My AI Pair Programmer Works as Hard as I Do
How I Rediscovered My Love for Building With Help From an Invisible Teammate When I first started programming, it was exciting—creative, even intoxicating. I came from a background in electronics engineering, and code felt like this unlimited sandbox where I could invent anything. I dove in enthusiastically, thinking I’d found the perfect side hustle or creative outlet. But then something…

Masterlist Ch 1
Addi’s POV
Week three went by fast. The pilots in Corpus were coming along well. They were flying better as a unit and had started to really master the skills. The higher ranking officers were impressed with the Daggers and mentioned letting their CO back on North Island know.
Addi had called her brother as soon as they’d gotten back to base the previous Sunday and asked about getting together the next weekend. She’d filled him in a little on everything going on with Jake and said that while the circumstances of their adoptions had been different, having been older when finding out, Luke might have some insight in helping Jake navigate his feelings. He’d quickly agreed and had suggested meeting at their beach house in Galveston. It was actually his wife’s family’s, but was available. Ava had called mid-week to tell her that Luke had called to invite her to the beach house that weekend too and see if Addi minded if she invited Bradley. Jake had already told Bradley about everything so he was fine with it.
Friday, the Admiral in charge dismissed everyone early allowing them to get an early start to Galveston.
Addi texted her brother letting him know they were able to leave early. He texted back with the code to the house in case they beat him there. Ava was on her way as well, which made Bradley happy.
They ended up getting there just as Luke and Katie pulled in. Addi laughed when she saw her niece and nephew’s faces plastered to the window.
“Buckle up.” Addi laughed, “The twins are about to be unleashed.”
“I forgot they were twins.” Jake smiled, looking over at them. “They’re excited to see you.”
“It’s been awhile.” She replied, unbuckling and getting out of the car.
Walking over to her brother’s SUV, she quickly hugged her sister in law before heading to the back passenger door and opening it up.
“My twinadoes!” Addi said. “I’ve missed you so so much!”
“Auntie Addi!” They squealed.
She helped Elena with her seatbelt while Luke got Owen out on the other side. In a matter of seconds Addi was tackled by the kids, but wouldn’t want it any other way.
“Ok, give Auntie Addi a chance to get up.” Luke laughed, “You’ll have all weekend to tackle her again.”
“Who are they?” Elena asked, looking at Jake and Bradley, suddenly shy.
“This is my boyfriend Jake and my friend Bradley.” Addi said introducing them, “We all fly together.”
“I wanna be a pilot too!” Owen beamed, “Just like Auntie Addi!”
“That’s awesome, little man.” Jake said, smiling, “I was probably about your age when I decided I wanted to fly too.”
“Jake, Bradley, this is my nephew Owen and my niece Elena.” Addi said, introducing the kids first, then turned to the adults, “And this is my big brother Luke and sister in law Katie.”
“It’s nice to finally meet you.” Luke said, “Both of you… apparently this is going to be the weekend for meeting my sisters’ boyfriends.”
Addi and Jake laughed at how quickly Bradley started to blush and the deer in headlights look that passed his face.
“Ava will be here shortly to save you, Roo.” Addi said, patting him on the back.
The weekend ended up being just what everyone needed. The twins kept everyone entertained and had taken an immediate liking to both Jake and Bradley. Just like when Jake watched Addi with his nieces, seeing Jake with her niece and nephew melted her heart and made her fall even more in love with the man. It was also nice to see him laughing and relaxed after several weeks of being keyed up and emotionally wrought.
Saturday morning, Luke and Jake had gone down to the beach early in the morning and talked. Whatever Luke had said to Jake had taken a load off of Jake’s shoulders. He seemed lighter when he got back. Ava also talked to him and reassured him that whenever he was ready to talk to his sisters she could tell him from experience they wouldn’t love him any less. He would be the same baby brother he’d always been.
Sunday as everyone was packing up Addi went to Luke and hugged him fiercely.
“Thank you Lukey.” She said, “I needed this. But more importantly, Jake needed this weekend. I couldn’t ask for a better big brother and I am so lucky and thankful that the universe gave me you. I love you so much.”
“I love you too, Adds.” He replied, hugging you back just as tightly, “I’m always here if and when you need me, no questions asked. I’m glad I was able to help. I like him, Adds. He’s a good guy. I’m also pretty damn lucky and very thankful to have you as my baby sister.”
“Do you ever think about doing the whole DNA thing to see if you have other family out there?” Addi asked him.
“The only reason I would consider it would be for a genetic history standpoint.” Luke replied, “To know if there is anything I need to be worried about health history wise. I don’t personally care if I have any other relatives out there. I have my family. The one I was raised in… it’s all I need. BUT, my circumstances are a lot different than Jake’s. We know why I was put up for adoption. He doesn’t.”
“I know.” She replied, “I was just curious if you ever wondered.”
“Nope.” He smiled, “I’m good. Looks like the guys are ready to get going. Just for the record, I like Bradley too. He better not hurt Ava though.”
“I already told him if he did I’d shoot him down.” Addi laughed.
“That’s my girl.” Luke said proudly, “Be safe, Adds. We love you. We’re going to try to get out to San Diego this summer sometime.”
“Love you too.” She replied, “I’d love to have y’all out there. I can take a few days leave and we can hit the zoo or Legoland.”
The final week in Texas was mainly the three Daggers watching and monitoring the squadron they’d trained and ironing out the kinks as needed. They would still need to work as a team in order to become as cohesive as the Daggers had become but even they hadn’t happened overnight. It was a good start.
As soon as they’d made it back to San Diego, Javy had been on the doorstep checking in on Jake. They all went out to the Hard Deck to celebrate being back as a whole squadron on Saturday. Jake decided to fill everyone in on the excitement of the past month. They were all very supportive of Jake, which still caught him off guard sometimes.
“If you want, I’m pretty good at using the genealogy and ancestry sites that are linked with the DNA sites.” Bob said, “My aunt also works in social services, specifically the adoption side of things…and she might have some suggestions if you’re looking to find some information.”
“Thanks, Bob.” Jake said. “I’ll let you know… I’m still… undecided.”
Monday morning when they were getting ready for work, Jake came into the bathroom where Addi was pulling her hair up and leaned against the doorframe. He was already in his uniform ready to go.
“Everything ok?” She asked, pushing the last bobby pin in to secure the bun.
“I think I want to try to find out more about my birth family.” He said, “I just… feel like I need to know. Not necessarily because I want a relationship. I’d just like to know why.”
“OK.” Addi replied, stepping over to wrap her arms around his waist and tip her head up to look at him, “Let’s find them.”
They enlisted Bob’s help once they got to work that morning. He’s called his aunt who suggested first contacting the adoption agency. Even if it was a closed adoption there might be something they could tell him. She also suggested since he had the DNA results, contacting the people listed and posting his own message on the site letting anyone who matched as potential family know he’s looking. So that’s where they started. Jake also called his mom to find out anything she knew about his birth to give them a location to hit up hospital records.
A week after they started, Jake called you into the living room where he was sitting with his laptop open and showed you an email he’d gotten.
Jake-
I can’t tell you how excited I was to get your email. My mom got us all these kits for Christmas this year as a gift for my aunt. She had twin boys when she was a junior in high school. She knew she wouldn’t be able to provide a good home or life for them and didn’t have the support of any other family. She made the difficult choice to place the boys up for adoption. It broke her heart. She never had any more kids. Anyway, my aunt heard about this service helping reunite people and thought it was worth a shot. You showing as a 1st cousin to me… Jake, I think it means you’re one of Auntie Lynn’s twin boys. It’ll make her so happy to know her boys are ok and got adopted to a good home, even if y’all don’t want to meet her. I promise you I won’t give out any information or anything until you give me permission. I’m including all of my contact info here. If you want to meet first I am happy to do so. I can come to y’all if that’s easier.
Take Care, I hope to hear from you again
Your Cousin-
Meg
“Holy shit, Jakers.” Addi whispered. “Baby….”
“I know.” He said, his voice raw. “I think I know where my twin is.”
“I think I know who your twin is.” She replied. “Do you think he knows?”
“No idea.” Jake sighed, “I guess I can send a video to him on YouTube… that’ll be a kicker.”
“And I doubt he’d see anything in the comments.” She stated. “Are you going to reply? Or call her?”
“Yeah, I am.” He said, “I want to know more and I have a fucking twin brother, Addi. Why wouldn’t they keep us together?”
“I don’t know, Jakers.” She replied, “But we can try to find out. Go ahead and try calling Meg back and I’ll jump on my laptop to see what I can find for you.”
“Ok, but stay here?” He asked, needing you close.
“Of course.” She promised.
She grabbed her laptop and got comfy again next to Jake while he called Meg. She waited until he started talking to her then jumped on Google to start looking for information on Tyler Owens. She wouldn’t actually reach out to him yet but she wanted to have info in case she needed it. Striking out, Addi went to the YouTube channel to see if there was any contact information there. She decided to look up one of the other chasers in the video Lilly… maybe she could find contact for her and get to Tyler that way if needed. She ended up finding an Instagram account but no idea if it was current or not.
Until they had more to work with she wasn’t sure where else to look so she pulled her phone out and sent a text to Bob asking if he could check with his aunt on why they’d split twins and if he had any ideas.
Jake got off the phone with Meg and leaned back on the couch, resting his head on the back.
Addi set her laptop down on the coffee table and scooted closer to him, running her hand up his arm.
“You ok?” She asked, gently.
“Yeah.” He sighed, snagging her around her waist and pulling her over so she was on his lap straddling him. She laid her head down on his shoulder knowing he just needed the closeness right now. “She was shocked that we’d been separated and that I had no idea I was a twin. She said she would try to get as much information as she could for me without tipping anyone off. I’m just… I don’t know if I’m ready to meet my birth mother. If I’ll ever be. It does make me feel a little better though knowing it wasn’t because I wasn’t wanted.”
“Oh, Jakers.” She whispered, turning her head to kiss him on his collarbone, “How could anyone not want you? You’re incredible, my Handsome Flyboy.”
