while he’s in the closet hundreds of pink sweet and low packets fall on his head

but we never actually SEE him come out of the closet, just a cut to his grandmas funeral, so metaphorically he never left

I hope we don’t get a Jinx poster. So far, she’s had a part in both posters, with Ekko’s cuff and the poster in Caitlyn’s, and the mysteriousness of her not even getting her own is so interesting, even tho it’s basically confirmed that hers is the next one?

Like, with the posters, we only get to see how others see Jinx, experience Jinx how other experience Jinx, but we have to wait for s2 to come out to really see what’s going on with her.

Thinking about a dark sbi post-apocalypse scifi AU where 3/4 SBI are androids and Techno is a human...

The apocalypse is directly related to the androids. Specifically, something going wrong in the software, like a bug that flipped the androids into becoming murder machines. A large chunk of the human population is dead and those that remain are in hiding, actively needing to do so for survival.

SBI are special prototypes of a new model of guard/caretaker/companion robots. The only three in existence of this model. The bug has a weird effect on their software. While it does make them murder machines also, it makes them extremely protective of the one specific human they're bonded to. Except, when the bug happened, they hadn't been bonded to anybody yet since they were still in development.

Enter Techno.

Techno is a human who has been surviving in this apocalypse, being smart and nimble and kickass to avoid being killed. He encounters SBI and for *reasons* (which means I'm still working on how exactly), they end up bonded to him.

They now see Techno as their human, the one their entire existence revolves around, the one they need to protect and take care of as a sole purpose. And thanks to the bug, SBI's software is still rather jumbled, and they're not hesitant about hurting anybody else or showing Techno they know what's best of him, no matter how much he complains.

I'm genuinely confused about A because like, polyminds repeatedly and constantly say "hey!! We're not systems, we are very different from people who have a serious disorder."

But to actually answer the question; anon did you do any research on either? DID is a serious dissociative disorder, alters are only one of the diagnostic criteria and people who are affected by it experience memory gaps, amnesia, identity confusion with some reporting suicidal idealization, hallucinations and such.

Polymindence is not a disorder, it is not a medical term, it is not in the DSM 5 criteria and is not a professional diagnosis. Polymindence has little effect on the person's life, if any.

The B just really proves a point written in a different post I've seen. I'm not trying to get extra attention or seem special, I'm just trying to share my experiences and find a community of people who have similar ones.
