So my #2017bestnine... Very interesting... with the exception of the Death Note picture at #1 (easily the most liked thing I've ever posted on Instagram by a longshot) and the Love Live picture in the middle, none of these pictures are actually anime related cosplays. Also with the exception of the pic of the me and the wonderful Ramona Flowers cosplayer from Amine Central 2016 that was taken for me that I edited, everything is from 2017's Katsucon or Magfest.. Yea though, looking forward to expanding my photography in the new years, and taking even better photos of cosplay and non cosplay related things :)

2017 has been the most difficult yet rewarding year of my life thus far. If I had to describe the year in one word without a doubt it would be CHANGE. This year brought love & loss. I lost myself for a while & then found & got to know myself all over again. This has been a year of discovery, growth, persistence, & accomplishment. I’ve achieved every goal I had for the year & far more than I could have foreseen. I graduated both cosmetology & barber school. I passed both of my state board exams & received two licenses. I got a job right out of school. A job that I love which allows me to use my skills & creativity on a daily basis. I’ve gained many kind, loyal clients & many amazing friends. Through all the curveballs this year has thrown my way I’ve gotten to see just how many incredible people there are in my life that truly have my best interests at heart. Thank you to those that have had my back through thick & thin & helped me pick up the pieces when my life seemingly fell apart at times. Thank you for encouraging me to keep pushing forward when it would have been much easier to just give up & “quit while I was ahead.” I have only one goal for the upcoming year: to create my own happiness. Here’s hoping that 2018 is a year full of happiness for us all. Cheers to a new year.

My first thought when looking at this collage: HOLY STARBUCKS. 🤣🤣🤣 • • • • • I knew Raven was up there but I'm happy to see that a little of Wanda and Naruto got up there too! 🤣 but seriously... holy Starbucks. I guess you guys just can't resist the call of the siren 😘 2017 was the first year I really got involved in the cosplay community and I LOVE IT so much! I love meeting people and talking to all you guys and ugh. It fills me up.