Addi lifted her head and shifted to kiss Jake, their lips connecting in a slow, intimate kiss. She nibbled on his lower lip, then licked over it before her tongue met his, deepening the kiss. They sat like that on the couch, kissing and holding each other for several minutes.
“I texted Bob to ask him to ask his aunt for tips on what to do next.” She told him, “And I looked up Tyler but didn’t get far…he’s kinda hard to find info on. Nothing for socials. His friend Lilly though, one of the other wranglers has an Instagram.”
“Should I add her and message her?” He asked. “Or do you want to?”
“However you want to do it.” She replied.
“Can you?” He asked, “It makes me nervous adding women on my Instagram.”
“Baby, I know you’re not doing anything” She laughed.
“Still.” He replied, shrugging.
“Ok, I’ll reach out.” She said, “But like I said, I don’t know if it’s even an active account.”
The next day while they sat at lunch, Addi checked Instagram to see if Lilly had been active or returned her message… but was disappointed when there was nothing. She’d really hoped there’d be a response.
“So my aunt said she’d reach out to some friends who had connections in different adoption agencies to see what she can come up with.” Bob said, “Since it looks like you’ve contacted your first cousin? That might actually be your best bet, Jake. If it was a closed adoption, you might need a court order to get them opened.”
“Thanks, Bob.” Jake said, “Meg was going to try to get more information from her mom without giving too much away. She understands I’m not sure I want to meet my birth mother yet.”
“That’s understandable.” He said.
“That is something that gets to be 100% your choice on your timeline Jake.” Phoenix said. “Do not let anyone pressure you or make you feel guilty. This is one of those things where it’s completely ok to be selfish.”
“Thanks, Nix.” Jake replied, quietly.
“So… elephant in the room…” Javy smirked, “Looks like we were all right, huh? You did bear a striking resemblance to Tyler Owens.”
Phoenix reached over and smacked him.
“Shut up, dickhead.” Jake laughed, tossing a grape at his friend.
“Got you to laugh though.” Javy shrugged, popping the grape into his mouth.
Deciding to steer the conversation back to happier ground for Jake’s sake, Addi turned to Bradley. “So Rooster…” She said, leveling him with a playful smirk, drawing a groan from the man. “How are things with my sister?”
“Wait… what?” Phoenix asked, her head whipping to Bradley. “What the fuck, Bradshaw? I’m your best friend and you don’t tell me you’ve gone and gotten yourself a girl? Storm’s sister nonetheless?”
“It’s new.” He mumbled, then looked at Addi and couldn’t help the goofy smile that overtook his face, “It’s good. She’s looking at possible dates she can come out.”
“I know.” Addi laughed, “I just wanted to fuck with you.”
“Why, Addi?” Bradley groaned, “Why are you like this?”
“You love me and you know it.” She smiled sweetly, “The little sister you always wanted…and are going to one day have.”
“Oh my god, Storm.” Bradley laughed, “Stop.”
“I dunno…I’m kind of enjoying this.” Jake said, “Besides… who’d have thought that one day we’d be brothers, Rooster?”
“Fuck my life.” Bradley groaned. Causing the entire table to erupt in laughter.
Jake’s POV
Meg ended up calling back a few days later when they were leaving base after work. Jake put her on speaker so he could drive.
“So I managed to get some information from my aunt. I’ve got the name of the hospital and the doctor that delivered you and your brother…although he’s retired.” Meg said, “I also managed to piece together enough information that I know who your birth father is if and when you ever want that information.”
“I didn’t even think about that.” Jake said. “Thanks, Meg. I’m not ready. I’m sorry, I know you all did the DNA hoping to help your aunt…”
“Stop… it’s ok, Jake.” Meg said, “I understand. I want you to feel comfortable and know that you at least have one ally in your bloodline. We’re family. Doesn’t matter that I’ve never met you.”
“I think I need to come to Oklahoma.” Jake said, “Go to the hospital in person, maybe go to the adoption agency. I also want to try to find my twin brother. I think I know who he is… it’s just been hard to get in contact with him.”
“I can try to help you.” Meg offered. “If you want to meet with me… the town the rest of the family is in is a good distance from the hospital and everything so you wouldn’t have to worry about running into anyone.”
“That would be great, Meg.” Jake said, “I will put in for a few days leave and let you know. It might take a week or two since I need my girlfriend to get leave as well.”
“Just let me know and I will meet you.” She said, “Just be aware, we’re having some nasty weather lately… lots of storms.”
“Meg, have you heard of Tyler Owens?” Jake asked.
“Of course!” She laughed, “Everyone here’s heard of him. The Tornado Wrangler. He’s a trip. Love his videos. His crew actually goes around and helps out in the towns that get hit by the storms. Luckily, we haven’t had any tornadoes hit around here. Why do you ask?”
“Umm, one sec, Addi’s going to text you something.” He said, hold on.
Addi took the phone and pulled up a picture of him in uniform with his name tag on it that was taken recently and texted it to Meg before setting his phone back on the holder and waiting.
“Holy SHIT!” Meg exclaimed, “Jake! This is crazy…”
“Yeah.” He replied, “Any ideas how we go about finding Tyler?”
“I’ll work on it.” She promised, “Good LORD… not just twins… identical twins.”
“Looks that way.” Jake said, “Or just fraternal twins but we look the exact same.”
“I think it’s safe to say identical.” Meg said. “Maybe my mom will know. I can ask.. I’ll just say I need to know before I go and start having kids.”
“Oh shit!” Addi piped up, a light going off, “Twins can be genetic.”
Jake laughed, “That was Addi.” He told Meg.
“Hi, Addi.” Meg said, “I hope to get to meet you soon. Both of you.”
“Hi!” Addi replied, “Thank you for all the help. I hope to meet you too!”
“I’ll ask around to see if anyone has any personal ties to Tyler or his crew.” Meg said, “Is it ok if I make contact with them or do you want me to wait for you?”
“If you can get us an idea of where they’ll be or how we can meet up with them, that would be great.” Jake said, “I think it should be me that makes the contact.”
“Sounds good.” Meg said.
**************
It took two weeks to get everything set up with leave and to make travel plans. Admiral Simpson had been very understanding when Jake had gone to explain the situation and ask for a couple of weeks as well as to have Addi go along with him. He told Jake to call if he needed anything or if there was any red tape he could help him get through. Jake hadn’t even thought to ask if there was a way the Navy could help.
They flew into Oklahoma City then rented a car and drove to Enid where they were going to meet Meg. They checked into the hotel when they got there and then walked to find food, not wanting to get back into the car.
“I don’t think I’ve been this nervous since the first day of the Academy.” Jake said, “Watching you launch off the carrier for the Uranium Mission… was still worse than this… but you get the point.”
“It’s gonna be ok, Jakers.” Addi said, taking his hand in hers as they walked. “No matter what, you’ve got me. You’ve got Rebecca and Laura. And your parents are still your parents.”
“Becca called while you were in the air a couple days ago.” He said, “She said mom’s been acting off for awhile… since I was home and she picked up on the tension. She asked what was going on.”
“What did you tell her?” She asked.
“That it wasn’t something I was ready to talk about yet.” He replied, “Not the best answer, but I was on the spot.”
“Maybe after this trip you’ll have some answers.” She said gently.
“Maybe.” He replied, “How do you feel about barbecue?”
“I mean, it’s not Texas.” She shrugged, laughing, drawing a smirk from Jake. “But I never turn down barbecue.”
They stepped into the restaurant and the waitress called to them to sit where they wanted. Jake led the way to a booth by the window so they could people watch while they ate.
“Evenin’, I’m Hannah, what can I get y’all to drink?” Hannah asked, laying down menus on the table. “We’ve got Coke products, iced tea, Lemonade and if you want beer we’ve got most domestics.”
“An iced tea sounds great, please.” Addi said, smiling.
“I’ll take the same, Thank you.” Jake said.
“I’ll go grab those right away for you.” She replied, staring for a moment at Jake before heading off to the kitchen.
“Whatcha gonna get, Beautiful?” Jake asked, picking up his menu and looking at what they offered, “I want it all.”
“The samplers would be a good way to do that.” Addi laughed, “You get a little bit of everything it looks like.”
“That’s a fantastic idea.” He said
“I know, that’s why I suggested it.” She smirked, “It’s also what I was planning to do because I couldn’t make up my mind.”
“Could you be any more perfect.” He asked
“Far from perfect.” She assured him. “So what’s the game plan?”
“Meg will be here in an hour or so.” Jake said. “She got a room at the same hotel. I guess we’ll meet up and then go from there.”
“There’s a bar in the hotel…” Addi suggested, “We can always meet down there”
“Might be good.” Jake agreed.
“Alright, here are your drinks.” Hannah said, placing them in front of them, “Have you decided on what you want to eat?”
“Yes, Ma’am,” Jake replied, “I’d like the sampler please with the brisket, ribs and chicken.”
“And for your sides?” She asked.
“Coleslaw, cornbread and green beans please.” He replied smiling as he handed her back the menu.
“Got it.” She smiled, “And for you?”
“I’m going to do the sampler too, please” Addi said, “With brisket, pulled pork and burnt ends. And same sides as he’s having. Thank you.” She smiled, handing her the menu.
“I’ll put those in right away.” Hannah said. She paused though before leaving, “I’m sorry, I have to ask, are you Tyler Owens?”
“No ma’am.” Jake replied, smiling. “My name’s Jake Seresin. I’ve been told we look a bit similar though.”
“You could be his twin.” She laughed, not even knowing the half of it. “Sorry about that.”
“No need to apologize.” He said, reassuring her.
After she walked away Addi and Jake had to fight back laughter.
“Might have to get used to that.” Addi cautioned, “The Tornado Wranglers are really well known in Oklahoma and Arkansas.”
“That Lilly… she never messaged back?” Jake asked.
“No.” she replied, “But no new pictures have been posted either.”
“Hopefully Meg has some leads,” Jake sighed.
After dinner, they decided to walk around to work off some of the food before heading back to the hotel. Addi noticed people doing double takes and staring a few seconds longer than necessary at Jake. Just before they made it back to the hotel a little boy ran up to them and asked Jake for his autograph. Jake froze now knowing what to do.
“Hey, Buddy.” Addi said, “This is my friend Jake. We’re pilots in the Navy. It would be cool if he were a tornado wrangler though, huh?”
“I’m so sorry!” The boy’s mom hurried over to them. “He got excited and ran over before I could catch him.”
“It’s ok, Ma’am.” Jake said, recovering, “I’m sorry I’m not Tyler, pal. I hope you get to meet him for real.”
“You really do look like him.” The boy’s mom said, smiling.
“He gets that a lot.” Addi laughed.
“We won’t keep you.” the mom said, “Sorry again.”
“No worries.” Jake smiled.
They headed back into the hotel and up to their room to wait for Meg. She’d texted to say she was about twenty minutes out.
“Maybe the hotel bar isn’t a good idea.” Jake said, flopping down onto the bed.
“Yeah, you’re kind of a celebrity around here?” Addi teased.
“Maybe I should just post a damn YouTube video.” Jake said, “Or a TikTok… Looking for my long lost identical twin brother… Can anyone help me?”
“Let’s keep that as our last resort ok?” Addi laughed. “I’m sure we won’t have to resort to that.”
