Cybersecurity Tips: How to Protect Your Data and Privacy Online
Title: Stay Safe in the Digital World: Cybersecurity Basics for Everyone
Every click, every tap online leaves a trace—and protecting your digital identity is more important than ever. Cyber threats aren’t just for large companies; they target regular people too.
Start with the basics: use strong passwords with a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols. Don’t repeat them across sites, and enable 2-factor authentication whenever possible.
Avoid clicking suspicious links or downloading unknown files. Phishing emails and fake websites are common traps.
Keep your devices updated and use antivirus protection. On social media, be mindful of oversharing—especially location or personal data.
And always back up your data. One attack can wipe out your photos, documents, and memories.
Cybersecurity is not a luxury; it’s self-defense in the digital age.

friendly reminder to report minors who use tags like jailbait or predbait to cybertip services because they're actively putting themselves in danger, and especially INTENSE REMINDER TO REPORT ANYONE WHO ACTIVELY ENGAGES WITH THAT CONTENT
the shotacon and lolicon tags belong to FICTIONAL characters and real minors have NO PLACE there, and frankly are dangerous to themselves and others
i'm begging you. this is super important.

The whole truth (and an apology)
Hey guys. It's me again.
Hoo boy, where do I even begin?
So, as you guys have noticed, the blog about Kurophiliac and puppyfan9000, I'd taken down.
And I'm going to cut to the chase.
Turns out the screenshots really were faked.
Let's start at the beginning, where we got that anonymous confession in the server I'd mentioned.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Basically someone (we'll get to them in a bit) confessed about the whole "proshipper server lusting after a real minor. They had screenshots and they wanted someone to make a callout because they were too scared to do so themselves.
Wanting to make myself useful, I immediately volunteered.
And so the person (named Zex) sent the screenshots.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And once I'd received those screenshots, I made that post asking people to report both Kurophiliac and puppyfan9000. I even included a cybertip report link.
That was a stupid thing for me to do. That was a very irresponsible and dangerous thing for me to do. And that is putting it mildly.
I didn’t think about questioning the information provided, I didn’t ask Zex why they didn’t want to post the callout themselves, I didn’t even think about contacting Kurophiliac and puppyfan9000 who were allegedly involved in this "incident."
I went straight to extreme measures to take action against two people I barely knew myself without investigating further.
I took things at face value. I truly wish I hadn't.
Because, as I've said at the beginning, the screenshots really were, in fact, faked.
See, Zex had some past beef with Plato (aka Kurophiliac) and made this whole story about them being a pedo in order to frame them and ruin their reputation.
Tumblr media
When I'd made that post, they linked it and outright encouraged harassment of these two individuals. (Which is, honestly a really dick thing to do.)
Tumblr media
And the thing about them "infiltrating a proshipper server?" They were always in that server. They didn't even leave like they actually claimed to.
Tumblr media
Their introduction post in the proshipper server.
So, Zex if you're reading this right now... well, I'm speechless. I mean, going as far as to deliberately frame someone else for something so serious? It doesn't even matter whether the person you're framing is a proshipper or not, if you're framing someone as a pedophile when they've committed no such atrocity? That's sickening no matter what your excuse is.
As for Kurophiliac and puppyfan9000, if you two are reading this right now, well, I'm truly sorry.
I'm sorry I jumped straight to conclusions based off someone else's words, without questioning that person's intentions.
I'm sorry I immediately assumed the worst of you guys without being the bigger person and handling this like a rational person would.
I'm sorry I made you panic and put you two at risk of major reputation damage and legal trouble.
I'm sorry I resorted to the absolute worst possible way of "solving" the problem.
My intentions mean nothing because I ended up causing you both harm. Just because I was lied to doesn't mean I'm completely blameless in this. I should've investigated the situation before taking action. I should've seen those rather obvious red flags in those edited screenshots as well as in Zex's behavior. I shouldn't have taken the word of some random fucker on the internet.
Whether or not you guys forgive me for this is completely up to you. I understand either way. We can go our own ways and never speak to each other again if you prefer. Either way, I hope you two are doing alright, after everything.
And that goes for the rest of you guys. Have a good day/night.
Update: kurophiliac created a post elaborating on the situation with Zex.

