just really gives me hope.

Now onto the drawing, I just had to draw her epilogue design bc wow thats like my favorite ending credits ever?!?! And her design is just a home run in the epilogue especially her keeping those lil lashes!!! I threw in my headcanons like the genderfluid pin, the multiple pins themselves (Luz is a pin and sticker hoarder argue with the wall) and the toof!!! She should definitely keep the lil fang I love it. Also I gave her slightly more purple hair, the fang and glowing eyes as remnants of her titan form. I like the idea that maybe the 1st night back to normal at her moms house she goes down to get a midnight snack and camila thinks she's one of the boiling isles kids bc of her glowing eyes(which I headcanon witches and demons all have) and luz is like???? It's luz not one of the others??? And my eyes aren't glowing??? And camila just grabs her and puts her in front of a mirror to show yes they very much are. Who knows I may make a comic

I really loved the finale it was just so good and emotional. If you wanna get my thoughts in a more haphazard form my instagram post has that lol. More reaction. And I may post my thoughts I WOULD HAVE HAD HERE in different posts eventually who knows. But yeah I realized I should really start posting here. Procrastination + imposter syndrome is a hell of a combo. But yeah im here now! I also have an insta by the same name(just with underscores) and soon to have a portfolio site(stay tuned muhahaha)

But yeah im definitely going to try and post here more!

1st off: You/Ducks got him with one of his team besties, Dominik Simon!!

They've been friends since their days in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. In fact, here's Reeser and Dom in their 2017 Barcelona trip with Jamie Oleksiak and other (at the time) Pens!

2nd: He's literally one of the best defensive forwards in hockey.

Like Jfresh said, he seems like a slow skater at first, but he's consistent in breaking up play in the defensive zone, buying time for his team, & keeping the puck away from the goalie.

Reeser's also NOT afraid to throw down and fight!

Reeser's extremely aware that he has more to give on the offensive side of things, so don't worry about that.

Since the 20-21 season, he's been vocal about wanting to have a more offensive-minded game. He certainly wants to top his best of nine goals from that season!

1: In another third-line Power Line, & create another defensive wall like the Aston-Reese-Blueger-Tanev line

2: Put Reeser in a Boyle-Kapanen-like line and have Reeser score more.

Reeser's well-liked for being straightforward, charming, affable, & giving thoughtful answers during interviews! He's also considerate to fans!

Reeser is also Bryan and Kelsey Rust's adoptive son (not literally, but the Rusts called him that, SO)!

Reeser stayed with the Rust's and Kelsey's brother during the pandemic, and that helped them grow really close.

Purpose of this acc (plus a bit of an introduction)

Hello fellow reader or writer or poet or human, I’m Lux (that’s my pen name). I’m making this acc for a rlly cool idea I found on pinterest and that was to write a diary entry but rlly dramatized like the scene of a book. And to do that every day. So from now on I will use this app that I think was made to blog with these funny tags that make sentences to write my dramatized diary entries. They will probably be mostly fake, so dw if I write sm that sounds like an insane person wrote it, saying they see ghosts or smth. I will also write some random thoughts in here bc it’s fun and that way it feels more like a blog to me.

Now that you know what the inspiration was, why do I need a whole acc for it? Bc I JUST CANT WRITE A DIARY ENTRY EVERY SINGLE DAY. So I will use the internet to put some pressure on me. Thank you for being part of this.

I like the sky a lot, it’s often in my pictures and was in my poem of yesterday :D

I have 3 novel wips (aka just bad involved ideas) for which I still don’t have plot nor the 1st draft (I keep writing poetry or just short texts to avoid them) 

Edit: I’m writing on a short story rn and IM ACTUALLY MAKING PROGRESS?? So yeah short stories are dope. I also love poetic use of language aka Shakespeare and good world building aka fantasy and good pacing aka Poe’s short stories

5. Laid Back Camp Movie  Some great anime in the past 3 months.  So much has happened in the past year. Or maybe not so much, things were getting so repetitious that the monotony may have made me ill.  Just as how I’d used to go through anime in the past. If there’s a nice ad, I pick it up, keep a look out. When it airs, I may follow. 

When a new season start, I do a quick run through the titles, cover art, trailer, synopsis. There’s no specific number, no specific, but I’ll be watching a number of them, at least 1st to 3rd episode. And drop some along the way.  Just found out lately there’s a genre by the name of “Iyashikei”  癒し系, a sub-genre of “slice of life” genre. And that’s one genre that I really like. But also, not quite a genre I would watch while it is still airing.  Couple more anime that was not bad, but I’ve dropped along the way. I may go back to it if there is more time at hands.  1. Koukyuu no Karasu (Raven in the Inner Palace) 2. Bibliophile Princess 3. Chainsaw Man  Ok. To be fair. I dropped chainsaw man partly cause my brother told me the ending already. And maybe I am thankful for that, since I really don’t have as much time on hand.  I came back to a blog (instead of insta) largely due to the dichotomy of my work life, and my private life. 

Having work colleagues on my instagram isn’t exactly the most fun. While my thoughts are alright, perhaps people wouldn’t care at all when I was studying overseas. But I just feel so immensely judged when back home. 

So I’m here looking for a space to express. Haha. But I may work on that spare Insta account too. After all, it’s much quicker to look through the thumbnail photo on instagram to know which anime/ series/ movie/ books I’ve watched and liked.  And the original instagram? I don’t know. That’ll be my submarine tank stalking other people. LOL