A half hour later, Jake’s phone rang. Meg had arrived at the hotel and was checking in. She was going to drop her stuff off at her room and then wanted to know where they wanted to meet. Jake gave their room number, deciding to do the initial meeting in private.
“I feel like I’m gonna throw up.” Jake whispered after hanging up.
Addi silently walked over to him and wrapped her arms around him. “It’s going to be ok, Jakers.” She said, “I love you.”
“I love you too, Addi.” Jake replied, melting into her, “I couldn’t do this without you.”
“You could but you’ll never have to.” She promised.
There was a soft knock on the door, drawing them apart.
“I’ll get the door.” Addi said, “Take a couple of deep breaths.”
Addi walked over to the door and opened it to a woman close to or maybe just a bit younger than they were. She had similar hair coloring to Jake’s and a greenish blue eye color. She was smiling but looking just as nervous as Jake.
“Hi!” Addi greeted her, “It’s so nice to finally meet you, come on in.”
“Hi” Meg replied, her smile growing, “It’s nice to meet you too, Addi.” She walked into the room and paused, looking unsure how to proceed.
“Hey, Meg.” Jake said, smiling softly. Addi could tell he was fighting hard to keep his emotions in check. She knew all of his tells. “It’s really good to meet you…in person. Thank you so much for coming.”
“It’s good to meet you too, Jake.” She smiled. Looking closer Addi noticed they had the same dimples when they smiled. Must be an inherited trait on the maternal side. “Nothing could keep me from coming to meet you. I can’t imagine what it was like to just find this all out now as an adult. I’m not going to lie… I was really excited to find out there were some first cousins out there to be found. My mom and Auntie Lynn were it for kids on their side.”
“All my life I was surrounded by family.” Jake said, “I’ve got two sisters and about a million cousins… but none of them looked anything like me. Most of them all had dark hair and brown eyes or lighter brown hair and blue eyes. Looking at you, it’s kinda nice to not be the odd one out anymore.”
“My sister Carrie has blonde hair and green eyes.” Meg said, “Blake ended up with brown hair and gray eyes. I promise, Jake, if and when you’re ready to meet more of us… you’ll blend right in. Can I hug you?”
“Yeah…” He replied, his voice cracking from rising emotions. He cleared his throat and tried again, “Yeah, of course.”
Meg stepped over to him and wrapped her arms around his middle. Jake returned the hug, his own arms wrapping around Meg’s shoulders. They just stood there for a moment before stepping back. Both had tears in their eyes. Addi had to wipe away her own tears watching the interaction.
“Do you want to attempt the bar downstairs, or do you want me to go grab some drinks from the little lobby store and come back up?” Addi asked.
“We can try the bar if y’all want.” Jake said. “Hell, maybe word will get out that someone that looks just like Tyler will get out and it’ll help us?”
“I didn’t even think about that.” Meg smiled, “Has anyone approached you?”
“Twice.” Addi laughed, “One was really cute though, it was a little boy. But he was getting a lot of double takes and stares as we walked back from the restaurant.”
“Well I do have some ideas on that front… but it’s a little risky.” Meg said, “I also have some leads, but we can talk about that downstairs if you want to try it.”
“Might as well.” Jake shrugged, “Honestly, I could use a drink.”
The three of them were settled at a table with drinks a few minutes later. They tried to find a table that was tucked out of the way to avoid as much attention as possible.
“Ok, so first things first, I wanted to assure you that nobody knows where I am this week.” Meg said. “Not really. They think I’m in Oklahoma City for a work conference. I just wanted you to know.”
“Thanks, Meg.” Jake said, “I promise I won’t make you hide this forever. I just need a little more time to come to terms with things.”
“Take as much time as you need.” She said, “Really. I can’t promise that my siblings won’t eventually log in and pay attention to any matches on the DNA site… or that my mom won’t… but it won’t come from me.”
“I was wondering about that.” He replied.
“My mom doesn’t know how to navigate the full site… she’s kind of depending on us kids I think.” Meg explained, “My siblings are just busy with their lives… they’re older and have families of their own. I’m still single so it kinda makes sense that I’m the only one that’s taken the time to look.”
“You said you found leads and had some ideas?” Addi asked, “I keep checking Instagram in hopes Lilly will see the message but I’m thinking it’s a dead account.”
“I think the one that is most active in keeping up on their socials is Boone.” Meg said, “He does most of the videos and posts everything. We might be able to make contact through him. I think we need to start at the hospital tomorrow morning to see if there is anything they can give you. Then maybe go to the Courthouse for birth records. I don’t know if that will be a deadend though because if it was a closed adoption your birth record might be in those sealed records. You have a new birth certificate given at adoption so your original, if one was issued will be sealed or nullified.”
“Do you know how to reach out to this Boone guy?” Addi asked, “And the hospital seems like a logical place to start for sure, if they’ll give him anything since it was a closed adoption. I would assume though since it’s his birth information and he’s looking for his twin brother that they might have something?”
“Maybe.” Meg said, “I don’t know for sure, I just figured it was a starting point. As for Boone, we can try leaving a comment on videos, or try to see if he has any personal social media….”
“Or you said there was an idea you had that was risky.” Jake said, “What idea is that?”
“Well…” Meg said, “You’re in Oklahoma, and like I said the weather has been really crappy. I’m sure you’ve heard of all the tornadoes hitting lately… meaning the Tornado Wranglers are most definitely in the state and honestly probably not too far away. We could… chase the chasers.”
“Shit… that means purposely driving towards an area we know is going to potentially be hit by a tornado.” Addi siad, “Willingly…”
“Yeah… that’s what makes it risky.” Meg replied, “One of my friends heard that they kinda made an unofficial home base at the new girl’s family farm up in Sapulpa. It’s roughly 2 hours from here. If you wanted to try that first to see if that gets anywhere… someone there might at least know how to contact them.”
“Let’s start at the hospital first thing in the morning…”Jake said, “Then, depending on what we get from that, we can come up with a plan on what’s next. Maybe look at the weather for the state and see what’s happening. We grew up in tornado alley too… would rather not go looking for them, but I need to find my twin.”
“Jake, we’ve faced scarier things.” Addi said, “I think we can handle it. We have launched jets off of carriers in the middle of the ocean and we pull G’s on a daily basis. We literally flew a suicide mission this past year…we’re adrenaline junkies.”
“I’m just going to go ahead and not share that with the family if and when the time comes you let me tell them of your existence.” Meg laughed.
“Tyler drives into tornadoes and launches fireworks into them.” Jake laughed, “It would appear there might be something to the whole twin connection thing, huh?”
“It would seem so.” Addi agreed. “Operation find Tyler is in full effect.”
Her phone started to ring with a FaceTime call. She looked at it and showed it to Jake. It was Bradley.
“I have to take this.” She said, “I’ll be right back.”
She hit accept and got up to go find a quiet spot.
“Hey Roo,” She answered, “What’s up?”
“Hey, Addi.” He smiled. “I didn’t want to interrupt Jake in case he was with his cousin but figured you’d be able to slip away to talk. Fanboy was watching the newest Tornado Wrangler video while we were at the bar and it showed in a town southwest of Oklahoma City. Chickasha I think it was? The video is only a few hours old. The actual storm footage was from a different area… it just might be where they’re staying until the next storm?”
“That’s amazing, Roo!” Addi said, “We were going to get up in the morning and try hospital records first but if we have a location on Tyler we might want to try that first. We’ve struck out finding a way to contact any of them through social media. They must either get a ton of messages or just have everything on lockdown. So our only other option was to go chasing tornadoes in hopes to find the others who are chasing tornadoes.”
“That just seems like a bad idea.” Bradley said. “I mean, I know we have a dangerous job and all… but to purposely go into a tornado? I get that your call sign is Storm and everything but that doesn’t mean you have to take it literally.”
“I mean I did land my f-18 flawlessly in the middle of a damn tropical storm…and the carrier wasn’t exactly staying still.” She pointed out. “The pilot behind me got renamed Crash because he did not land flawlessly.”
“Just be careful.” He said, a huge smile breaking across his face, “I kinda think I’d like to potentially have you as a possible sister in law someday…”
“BRADLEY BRADSHAW!” You exclaimed, excitedly, making him laugh “You’re totally falling in love with Ava! We are so talking about this when we get back. I wanna know everything! Actually not everything because…ewww. But you know what I mean.”
“Just be safe and come back in one piece and I will tell you anything you want to know.” he promised, “Also, if you haven’t already talked to her, Ava is planning on coming at the end of the month. She’s going to take a week of vacation time.”
“I haven’t talked to her but I will be calling her tonight.” Addi laughed, “Can’t wait. I’m going to go let Jake and Meg know where Tyler is and make plans. We’ll see you when we get back but I’ll call and check in.”
“You better.” He said, “Javy said to tell Jake he better check in regularly as well.”
“I’ll tell him” Addi replied smiling, “Tell everyone we said, ‘hi’. Have fun, Roo.”
“Good Luck.” Bradey said. “Talk soon.”
Addi went back into the bar, excited to tell Jake and Meg about what Bradley and Fanboy had found.
“Everything ok?” Jake asked, when she slid into the booth next to him.
“Yup!” She said, beaming, “Fanboy was watching a Tornado Wrangler video that just got posted while they were out at the Hard Deck and they were able to figure out that they’re in a town called Chickasha.”
“That’s about 2 hours south of here.” Meg said.
“I feel like we’re going to just keep being one step behind if we go off the videos.” Jake said, “Who knows if they’re still there… no idea if they post in real time or if they wait.”
“From what I can tell it’s pretty close to real time.” Meg said. “Or as close to it as they can get. Obviously they do a little editing after filming and have to not be in the middle of the tornado anymore… but I think it’s within a few hours usually.”
“Let’s look at the weather and see what areas are supposed to get bad weather tomorrow.. It might help direct us where to go.” Addi suggested, “It might be a better bet just to get up early and head straight down to Chickasha. If nothing else, we can always come back up here to the hospital another day.”
“My main goal is finding my twin…so might as well chase him, right?” Jake chuckled. “I guess we’re going tornado hunting.”
“Alright. We’re going to need to be up early and hit the road.” Addi said.
“Sounds good.” Meg said, smiling. “I’m used to getting up early for work anyway so no big deal.”
“Us too.” Jake laughed.
A/N: Thoughts???? Jake KNOWS he has a twin now and has figured out who it is! Time to go find him!!! Do you think Tyler knows??