Step-by-step: Let's report a radqueer for p*dophilia on Tumblr and CyberTip
What do you do when you encounter a radqueer that's outright saying IRL children can consent, or that they're an adult in a relationship with a child, or something similar? It's a very scary situation. In this post, I outline what to do, specifically how to report them to CyberTip.
Reporting to CyberTip is fast, easy, and you don't have to leave any form of contact information with the website.
Tutorial on each step is under the cut.
[This is a sequel post to my tutorial on how to report a radqueer for violence, so this first section is the same as that post.]
Archive The Post
When a radqueer advocates for violence, child abuse, animal abuse, abuse of a corpse or actual CSAM material, it's very important that you archive the post. Saving evidence of radqueers promoting harm is important, especially if this user later comes back after their account is removed.
(It is important to note that I am specifically saying "advocates for" as in in real life. If a radqueer coining post doesn't specify, it can be reported to Tumblr as IRL. I'm noting "IRL" here because so many people cause debate when the topic of fictional child porn comes up. Leave arguments about this off my post, we'll talk about reporting that another time.)
You have two main options for archiving:
Archive.Org
Archive.Is
I tend to use both archivers, but if you only want to use one I suggest Archive.Is. Open the main page and copy-paste the URL of the RQ post into the field. Press enter, and it will store an archived version of the post. (Sometimes this takes longer than other times, this is based on how many people are using the site at once.)
Tumblr media
If you plan to do a lot of reporting, install the Firefox extensions for Archive. Is and Archive.Org, they let you archive your current page with one click.
Tumblr media
If a page has been archived before, you get this message. If it looks like a post has been edited or there are new replies in the notes from radqueers encouraging it, I suggest archiving it again.
Now you've got your updated archived URL. Hold onto this URL.
Report Them To Tumblr First
You'll need to view the post in dashboard view if they have a custom theme. Custom theme URLS go like blogname.tumblr.com, and dashboard view is something like tumblr.com/blogname/post122121212121212121.
Tumblr media
Once in dashboard view, click the hamburger menu (the three dots), and you'll see the red option that says "Report blogname."
Tumblr media
This takes you to a basic categories menu. Select "Report something else." That takes you to a sub menu which lets you pick from the following options:
Copyright violation
Trademark violation
Harm to minors
Privacy violation
Impersonation or Non-Genuine Behavior
Suicide or self-harm concern
Hate speech violation
Suspected terrorism
Sexually explicit material
Gore, mutilation, or bestiality
Violent content or threat
I’m being harassed
Unlawful uses or content
Spam
Election Integrity
Here in our example, we're reporting pedophilia, so click "Harm to minors."
Tumblr media
Tumblr specifically says "Don't post or solicit content that features child abuse, the sexualization of minors, or the facilitation or promotion of child sexual abuse." so if the post they're making counts as this/one of the categories mentioned here, you'll click on it and then explain how it fits what you selected. However, Tumblr does something extremely annoying - Reports are limited to 350 characters.
Tumblr media
My tips:
State plainly what the user is doing. Did they say "children are hot"? Say "they state in this post children are hot". Did they say "I am dating a child?" Say "In this post they admit to dating a child."
Skip any "please", "thank you" or other pleasantries.
If they're hiding behind a label which is pro CSA, you might link to the original coining post of that label and say something like "they identify as xenosatanist, which is a label that means being pro rape and pedophilia (Definition of xenosatanist: )".
Once you have that done, it's extremely important that you also...
Report Them To CyberTip
Tumblr media
For "When did the most recent incident happen" you'll click whichever option fits - Check the most recent post where this user said something about IRL pedophilia/etc, and choose the date accordingly.
Beyond this one, the options you choose will likely be the same as mine. Here's what you need to keep in mind as you fill this out:
You don't know this person face-to-face. (Unless you do, in which case you can add that - I don't have experience filling out this section yet, but it seems to ask for basic information like their name and email. If you happen to know their legal name and email, do add that.)
What specifically are you reporting them for? Are they mentioning that they have access to child porn/child sexual abuse material? Have they mentioned that they're in a relationship with a child? Are they posting tutorials for others to enter relationships with children? If it fits one of these, that's a good reason to report it, and I think it's best to just plainly say that's what they're doing. "This user openly identifies as a minor attracted person and has posted about being in a relationship with a child," is an example of something I've written in a report before.
Do you know their other social media? Have they linked to a Rentry, Carrd, Twitter, PayPal, Discord server, etc? If they do, include those links and mention that it's theirs. Include as many as you can.
Tumblr media
You'll select your own timezone and the approximate time.
For "Was this incident:" it can vary, but I would say that the majority of pedophiles on Tumblr it can be considered to be "Ongoing." Keep in mind that you may not know if what they're doing was a one-time incident, and if they're already posting to a community that encourages and celebrates this abuse, it's really unlikely it's going to be one-time.
For "Where did the incident happen?:" your answer is also going to vary. In the post that I reported, they stated that it was happening offline (and I included the post where they stated that in one of the next sections).
Tumblr media
Once again for "Please choose the option that best describes your incident" it's going to vary. The user I am reporting is in this relationship offline, so that's what I selected.
"Additional items" has a list of some specific things. Select whichever ones of these apply and then make sure to select "Sexual exploitation of a child not listed here," because this covers most of the things radqueers do.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Select "I have more details." Again, this user was in-person, but the website gives you several options.
Tumblr media
In this text box, you can go into much more detail about what happened. My tips for this section:
Mention any labels they are using on their blog which support pedophilia/rape. Do they have a post on their blog where they coined a blankqueer stance that encourages pedophilia, for example? Many radqueers I've reported have.
Mention specifically what they said. In my example above, they were openly posting about pride for being attracted to children and stated they were in a relationship with one, among other things, so I stated these facts.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"i need to double check this and see what information about people you can add, i think maybe you can add their tumblr blogs and other accounts and discord and email?"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I didn't in this case, but you can leave your contact information.
Here's a very important part: AFAIK this space can be used for more context for related things, and I consider making the CyberTip line aware of radqueers part of that.
Here is an example of something I typed once, and I welcome you to paraphrase it (do not copy this verbatim). If CyberTip.org receives enough people reporting radqueers who specified the term, they're going to recognize the group as a serious issue.
"Radqueer" is an online subculture for people who consider all paraphilias to be queer among other things. Here is an archive of the online coining post: https://archive.ph/D8pAh This post also features an archive of the coiner of this term saying that attraction to children is queer by definition: https://archive.ph/D8pAh#selection-1811.8-1811.37 Additionally - Searching the term "radqueer" on sites like Tumblr and DeviantArt shows many examples of people making "pride flags" for attraction to animals, children, corpses and other heinous things. Please recognize "radqueer" as a pedophile dogwhistle term. It would help prevent more children from being traumatized if somewhere on MisskingKids.com there was a Resource focused on radqueers and the harm they do to children. I will reach out to Tumblr and tell them my own experiences in an attempt to convince them to ban radqueers from the website, but I think this would be more effective if a large organization also posted about the dangers.
Tumblr media
You'll be given a report number once you're done, which you can keep if you like.
After all of this, I really advise you to take care of yourself. There's been some study that found playing Tetris after a traumatic event can help you process and feel better quicker.
Here is the official Tetris website (Plays after an ad)

