Stories involving ghosts and spirits aren't too common in the ATLA fandom (which is just sad).#That's the main reason I started writing FTS—to explore the spirit world and the endless possibilities it brings to the table.#Yue's backstory and Uncle Iroh's spirituality have always been so fascinating to me. Now I get the chance to explore that world through Zuko #Kya won't be a recurring character. She's connected to her home and the Old Tribe so I don't think we'll be seeing much of her in the future #But we don't need to. She's a vision of home. A past you cannot return to. The spirits of loved ones who watch over you.#She makes an impact on the present through her connection with the past. And I think that's beautiful.

Never will I stop with the steadfast notion that folks in the DPXDC fandom should interact with at least some form of canon DC media.

There are comics, tv shows, radio dramas both old and new, podcasts, movies, magazines, so much shit that intentionally avoiding the media is simply preventing yourself from spawning new ideas and gaining a new appreciation for a fandom that you’re already in.

The Superman Radio Show has episodes 11 minutes long. A lot of the TV shows don’t have episodes that surpass 30 minutes and most are nearly fully clipped on the official DC YouTube channel. The amount of fan made motion comics is astounding. The amount of fanmade animations is equally as incredible.

long-story short, Sun doesn’t believe he has emotions since he is a robot 😔

of course, he sees Moon and Eclipse emote all the time. he usually attributes it to Moon being a fool (believing he is something he's not) and Eclipse being manipulative (given that he was originally built for the theater)

but there is a part of him that wonders if he is missing something—he just doesn’t understand what that is

Note: i should also mention, his voice is almost completely monotone. the closet idea of a voice claim for this Sun is Greg Chun's voice for Lukas from Fire Emblem Echoes—fairly even in tone, somewhat soft

sometimes i randomly remember that a while back i was word-dumping for a fic idea i had and then the next morning i couldn’t find it in my drafts only to realize i had POSTED it here and even though it was up for 10 whole hours not a single person liked it. like you all knew that chicken scratch was not like me and were real ones so thank you (i now always make sure my stuff stays as a draft until it’s ready to get posted) 😂

a kirby-inspired furry character i came up with, named copykitty! any pronouns :)

copykitty is a shapeshifting angel who came down to earth: the first thing they saw was a cat, which they thought was so cute, they copied it and became a cat themselves! copykitty finds everything beautiful and everything inspiring, so they're always trying out new artistic hobbies and transforming into new creatures - especially the creatures they find in the fantasy worlds humans come up with! some might say copykitty is uncreative for borrowing ideas from everyone and everything, but by making those ideas their own, perhaps they're the most creative of all!

tbh I think a good way to view tales from the pizzaplex is that it's in addition to and not instead of

#meaning that the book story is additional to the game story so it has a chance to actually be fleshed out and detailed #when they couldnt get to the same level of detail even if they tried in the games #like they couldnt have made a game showing mimic living with edwin and david and their interactions and stuff #and the tagline 'if you've read the books you dont know the full story'#in addition to not instead of #and i think a great way to show that this isnt a bad thing is ggy #ggy the book enhances ggy as a storyline soo much its crazy #it makes it feel so much more rich and makes ggy feel genuinely threatening and interesting #and fleshes him out more making him actively very different from vanny visibly in his story and plot and role in everything #and yet theres still so much left to cover with him that they have plenty to do in the games #idk i think months/years ago it was a different ballpark but now that rheres more info #+ they're actively showing drive to explain and reveal things in the games and make them more rich at the same fime #so things arent locked behind paywalls and hours of read time #its not nearly as bad and condemning as it felt before #i think theres still the thing of 'plotline revealed in book that only a small percentage of fandom knows about #so the new content and interesting concept is barely explored in the book itself but also in the fanbase bc the recieval is so small #and underwhelming #and these plotlines will take years to be explored in the games #but you already know about them so it isnt as connected with the rest of the fanbase as you'd like'#i think thats definitely a thing but it depends #that's why i felt tired abt escape the pizzaplex bc it was like great nothing was progressed and now theres another setup #that we have to wait for again to be talked about in the games #when theres already stuff piled up #pandas.txt #thoughts #discourse