My thoughts and theories about Caine
I will be doing a theory about each character and each episode (with some details of future episodes added in) every week. I was going to do every day, but things have changed as of recently. I orginally wanted to post this on Sunday, but I did not have the time and since then work has been havoc. I was lucky today as my co-workers and I left early thanks to a mild issue with electricity.
I have many thoughts about each character and their episodes, but they do have other tidbits and stuff scattered everywhere, so I will be going over each episode individually about each character. They will be given five weeks in total. One week for each episode. Do know that for minor characters, like Bubble, will be given one minor theory as we do not know much about them yet.
P.S. I do not have any more screenshots added than the picture I took since I worked on this theory at my job. Sorry! I will update this with timestamps at the end of each paragraph in the morning my time. Bear with me, please!
Episode One: Pilot
I have never trusted Caine since the beginning of the show. While he may be AI, he seems to be sentient enough to know that humans can enter the realm of the digital world, VIA the headset. He has control of the world and what they can say as he censors the words Pomni says and can fix them if they glitch, summon them on a whim as we see later on in the series, and CAN alter their mindsets in the most recent episode.
I feel like Caine was subtly threatening Pomni when he dragged her out to “The Void,” because not only does he get up close and bigger, but following up the “Not even I know what’s out there” he doesn’t give her time to question before he is saying, “We stay right here! Where I can keep my hundreds of all-seeing eyes on you!”
And the door Pomni sees right after the moon tries to be frisky with Caine- (we’ll get back to that at a later date-) he doesn’t give Pomni time to question him almost as if he knows what she saw before they teleport back inside the tent. Almost as if he’s trying to keep her away from it entirely.
Not to mention how he downplays her seeing the exit door as something as a “digital hallucination” before becoming antsy, because if there wasn’t any exit why would you drum your fingers in a frantic way while looking off into the distance?
I’d also like to point out that we never see this exit again in the later episodes…why? Where did it go? Did Caine do something? What is beyond the void that Caine doesn’t want them to see? I think this showman is involved in some way, shape, or form with not only the door, but with the abstraction of Kaufmo.
While, yes, Kaufmo went insane from learning of the exit..I feel like Caine played a BIG hand in it. It was clear with Pomni that he knew something and wasn’t telling, but what about Kaufmo? If he knew about the exit door did he go to Caine about it and ask questions? Did any of the other ones that were previously abstracted see the same thing and THAT'S why they were abstracted? Caine is in control of the AI and the code in the game, surely he must know what’s beyond it. Also, the cellar? Why hasn’t he done anything with the others? Why is he keeping them trapped? Do they know something about that exit that he can’t risk others knowing about, if they even know about it?
Why else would Kaufmo have him running from Caine on his wall?