I didn't think I'd have to make a post about this but I wake up and find out Woofles has been doxxed. A lot of vent blogs that had useful information on them are now private or gone out of fear of them getting doxxed next after receiving threats from an account.
I would just like to put out there, we who are working on the updated document on Kittycorn and her associates had absolutely nothing to do with this, and we do not condone doxxing or direct harassment in any way, shape, or form.
All in all this entire thing was handled horribly by the doxxers - they released it at a bad time and have pretty much slashed the chances of Woofles facing any consequences
Having a bunch of randos DM you on facebook with inconsistent information and basically being harassed... From Woofles dad's perspective who are you going to trust more? Your kid, or these random people harassing you online?
I do think that it is still very likely Woofles will see a lot of trouble and stress because of this, but not nearly as much as if he were properly reported and someone made a direct line of communication with his dad. But now that the doxx was made public, Woofles can play victim in this regard.
Allegedly the person who released the doxx was Woofes' victim, and while we are sympathetic to that, it just wasn't the right move as this has given Woofles opportunity to completely destroy any evidence that may be online of his wrong doings because now random people online know his address. I feel what should have been done with the information if you had it is keep it to yourself, filed a report to the authorities or send in a cybertip with the relevant information. We had our DMs open to collaborate with anyone who felt they had relevant information. We could have worked together so Woofles could've been properly reported if the doxxer themselves could not.
What has happened has been a big road bump for us too as so many accounts in the former Sparklecare space deactivating due to the fear of being doxxed. This means when the doc drops with concrete relevant information, they'll be less people to circulate it. Additionally the anticare/anti Kittycorn section of the internet will now falsely be associated with the doxxing of Woofls when we had nothing to do with it. All the hard work everyone has put in now has a black mark on it due to the doxxers.
Most worrying of all, now that Woofles knows that people know his address and such, he will now probably be on the down low and much more covert so he could potentially groom future victims much more stealthily when he knows the stakes are higher.
As general statement: Please do not make hasty and impulsive decisions when you have access to important sensitive information. It helps no one and may have a lot of unintended consequences.

also the problem i have with Antis is that some of them will act their community is so perfect and do nothing wrong but meanwhile it’s almost at least one Anti who got exposed as a predator or something else problematic and i’m not saying the proship community doesn’t also have weirdos but i remember i had sent this Anti a link about Antis who were the anti lolicon type and got exposed as pedos and i was messaging them privately debating because they had tried reporting me and my other moots to the cybertip hotline because we joked sexually about minor characters (me and my moots are minors ☠️) but anyways once i had sent them the link i think they had said “well that’s from last year” like omg just admit your community has weirdos
Exactly antis are just so dense to the fact that anyone can be a bad person and their stance on shipping has NOTHING to do with it😭😭 also it's just stupid that they'd report people to REAL AUTHORITIES because of fictional characters. They're wasting the time of people with IMPORTANT jobs and serious things to do because some kid on the internet thinks fictional incest is hot or something

Reporting CSEM
A few of my many asks have been requests to report users that are currently, tangibly abusing minors in some way. This category mainly covers the distribution of CSEM outside of publicly visible spaces on Tumblr.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Please DO NOT send these requests to me! I am not capable of investigating them.
Instead, please DO report what you see directly to Cybertip.
Cybertip is a website where you can freely and anonymously submit child sexual exploitation to people who have the power and resources to do something about it. @/report-rqs has a great tutorial on submitting information you come across.
I continue to take regular Tumblr report requests -- there are just some offenses that are so severe I'd be putting myself or my account in danger if I were to personally investigate them. At some point crimes are best left to the professionals. Asks like this will be deleted in the future, thank you 🥲
