Proship culture is being a fan of an underrated character but almost everyone who's a fellow fan of them is an anti (both adults and minors) and being too scared to have a separate account where you post art or talk abt that character in fear they'll find you, since many of them are so obsessed with the character that they repost art of that character from PIXIV with no credit (which adds to my paranoia), screenshot fics of that character from Ao3 without censoring the username to complain abt the content and even screenshot whatever a fellow fan of the character retweeted and being like "I don't appreciate someone in the (character)nation retweeting these" as if being a fan of that character is a cult with the way these people word it, "someone in the (character)nation".

they even know abt this underrated japanese artist who draws dark content of the character (filtered ofc), bc I saw these fantis talk abt them on twitter and tiktok, saying things like "I can't believe I went to a fellow (character) fan's account just to find out they draw pr0ship art of them (insert death threat)" like okay, and? block them and stop whining on the internet for attention.

like, you didn't create the character! you're not the owner of social media or the media the character is from so filter what you don't like instead of acting like you own that character. geez!

I wish there was a "registered users only" setting like in Ao3 on every social media so I can block these people easily.

So, Maria Renard is in her late teens in Nocturne, right? I have to wonder: why her DXC child design, bright pink outfit and all, instead of her more elegant, pre-existing late teen look from SOTN? Has the choice ever been explained? Is there any commentary in the show about it?

I have no idea. Every time they bring designs from the games, they find a way to mess them up to the point where I wish they had just changed them.

Why do Alucard's clothes look so cheap for a prince? Why the V-neck shirt? What is the point of him wearing a coat and a cloak in S4, if he still exposes his entire tiddies? (yes i know it's to make the fangirls drool, I mean his in-universe logic)

Why does Hector wear one glove and one arm guard when he cannot lift a knife, let alone a sword? Doesn't the arm guard get in the way when he's smithing? Why do he and Isaac wear vastly different uniforms with different crests?

Why does Richter look like a terrible blend of his aristocratic DXC design and his Ryu-inspired design of RoB? What is the significance of his headband that was so hyped the entire climax of his character arc in S1 was dedicated to wearing it, other than a cute meta reference?

Why does Maria look not only like a child when she's supposed to be 16, but also look like a little noble girl during the French Revolution? "My mother hasn't paid her taxes for years now because she's just too poor," she says, but not only Tera can buy bread for her family and for guests, Maria dresses up like this???

And no, I don't think Deats ever explained why they didn't choose the SoTN design, I only found a tweet where he confirmed her age. My best guess is... they're saving it for a timeskip.