Also, why is it that when Pomni is looking for Caine, the exit door appears? Did it summon out of random or was it intentional? I think it was intentional. Caine wasn’t angry or even concerned about Pomni. He didn’t even say anything and just continued on. Pomni even gave him a look of distrust, what did she see that made her look at him like that?
While he may say there wasn’t anything beyond the Void or the exit besides the white empty space. It doesn’t feel right. Pomni obviously saw something while she was there and his antsy behavior doesn’t feel right either when she tries to question him on it. To the downplays and the “avoiding it entirely” behavior, there is clearly something beyond it.
But what do you guys think? Do you think Caine is lying about the exit or is this a far reach?

Co-pilot is nothing compared to tabine
I only use AI to code bcs I study product design and our projects are too fast paced for me to create an entire prototype with backend from scratch.
I am learning how to do backend though but for now it's cool

My Original Characters!
Greetings dear Overwatch community! I came here to show you my OC’s Each one with a amazing story on its own! Soon I will be posting stories related to them ^^
Aquahime
Meet Aquahime (Real name Azura, given by Doctor Sen) she goes by She/It. She’s 6’0. Her backstory is quite difficult, she acquired life (Awoke) after the awakening, Vishkar Co. was building a machine that could protect and assist humans and omnics perfectly, but instead created life that could use gravitational energy to attract water and harm others, with help of a suspicious alliance they took AZ-700 to a secret lab where she passed nearly a year of abuse. After meeting Doctor Sen and he giving her a name. Things turned 360 and she ended attacking him due something that happened. Not long after that she manage to escape, once out there she become aware of her water healing “powers”, that’s how she calls them. She’s currently on Nepal.
Canyon Rockie
Amadiz Velazquez, more known as The Canyon Rockie, is an omnic who worked as a comercial pilot once and now is the best Talon Pilot on their lines, also a meanie and a good tyrant when it comes to interrogation. He’s Mexican, specifically from Mexico City, and is 5’7 feet tall. (Also, don’t tell anyone but he’s in love with his boss….) When he awoke, he almost lost his head, but found fascination with the units that humans controlled, which were flying around… In his words, they were “amazing”. That made them want to control something like that. Once the crisis regulated, they were adopted into a family that they assisted during the war. The family supported Amadiz to become a comercial pilot, even if they noticed that everyone in their surroundings didn’t like the idea of an "Evil AI taking control”. Amadiz managed to become a professional pilot. Even his profesor had to admit he had a good run, but in his envy the professor decided to ruin his star career by meddling and manipulating a plane Amadiz would use, killing 67 people. Amadiz lost their career and went to prison, but later on their innocence was reveal. However, it was too late. No one wanted to work with him… So they turned to Talon for help. They are currently in Rome, Italy.
Hierbalia
Hierbalia is a ON288 model, similar to the Ravanger model but they are least common. Their real name is Dahlia Olivares, Their height is 5’7 and their pronouns are They/Them. They are from Puebla, Mexico. They know and had a deep bond with Dr. Marlee but now they are conflicted with feelings over him.
Hierbalia was once a Scientist at Natura Co. (which in here is a biotechnology and bio experimental corporation.) which had a nice reputation among the city of Cuetzalan, they even cultivated veggies and fruit for everyone, however things changed when they meet Saphica Lizz, a Spain omnic singer who caught their attention, fortunately the singer was intrigued with them as well, they fell in love and after a couple years of happiness, things changed when a Talon sniper assassinated Saphica and the police began chasing Hierbalia for murder charges. In a attempt to seek the truth Hierbalia began working as a sicario for a time, until they had to save their city from Talon, and face and old friend who was under their control, and face a terrible truth, now both are looking for Overwatch to seek the well being of Puebla and answers of their own.
They are currently on Dorado, Mexico.
Moonshard
Marlee Taylor is an Australian who escaped their country, and came to Puebla to become the Head Scientist in Natura Co. Uses He/She pronouns, 5’11 of height. Going by MoonShard as their code name. Fell deeply in love with Hierbalia.
Marlee was never one of the Junkers, in fact she hated being associated with them, but meeting a younger Mako and befriending them made things easier for him, and was finally able to escape Australia, and learn more about it's old roots, the most difficult part was adapting to omnics, but once Dahlia Olivares arrived to the Natura Co. team she fell in love with them, when they found out they didn't share feelings, Talon saw avadtage to eliminate a suspect of leaking important documents, Saphica Lizz, and who better than Marlee to do the dirty work. After years of cover up and hiding Hierbalia the truth, everything came up, and now both seek Overwatch to destroy Talon, and maybe... to recieve Dahlia's forgiveness.
This are my current Overwatch OC! I will be posting their full Origin Story soon, hope you like em!

Do you ever have ocs who start in one fandom, then you adapt them to another- or make them their own being completely independent of the original fandom
Definitely! I got a couple of them, actually, but none of whom I've ever posted to this blog bc I stopped enjoying their original fandoms awhile back:
Wang Meigei (they/he/she) - originally a Persona/SMT character who was low-key a ripoff of Akechi, but from a more anonymous investigator angle wherein they operated a double life as the very cisgender K-Pop idol, Rosette, and the genderfluid online investigator, Thorn. A little bit on the nose, ik, but I still love them for it. They made a hop over to Danganronpa, when I got into that fandom for like a year, as the Ultimate Anon Private Investigator masquerading as the Ultimate Pop Idol. Nowadays, they just exist in my head as an OC with their own original setting! They now live in a futuristic world, roughly a century or so ahead of us, in which global disasters have pushed many surface dwellers on Earth to move to the ultracapitalist dystopia that is Samsara Station, a space station the size of a large city and operating with a population of over 5 million. Meigei in that setting spent a few years of their life on Samsara Station as an idol, but after the tragic death of their lesbian-coded best friend/almost girlfriend and co-singer of the band 6NE, Joo Aeng-ha, they made a sudden decision to move back to Earth and reconnect with their family, all the while uncovering some scandalous secrets about the music industry with the help of their friends, old and new. Their story would expose the predatory practices of the industry, including the unethical practice of using AI to cover up celebrity deaths and maintain the status quo (since that's a Thing™️ in that dystopia). It's very Jem and the Holograms but crime noir. Alas, unlike my main project, this has been on the backburner for a couple years now, especially since it's all vague ideas but no real plot to kick it off. Here's some pretty old art of them (excuse the old signature :P I promise I'm the same artist):
Lin An | Hayashi Yasu (they/he) - Originally a Danganronpa OC! They were the Ultimate Historical Crime Novelist, but that was just a guise for their true career of being a hitman for a yakuza family they got adopted into after that family killed his own family, who were also yakuza... Yeah, you see the pattern with my obsession with true crime LMFAO. Anyways, they've moved on to the same original setting as Meigei, but this time, their birth family lives on. Still involved in crime as a triad group on Samsara Station with ties to triads on the surface, but Lin An has been relatively kept away from the family business for the most part until very recently. There are a few differences from their original self, namely they aren't nearly as beefy and they are now a mech pilot for a popular competitive sport (it's like LARPing but with more puzzles and timed challenges? ie the teams are deployed in a simulated city with a certain number of weapons, tools, and mechs available that they have to coordinate and race each other for, all leading up to a battle royale). Anyways, Lin An is a supporting character and a love interest for Meigei, using their family connections to help Meigei expose industry secrets. Have some even older art of them from like 2021:
Anyways, thanks for the ask!! Damn, I nearly forgot about these two....
#ask#oc art#oc: wang meigei#oc: lin an#oh man my old art is CRUNCHY af eugh#i may be a little more than buzzed andwering this since I just had a whole bottle of nigori but fuck it we ball

is it just me or i can never find the answers to my vsode problems on stackoverflow or anywhere for that matter 😭
what will i do when i'm making a project of my own that hasn't already been made by an instructor/the person who made the course i'm doing... im going to dieeeeee.
i "solved" a problem by looking at THEIR css code, copy and pasted different parts to see which one i was doing wrong but i wouldn't have found out if it wasn't for me doing that. i feel like im cheating and that theres no point in me learning how to be a developer
Hiya!
Literally, this is where AI comes in. I use ChatGPT, Bard/Gemini and sometimes Co-pilot (GitHub) for my code - but it's not the only resource I use to learn/help when I get stuck. Huge advantage to know most of what you're doing and have the AI just assist you, I wouldn't recommend a complete beginner using AI 100% and relying on the AI to do everything.
I had someone message me on here saying that they're going to build a whole game using AI to get the code. When I asked them if they ever coded beforehand, they said no but they don't "need" to because "that's what the AI is there for"... bro... like no? I am always for AI to assist you in your code, but not for it to do a whole project for you.
For your situation though, you know how to code but just getting stuck in some areas. What I would recommend is explaining to the AI platform you use what you're trying to code and ask for it to help you. E.g. I recently was stuck on learning how to get the current screen size of the webpage. I knew what I needed for the result but in the middle part I was stuck, so I copied my current code went to Bard and was like "I'm stuck: [paste code] I am trying to do this and that but it's not working" and it will give me the correct code. The best part is, it explains the code so I can even save that in my notes or as comments in my code.
I make sure I am learning so I don't make the same mistakes letter. That's key 🔑
Hope this helps~! 🖤

