thinking of not-robin Tim au… where he’s Lois lane’s intern (ty @mamawasatesttube ) and they go do investigative journalism on animal smuggling in the rainforest (bc I am also on a HARD zoology kick rn. I always am tbh it’s my dream career but especially this weekend it’s been at the very forefront of my mind)

kind of Rio style but that could also be bc my brain is substituting those plot points for ones I haven’t ironed out myself just yet lol. I’ll keep thinking about it. Tim may have never been Robin here but he has STANDARDS to live up to bc!! Lois lane!! Asked him to join her as her photographer for the special and he’s buzzing. And if he ends up needing a rescue from superman bc he’s too nosy for his own good and got in trouble with said smugglers well that just makes him even more like Lois so win win for him

it doesnt need to be said but its genuinely so funny how at-the-hip charles and erik are in krakoa like they really had the green light- the OBLIGATION- to be as obnoxiously close to each other as possible and abused that right to the fullest extent

I was thinking about how Quark & Rom and Michael & Spock are the two most compelling sibling dynamics in Star Trek to me, and then I realized that there’s basically no competition. Like, when it comes to well-developed relationships between siblings that are shown over the course of multiple episodes… there just aren’t any others in the entirety of Star Trek.

There are some interesting sibling relationships shown in one or a couple episodes (like Ezri and her brothers, Travis and his brother, Saru and his sister, Tendi and her sister, plus a few others), but they’re not focused on over a long period of time so I don’t really count them. I guess there’s technically Worf and his biological brother, but I don’t count that either since they weren’t raised together. Theoretically the relationship between the Kirk brothers in SNW could become well-developed, but as it stands so far I wouldn’t describe them that way.

What Star Trek really needs is more well-developed sibling relationships.

This fandom needs to start getting a lot better at handling itself.

Curate your own space.

Stop being so puritan about what you feel is "allowed" to be written about. (especially if it's tagged)

And write kinkier fic.