Software Innovation versus returns? How Copods has solved the puzzle with its unique approach to future-proofing businesses
Copods, founded in 2017, believes it has cracked the code for effective human-computer interaction by building on the idea that the right way forward is a meaningful mindshare of multidisciplinary teams, fostering innovative software design and engineering.

Artificial Intelligence is rewiring the way we visualise customer interactions across sectors. But there’s a lot more to effectively leveraging this technology in your business than a simple plug-and-play option. Think of Jarvis from Iron Man…the legendary AI character who is not only a superhero’s trusty sidekick but also has the sass and personality that appeals to Tony Stark.
While AI systems of the real world are far from achieving this level of autonomy or intelligence to be personally attuned to the ‘human’ style, there are innovations that significantly enhance how a business operates and communicates with its customers. These innovations aim to bring us closer to the dream of having our own "Jarvis" for business needs.
One of these is Copods, a trailblazing services company that is transforming IT solutions with its innovative 'collaborative pods' approach to software design and engineering. Hence, the name 'Copods'.
In a conversation with YourStory, Co-founder and CDO Anish Bhuwania says that the idea was to create a “human co-pilot delivering digital experiences that drive results.”
“Software products are often over-engineered or over-designed, resulting in feasibility, viability, and desirability issues with an untapped opportunity to leverage collective intelligence. We saw the need for a more strategic and collaborative approach, leading to the development of our unique pod-based framework,” he explains.
Founded in 2017 by Anish Bhuwania, Sumin Shah, and Kamlesh Munot, Copods is focusing on creating transformative experiences. “We focus on the critical 40% that drives 100% business success, ensuring our efforts create meaningful and lasting impact,” says Bhuwania.
Copods "one-team" philosophy and “pod” structure bring together diverse expertise to drive innovation and ensure practical, relevant solutions. It doesn’t just deploy advanced technology; it bridges the gap between tech and human needs, creating solutions that resonate on a human level.
The early days
Today, Copods is a comprehensive digital solutions provider, specialising in research, design, engineering, branding, and marketing. It leverages emerging technologies like AI/ML, IoT, and advanced data analytics to deliver solutions across various domains such as cybersecurity, data and analytics, supply chain and industrial automation, ecommerce, healthcare, BFSI, and many more.
However, like most companies, Copods did not find overnight success. It has been a seven-year journey, growing from just three founders to a formidable team of 60+ people.
“We set out to transform how people interact with digital products on one side, and how software companies work with services companies on the other. As hands-on founders, we focused on the art and science of delivering value-by-doing. We leveraged our network and secured our first client within a few weeks of inception—a pivotal moment that validated our business model and demonstrated the demand for our services and approach. This early success laid the groundwork for future growth,” Bhuwania says.
Recognising the evolving needs of clients, Copods soon expanded its service portfolio to include software experience engineering as a service. This diversification helped attract a broader client base and nurture deeper relationships with existing clients.
For a company so attuned to customers' needs and requirements, managing limited resources in the early days while striving for rapid growth demanded meticulous planning and prioritisation. “There needs to be a fine balance between short-term needs and long-term goals,” Bhuwania says.
True impact
Traditional, siloed and hierarchical approaches often stifle innovation and efficiency. Copods has solved some of the world’s toughest challenges where traditional methods have failed.
For instance, a major North American retail chain struggled with inventory management and customer loyalty due to outdated, fragmented methods, leading to overstocking, stock-outs, and wastage, impacting ROI.
Copods introduced a smart, data-driven tool that analysed historical inventory data and real-time AI-driven in-store experiences. This created a Single Point of Governance (SPOG) with actionable insights, resulting in increased sales, customer footfall, loyalty, and a 72% reduction in perishable product wastage.
A product manager at one of the Big 5 management consulting firms, said Copods helped rethink their product structure, improving user experience and supporting business goals. The VP, Head of Design at a leading fintech company, shared that it never felt like Copods was an external team—it took full ownership of projects, went the extra mile to earn trust, and really understood the target customers.
The tangible results delivered for clients validate the company’s strategic approach. Significant returns on investment and glowing testimonials highlight the profound impact of its solutions.
Copods’ journey has been characterised by domain expertise. “Our teams, comprised of specialists from various fields, tackle complex challenges with unwavering confidence, reflecting our commitment to excellence. This allows us to deliver desirable, viable, and feasible solutions that drive client success,” Bhuwania says.
Looking ahead
As Copods scales new heights, its commitment to the founding principles of collaboration, innovation, and trust only grows stronger. This unwavering dedication forms the foundation of its ambitious vision for the future.
“We've set a high bar, targeting a 95% client satisfaction rate and recognition for exceptional service. To achieve this, we're forging strategic partnerships with leading technology companies, academic institutions, and industry bodies. These collaborations not only keep us at the cutting edge of technology but also expand our influence within the industry,” Bhuwania says.
So could Copods be our real-world ‘Jarvis’? Perhaps, it can be even better than that!

I was just having a conversation w/ my partner re: the uselessness of gen ai for daily tasks.
I could use google’s ai to search the internet for me but then I would spend twice as long verifying the sources/credibility of the answer.
I could have ChatGPT write me an email but typing out the prompt would take just as long, let alone any editing and/or copy/pasting that needs to be done.
I could use Co-pilot to summarize an article or study for me but they are LLM’s and incapable of analysis (and therefore incapable of understanding the relation of one argument/point to another); I would have to fact check the summary by…reading the article in the first place. Also, the abstract and conclusion exists for a reason!
Generate me a citation? The information I would have to provide takes longer to compile than just typing it out myself.
If you are a standard person with basic highschool-level communication/analytical skills, it doesn’t really add anything to your life. This feels like when QR codes were being adopted everywhere as a technological advancement, when really, they were only applicable in select cases.
I think we have yet to hit the height of this adoption bell-curve but when we do, the drop will be steep.
those ads for ai integration on phones are so funny bc it seems like they cant. come up with that many use cases that arent already on a phone? "ask gemini to give you recipes when youre cooking!" "use our AI assistant to find the perfect gift for your girlfriend" yeah or i could just like. google it. you've spent millions on a slightly fancier version of an alexa. good job man.

Human-AI Collaboration: The Future of Work with Generative AI Assistants
For a while, the conversation around Artificial Intelligence (AI) felt dominated by a single, often fearful, question: "Will AI take my job?" While automation continues to reshape certain tasks, as we navigate mid-2025, a much more exciting and realistic picture is emerging: Human-AI Collaboration.
This isn't about AI replacing us entirely. It's about AI becoming our most powerful co-pilot, a super-smart assistant that works with us, amplifying our abilities and transforming how we approach work. Think of it less as a threat and more like the calculator was for mathematicians, or word processing for writers – a tool that frees us to focus on higher-level thinking.
What is Human-AI Collaboration? (Simply Explained)
At its heart, Human-AI Collaboration is exactly what it sounds like: humans and AI working together, leveraging each other's unique strengths to achieve outcomes far superior to what either could accomplish alone.
Humans excel at: Creativity, critical thinking, empathy, ethical judgment, strategic planning, complex problem-solving, and understanding nuanced human context.
AI excels at: Speed, processing vast amounts of data, recognizing patterns, automating repetitive tasks, generating content quickly, and performing complex calculations.
When these strengths combine, magic happens.
Generative AI: Your New Co-Worker Across Professions
Generative AI (Gen AI) models like ChatGPT, Gemini, and various image and code generators are not just answering questions; they're creating. This makes them ideal partners across almost every profession:
For Writers & Marketers: Gen AI can churn out first drafts of articles, brainstorm countless ideas for campaigns, personalize marketing messages for different audiences, or summarize lengthy research papers, freeing the human to refine, strategize, and add unique voice.
For Developers: From writing boilerplate code snippets and suggesting debugging solutions, to generating unit tests and explaining complex legacy code, AI assistants are becoming indispensable coding partners, boosting productivity significantly.
For Designers: AI can rapidly generate multiple design concepts, create variations of images, suggest color palettes, or even fill in missing parts of an image, allowing designers to iterate faster and focus on the creative vision.
For Customer Service: AI-powered chatbots handle routine queries instantly, while more advanced AI assistants provide human agents with quick, accurate information, draft responses, and even analyze customer sentiment, allowing agents to focus on complex or emotionally charged interactions.
For Business Analysts & Consultants: AI can rapidly analyze massive datasets, identify hidden trends, generate comprehensive reports, and summarize market research, enabling human experts to focus on interpreting insights, devising strategies, and advising clients.
For Educators & Students: AI can help generate personalized learning materials, summarize research articles, or assist in drafting essays (with proper ethical oversight), enhancing both teaching and learning processes.
The Powerful Benefits of This Partnership

Tesla Brings Retro-Futuristic Diner to Manila

Tesla Brings Retro-Futuristic Diner to Manila: Where Charging Stations Meet Karaoke and Monsoon Season
Published at ManilaNews.ph “Manila has finally achieved its full transformation into a techno-dystopian karaoke buffet—thanks to Elon Musk.” Manila, Philippines — In a move no one saw coming but absolutely no one is surprised by, Tesla has announced the opening of its second international Retro-Futuristic Supercharger Diner, this time in the vibrant, traffic-choked, karaoke-obsessed capital of Southeast Asia. While the Hollywood location featured chrome stools and burgers in Cybertruck boxes, the Manila branch will feature karaoke-powered charging, robo-waiters that can count change in pesos, and adobo-flavored milkshakes. Welcome to TESLA DINER: METRO MANILA EDITION, where Elon’s electric dreams go head-to-head with floodwaters, fried tilapia, and influencers live-streaming their pancit from the comfort of a Model Y with a dead battery.
How the Deal Was Signed: Bribery, Basketball, and a Jollibee Mascot in Disguise
Sources say Elon Musk was first drawn to Manila after seeing a TikTok of a jeepney with LED underlights, 12 speakers, and a “Musk is my Co-Pilot” bumper sticker blasting K-pop in Cubao. According to insiders at the Department of Trade and Industry, the project was greenlit after the following events: Musk was challenged to a half-court shootout by Senator Manny Pacquiao, and lost badly. A Department of Tourism official said, “Elon, just build it near a mall. Any mall. We have like, 800.” A mysterious man dressed as the Jollibee mascot slipped Elon a handwritten note reading: ‘Build it in BGC. Trust me. – JB.’ Elon asked, “Will there be halo-halo?” and received 743 simultaneous yeses from a studio audience that didn’t exist.
The Location: Bonifacio Global City (Where Else?)
Construction has begun in Bonifacio Global City, the only part of Metro Manila where sidewalks work, people pretend to cross at crosswalks, and it’s completely legal to wear a cardigan in July. The Tesla Diner will sit across from a mall, a high-rise gym, two artisanal dog cafés, and a construction site that’s been abandoned since 2014. Its immediate neighbors will include: A coworking space named “ThinkKubo” A “bespoke lechon fusion lounge” And an over-priced laundromat that serves almond milk lattes Because of zoning confusion, the diner’s charging bays will also double as temporary parking for wedding photographers, Grab drivers, and one guy selling pirated USBs full of K-drama.
What’s Inside the Manila Tesla Diner?
Tesla has promised a localized design, meaning: chrome floors, palm trees with solar panels, and a disco ball made entirely of confiscated vape pens. New features include: 85 Superchargers that automatically deactivate during brownouts and Tita prayer circles Robot waiters programmed to say “Kain na po tayo” before electrocuting themselves in ankle-deep flood water A “Skypad Lounge” where influencers sip calamansi spritzers and pretend the MRT never existed A holographic Jose Rizal who recites national history while dancing to Daft Punk And of course, a 24/7 Karaoke Arena called Charge & Sing
The Menu: Adobo, Spam, and Soy Sauce–Infused Silicon Dreams
Say goodbye to bland Cyberburgers. Say hello to TESLA TAPSILOG and Electric Sisig Supreme. Some menu highlights: The Neuralnuggets – Deep-fried AI-generated chicken thoughts Elon’s Lumpia Lab – Where every roll has a QR code and an inspirational tweet inside Battery Barbecue Bowl – Pork in mango glaze, served on a charging pad The “Woke Waffle” – Ube-infused, emotionally intelligent, gluten-defiant Sinigang 3.0 – A sour soup that monitors your pH level via steam interface The Electric Halo-Halo – Powered by a Tesla coil that lightly toasts the leche flan Drinks include the Boba Musk, the Model Tea, and the “Anti-Traffic Smoothie” (made from broken dreams and guava).
Service Bots With Filipino Hospitality (and Existential Guilt)
Meet BOT-BOT, the Manila-exclusive robotic waiter who bows, serves water unprompted, and apologizes for things beyond his control—like your breakup and the state of the MRT. BOT-BOT is fluent in: English Taglish Passive-aggressive sighs He ends every delivery with: “Here’s your adobo, po. Sorry for the wait. Sorry for traffic. Sorry for everything.” He also sings karaoke duets with customers on request. His go-to song: “Bakit Pa?” by Jessa Zaragoza
Customer Reviews Are Already Pouring In
Marlon, 38, Grab Driver: “I charged my Tesla AND got kare-kare in a Cybertruck box. 5 stars, but I still got a parking ticket.” Lyn, 24, Content Creator: “OMG you guys it’s soooo aesthetic, even the ketchup says ‘powered by gratitude.’ I’m crying.” Mang Bert, 61, MMDA Officer: “The robot tried to give me change in Dogecoin. I confiscated it. He now works traffic at EDSA.”
Karaoke Charging: The Feature No One Asked For, But We All Deserve
In Manila, charging a car is not a passive experience. It is now a musical journey. Each charging bay comes with: A microphone A preloaded karaoke playlist A sliding tip jar (digital and literal) Auto-scoring powered by facial recognition and heartache detection Songs include: “Forevermore” – Side A “Buwan” – Juan Karlos “My Heart Will Go On” – Tesla’s required firmware update theme And “Bohemian Rhapsody,” but only if your battery is below 10%
Tesla’s New Marketing Campaign: “Kuryente at Kanta”
To appeal to the masses, Tesla has rebranded with new slogans across Metro Manila: “Eat, Pray, Charge” “From EDSA to the Future” “Now You Can Be Late for Work AND Fully Charged” “Kuryente Mo, Kusina Namin” “Walang Plug? Walang Pag-Ibig.” “#BastaTeslaLabanLang”
Environmental Concerns Prompt Street Baptism of Superchargers
Local environmentalists held a cleansing ritual outside the diner using organic calamansi and holy water from Taytay. Father Julius, a techno-skeptical priest, led the prayer: “We bless these machines. May they never short-circuit near our fishballs. Amen.” Meanwhile, three tricycle drivers formed a coalition called “Traysikel Laban Tesla (TLT)”, demanding that Elon invest in “solar sidecars” before building more burger bots.
Coming Soon: Events & Contests
Tesla Manila has a full calendar of themed events, including: “Watt & Wild Wednesdays” – Free fries for anyone wearing cosplay as a battery “Silog Sunday Sermons” – Pastor, pancakes, and power cells “Miss Charging Station Philippines” – Beauty pageant for the best-dressed robot servers “Adobo Coding Bootcamp” – Learn Python while marinating pork “Flood Simulation Fiesta” – Everyone wears slippers and eats while knee-deep in water, just like home
What the Funny People Are Saying
“Finally, a place where you can be emotionally unavailable, fully charged, and drenched in vinegar all at once.” — Sarah Silverman “The adobo burger gave me closure.” — Jerry Seinfeld “BOT-BOT is the only robot who has ever apologized for not remembering my birthday.” — Ron White “I cried while eating sisig with my car. This is how Filipinos heal.” — Amy Schumer
Is It a Restaurant? A Power Plant? A Cult? Yes.
No one’s entirely sure what the Tesla Diner in Manila actually is. It’s part restaurant, part Supercharger depot, part performance art, and part therapy. You go in needing electricity. You come out emotionally drained, socially recharged, and holding a napkin that says: “We hope you enjoyed your food. You are loved. Please plug responsibly.”
Final Verdict: Only in the Philippines
In a country where: You can order ice cream on top of spaghetti Your boss lets you off work early for a pageant And karaoke fights occasionally make the news …it’s only fitting that Tesla’s most absurd creation ends up nestled between a FamilyMart and an abandoned overpass. So come one, come all. Bring your car. Bring your heartache. Bring your Tita who sings My Way like it’s a courtroom defense. Because here in Manila, even your Tesla deserves to eat.
Disclaimer
This is a work of satire, written by two fully human collaborators—the world’s oldest tenured professor and a philosophy major turned dairy farmer. All quotes, events, and robots mentioned are fictitious (for now). BOT-BOT cannot currently sing Bakit Pa, but he’s working on it. Auf Wiedersehen.

I don't really think they're like, as useful as people say, but there are genuine usecases I feel -- just not for the massive, public facing, plagiarism machine garbage fire ones. I don't work in enterprise, I work in game dev, so this goes off of what I have been told, but -- take a company like Oracle, for instance. Massive databases, massive codebases. People I know who work there have told me that their internally trained LLM is really good at parsing plain language questions about, say, where a function is, where a bit oif data is, etc., and outputing a legible answer. Yes, search machines can do this too, but if you've worked on massive datasets -- well, conventional search methods tend to perform rather poorly.
From people I know at Microsoft, there's an internal-use version of co-pilot weighted to favor internal MS answers that still will hallucinate, but it is also really good at explaining and parsing out code that has even the slightest of documentation, and can be good at reimplementing functions, or knowing where to call them, etc. I don't necessarily think this use of LLMs is great, but it *allegedly* works and I'm inclined to trust programmers on this subject (who are largely AI critical, at least wrt chatGPT and Midjourney etc), over "tech bros" who haven't programmed in years and are just execs.
I will say one thing that is consistent, and that I have actually witnessed myself; most working on enterprise code seem to indicate that LLMs are really good at writing boilerplate code (which isn't hard per se, bu t extremely tedious), and also really good at writing SQL queries. Which, that last one is fair. No one wants to write SQL queries.
To be clear, this isn't a defense of the "genAI" fad by any means. chatGPT is unreliable at best, and straight up making shit up at worst. Midjourney is stealing art and producing nonsense. Voice labs are undermining the rights of voice actors. But, as a programmer at least, I find the idea of how LLMs work to be quite interesting. They really are very advanced versions of old text parsers like you'd see in old games like ZORK, but instead of being tied to a prewritten lexicon, they can actually "understand" concepts.
I use "understand" in heavy quotes, but rather than being hardcoded to relate words to commands, they can connect input written in plain english (or other languages, but I'm sure it might struggle with some sufficiently different from english given that CompSci, even tech produced out of the west, is very english-centric) to concepts within a dataset and then tell you about the concepts it found in a way that's easy to parse and understand. The reason LLMs got hijacked by like, chatbots and such, is because the answers are so human-readable that, if you squint and turn your head, it almost looks like a human is talking to you.
I think that is conceptually rather interesting tech! Ofc, non LLM Machine Learning algos are also super useful and interesting - which is why I fight back against the use of the term AI. genAI is a little bit more accurate, but I like calling things what they are. AI is such an umbrella that includes things like machine learning algos that have existed for decades, and while I don't think MOST people are against those, I see people who see like, a machine learning tool from before the LLM craze (or someone using a different machine learning tool) and getting pushback as if they are doing genAI. To be clear, thats the fault of the marketing around LLMs and the tech bros pushing them, not the general public -- they were poorly educated, but on purpose by said PR lies.
Now, LLMs I think are way more limited in scope than tech CEOs want you to believe. They aren't the future of public internet searches (just look at google), or art creation, or serious research by any means. But, they're pretty good at searching large datasets (as long as there's no contradictory info), writing boilerplate functions, and SQL queries.
Honestly, if all they did was SQL queries, that'd be enough for me to be interested fuck that shit. (a little hyperbolic/sarcastic on that last part to be clear).

AI Code Generators: The Future of Software Development
Artificial intelligence is reshaping every domain of technology—including the way we write code. AI code generators are revolutionizing how developers build applications, automating boilerplate, enhancing productivity, and reducing human error. These tools have matured rapidly, and today, they’re more than just code auto-completion systems—they're smart assistants capable of generating full functions, tests, or even entire modules.
In this article, we explore the landscape of AI-powered code generation, review best practices for their use, and examine how tools are transforming languages like Go with Go code generator AI capabilities.
What Is AI-Powered Code Generation?
AI-powered code generation refers to the use of artificial intelligence models—particularly large language models (LLMs)—to automatically generate source code. These models are trained on vast datasets comprising real-world programming problems and solutions. By understanding context and semantics, they can generate code that is both syntactically and logically sound.
From JavaScript to Python to Go, AI code generators can assist in:
Writing boilerplate code
Generating test cases
Refactoring existing code
Creating API integrations
Writing documentation
Translating between languages
How AI Code Generators Work
Modern AI code generation tools use models like OpenAI’s Codex, Meta’s Code LLaMA, or Google’s Gemini. These LLMs are trained using billions of lines of code from public repositories. By learning from existing software patterns, the AI can suggest new implementations based on developer input.
Popular interfaces include:
VSCode extensions
Command-line tools
Web-based interfaces (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
The user typically starts by typing a comment or a partial function, and the AI completes the rest.
Benefits of AI Code Generators
Faster Development: Developers can go from idea to implementation in a fraction of the time.
Error Reduction: AI often follows best practices, reducing the likelihood of common bugs.
Learning Tool: New developers can learn coding patterns from generated examples.
Consistent Code Quality: With smart formatting and conventions.
Cross-Language Flexibility: Translate code logic between different programming languages easily.
Best Practices for AI Code Generation
To ensure safe, efficient, and maintainable code, developers should follow these AI code generation best practices:
Review all AI-generated code: Never use blindly. Always inspect logic, security, and performance.
Use AI for speed, not correctness: Think of AI as a co-pilot that helps you work faster, not one that guarantees correctness.
Document everything: Generated code should still include meaningful comments and documentation.
Understand the code before committing: Don’t commit code you don’t understand. That defeats the purpose of using AI in a responsible way.
Incorporate testing early: Auto-generated code should be tested as rigorously as human-written code.
AI Code Generators for Go Developers
Go (Golang) is known for its simplicity, performance, and strong concurrency support. With rising adoption in backend systems and microservices, Go code generator AI tools are becoming popular.
These tools assist with:
Generating structs from JSON
Auto-generating gRPC or REST handlers
Writing unit tests using Go’s built-in testing package
Creating boilerplate for database connections and ORM mappings
Some open-source AI-integrated Go tools include:
AI-assisted plugins for GoLand or VSCode
Prompt-based tools using ChatGPT APIs
Serverless Go template generators
Challenges and Limitations
While powerful, AI code generators aren’t perfect:
Contextual limits: Some tools struggle to retain context over large files.
Security concerns: Code may include insecure patterns or overlook sanitization.
Bias and duplication: Generated code may mirror copyrighted examples or bad practices.
Lack of domain knowledge: AI may not understand specific business rules or edge cases.
These limitations emphasize the importance of having experienced developers in the loop to validate and refine AI outputs.
Real-World Applications
Startup MVPs: Quickly scaffold a product by using AI-generated APIs, UI, and data models.
Enterprise development: Use AI to manage code generation for large-scale microservices.
Education: Teach coding by generating examples and explaining logic.
Open-source contributions: Speed up PRs and patch writing in public repos.
Future of AI Code Generators
As LLMs improve, AI tools will evolve from writing snippets to managing entire projects, including:
Auto-generating CI/CD pipelines
Writing documentation
Suggesting architectural decisions
Creating test coverage reports
Generating infrastructure-as-code (IaC)
Eventually, developers will focus more on strategy and architecture, while AI handles implementation. But human oversight will always remain critical.
Final Thoughts
AI code generators are powerful tools that can drastically boost your productivity and coding efficiency—when used wisely. With strong community support, advancing models, and seamless IDE integrations, they're no longer optional—they’re essential. Whether you're an experienced backend developer or just learning frontend frameworks, it’s time to explore how AI-powered code generation can transform your workflow.
